Enjoy a week or weekend away with friends and family at a relaxing three bedroom home with two full bathrooms just a short walk to Stop 31 in Long Beach and beautiful Lake Michigan.
The house sleeps 6 - 7 within its 3 bedrooms, and includes all the comforts of home with a washer and dryer, central air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, Weber barbeque, and large screen TV with DVD/VCR.
The house is suited for all stages of life and can accommodate those with special needs. A ramp, a sliding glass door, and a large gate, make getting in and out of the house simple for wheelchairs, strollers, or walkers. The first floor also features a bedroom with a double sized bed, and a full bathroom next to it. The bathroom is equipped with a safety bar in the shower. A detachable showerhead makes bathing easy and convenient for toddlers and seniors alike.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and table settings. It also features a breakfast bar open to the living room offering comfortable living space for the entire family.
Outside is a large deck with an expansive fenced-in yard. This provides space for morning coffee, evening barbeques, and any number of activities throughout your stay.
**Please do NOT bring or use any outdoor fire pits in the backyard.**
The upstairs is equipped for families of all ages. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and 1 crib. A full size bathroom with shower is also located upstairs. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and 2 bunk beds. The lower bunk bed has a trundle pull-out enabling the room to sleep 5 comfortably. 2 dressers, 2 closets and a changing table in the room allow you to store all diapers and other child necessities. Other conveniences on hand that you won’t have to pack are a double jogging style stroller, a single jogging style stroller, high chairs, toys, games, coolers, and bikes.
A beautiful beach awaits you at our deeded beach rights at Stop 31. An easy 5 block walk will bring you to a viewing deck overlooking the beach and then a few short steps down to the sand.
The house is stocked with all necessary beach amenities including beach chairs, towels, coolers, and a beach tag. Within walking distance there are also 2 playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, and a baseball diamond.
Other nearby attractions and activities include shopping at Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall; browsing the boutique shops in New Buffalo, antique shopping along Red Arrow Highway, wine tasting in Harbor County; gambling or dining at the Four Winds or Blue Chip Casinos, public golf courses in the area include Whittaker Woods and Briar Leaf, see the famous Michigan City Zoo, charter fish for perch or coho salmon, harvest strawberries, blueberries, cherries or raspberries at local farms or climb Mount Baldy at the Indiana Dunes State Park.

We had a great time at this lovely family home. They have a huge yard with big shady trees. Ramp access made it ideal for our grandmother's wheelchair. There was a crib in the master for our baby. A quiet neighborhood. So nice!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.
