This spacious 2-story home features oak hardwood floors, radiant heating, vaulted ceiling in Living Room , Kitchen & MBR; Gas Fireplace in LR. 5 sleeping rooms w/4 beds and 2 sofa beds: (MBR/queen, downstairs BR/king, 2nd downstairs BR/2 twins, LR/queen sofa bed, FR/queen sofa bed. Fun Hot Tub on upper deck with glass & wind screens, 2nd deck upstairs overlooking street toward beach, patio downstairs off FR. Enclosed yard, tall hedges, large parking area that can hold a small RV or trailer (3 cars can park on property, more on street). Also has an outdoor shower.
Great neighborhood for walks, (harbor, lighthouse, Crow's Nest Restaurant closeby) less than 3 short blocks to wonderful, large sandy beach with fire rings for bonfires & marshmallow roasting, allows dogs on leash. Free firewood for taking to beach, Well equipped home including linens/towels; 3 TVs, radio/CD player, gas BBQ, games, children’s books, poker chips/cards, beach chairs/umbrella, mats, toys, 5 bikes/3 helmets. Upscale appliances Miele’ washer/dryer/dishwasher, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf gas range appliances.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is a spacious 3-Bedrooms with a Family Room, Hot Tub and Pet Friendly (for 1 small dog), 3-short blocks to beach. This spacious 2-story home features oak hardwood floors, Vaulted Living Room with a Free DSL computer. The home also has a Fireplace, a fire-stove in the Den and 5-sleeping rooms. Its an easy walk to both the Twin Lakes Beach, the wonderful restaurants at the Harbor, and just over to bridge plus a couple of blocks to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with its FREE band concerts on each Friday night during the summer!
Great food and a beautiful outside (heated) deck to watch the sailboats drift in and out of the Harbor. Live music many nights of the week and its an easy 4-min walk from our Vacation rental the Twin
There is an easy path that goes from East Cliff, down to the foot bridge that crosses the San Lorenzo River and ends at the Boardwalk, so no parking fees!
Large sandy beach with bonfire rings and lots to watch, like the boats sailing off from the Harbor, the Volleyball tournaments, kite flying and lots of kids having a great time at the Beach.
Don't miss this lovely beach and the fun full-size (and climbable) whale sculpture. A great place to take photos of everyone on a whale.
On the East side of the Harbor Bridge, great views of the harbor. Monday night gourmet specials including house wine for fix price of $20 are wonderful

We originally bought this home for our daughter who was attending The University of California at Santa Cruz, and when she graduated we found we really enjoyed visiting the home and all the fun of the Beach and the area. We now have it as a full time Vacation Rental, and we often come after guests have left and enjoy working in the yard and upgrading the property. We belong to a network of friends who get together twice a year to share the fun of finding nice people to rent our homes.
