The living room, king master bedroom suite, and panoramic (180 degree view) deck all have COMPLETELY UNOBSTRUCTED ocean views. Don’t be fooled: this Cedar Reef villa building is one of only two (D and K) that are TRUE oceanfront (we are D211). ALL of these other villa buildings have 1 to 3 buildings between them and the beach, AND sit perpendicular to the beach!

This beach is one of the most pristine, uncrowded beaches on the East coast. Loggerhead turtles nest and hatch on our beach! Unforgettable sunrise views of the ocean and dunes are absolutely gorgeous from the corner-view deck. You’ll enjoy the tranquility as dolphins glide by, sea oats sway in the breeze, and shrimp trawlers parade out to hunt their morning’s catch. After you finish enjoying your morning coffee, the deck becomes fully-shaded for the rest of the day.
Golf anyone? There are 11 courses around Beaufort. The closest are the two courses on nearby Fripp Island: Ocean Point and a Davis Love III signature course - 3 miles away and open to anyone. Fripp Island is gated, so call for reservations. South Carolina National, Paris Island Golf Club, and the Lady’s Island Country Club are all within 20 minutes, and there are many others.
How about deep sea fishing? Two fishing tour companies also operate out of Fripp Island.

But if you are looking for that wonderfully quiet beach vacation you remember from childhood, then Harbor Island is the place for you. In a glorious natural setting, our island is perhaps the best kept secret on the East coast! And even though this is a private, gated community with 24 hour security, Harbor Island is a friendly place where people say hello and wave at you from their cars – and, don’t forget, the beach is never crowded, as in never-ever crowded!
Located just 15 minutes from beautiful historic Beaufort, one hour from grand Savannah (or its airport), one hour from Hilton Head, and one hour fifteen minutes to historic Charleston (or its airport).
The king master bedroom suite and the 2 twin-bed guest room suite each have their own private full bathroom (a separate door closes for the shower, tub and toilet) and both have TVs and DVDs. The queen-sized sleeper sofa and queen-sized air mattress allow for additional guests or overnight friends and family to visit your newly found paradise. The villa sleeps 8 people total. All bed linens and bath towels are provided. We have added a 42-inch plasma flat screen and home theater DVD/CD in the family room! We have provided a library of DVDs, books and magazines to enjoy during your visit.

Why the Owner Chose Harbor Island
We have been travelling to South Carolina for vacation ever since Katie's parents moved from Maryland to South Carolina in 1993. We love the weather, the southern charm and the unique peace and quiet of the low country beaches.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the peaceful direct views of the dunes and the ocean from the deck and the master bedroom. The two-story design of the villa offers more of a sense of space and privacy than a standard one-story condominium. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus there is a powder room downstairs, so no one is ever waiting to use the bathroom. We have WIFI and a flat screen cable television with dvd surround sound (in family room - plus tvs in each bedroom) so we would always be entertained, even if the weather wasn't cooperating! The island offers several pools, tennis courts, basketball and other activities so there is always something to do.

Our favorite time of each year is when we can come to South Carolina to spend time together relaxing and enjoying all of the activities that the Low Country has to offer.

This was our third trip to the island but our first time in this condo. We found it spotless and well stocked. It is very comfortable and the location if perfect. The view from the living room, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom is perfection. There are books, games, and the kitchen is very well stocked. The air mattress had a leak and went down on our first night there and Katie the owner sent her father out on July 4th to bring a brand new one. We could not ask for more. She was helpful before and during our stay. We really appreciated the opportunity to stay in her lovely home. We will definitely be back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I stayed here a week with my family, and I can't say enough good things about this condo. It was clean, in good repair, and is beautiful as well as comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to fix and serve a meal for 5 people, the appliances were all fairly new and worked perfectly, and the TV in the family room is huge. The view of the sunrise from the master bedroom is indescribable (we also got to watch a fantastic lightning storm over the water one night). The owner was quick to reply to any questions I emailed her with, and is a very easy, friendly person to deal with. There was also a pass for Hunting Island which was a really nice thing to find - Hunting Island is beautiful and we went there several times during our stay. The single negative thing about our trip was something beyond the owner's control - the little general store on the island was closed, meaning anything you needed (food, paper towels, sunscreen) was a 20 minute drive away to St. Helena. However, that really was minor compared to all the positives. Overall, this was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed on vacation, and not only will we recommend it to our friends, we'll also be coming back to this exact same unit next year if at all possible. Food recommendations: we ate at Boondock's and at Factory Creek Fish Co, and both places are simply wonderful. Boondock's is closer but both restaurants are worth making the trip to. I think Boondock's is on St. Helena, but Factory Creek Fish Co. is on Lady's Island. One thing I would STRONGLY suggest is that if you're collecting shells on the beach, make absolutely sure that any whole shells you find are empty. Put them on a flat patch of sand and watch to see if they move. Every single unbroken shell we found (over 25, no kidding) had a hermit crab in it.

Wonderful condo that overlooks St. Helena Sound/Ocean. The whole island is an adventure, from the changing tides to the lagoons, it's great. Located perfectly between Charleston and Savannah, near Beaufort. Let me say this, the Beaufort waterfront is the most spectacular one I have ever seen. It's a hidden gem in the Lowcountry. Go eat at Luthers on the patio and enjoy the views from downtown Beaufort. Also check out Dockside in Port Royal, their food is second to none. I highly advise this condo
