This unique two-story, 1800 square foot mountain home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and is situated on 1 acre in a very private, spectacular wooded setting. Only 2 miles from Durango Mountain Resort(Purgatory) and 24 miles from charming, historic Durango, endless activities await you. This cabin is truly a winter retreat and offers the ultimate in privacy and seclusion. Please note you must have a 4-wheel drive, All-Wheel drive, or front-wheel drive with chains to access this cabin in the winter.
The home was built in 2008 and is furnished with unusual, high quality furnishings. Where else could you find a spinnaker belonging to a famous 80' maxi stretched out in the loft, or beautiful South American hardwood trim?
Check out the fantastic deck with brand new, aesthetically flush hot tub, exterior teak furniture and a barbecue large enough for any wild game. Let your mind and eyes be entertained. The house, with two separate living areas, is perfect for families. The house has tile flooring through out and brand new carpet in the bedrooms. The entire home has radiant in-floor heating so even when it is snowing out there you may walk bare foot as if you were in the tropics.
The kitchen and bathroom counters are made from Guatemalan marble. The appliances are stainless steel. The entire exterior of the house is covered with hand split cedar shakes just like a Swiss chalet.
Free wireless internet and phone access, a karaoke machine and an electronic piano are provided as well as two large flat screen TVs hooked to Dish Network.
