Kick off your shoes, forget all of the daily grind, long commutes, crowded expressways and deadlines. We invite you to come and sit on the porch, take a deep breath of fresh, cool mountain air and just relax...life doesn't get any better!
We built this home at the end of 2005 on a pretty level acre of land at the base of a mountain in a private, deed restricted community. It's a wonderful place for young and old alike. We think of it as "a little slice of heaven" in the mountains of Murphy, NC.
Beautifully decorated and only 10 minutes to historical downtown Murphy, NC where it's like traveling back in time. The area offers so much to do year round and better yet, we're only 2 hours away from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Asheville to add to the area attractions.
We hope that you have the opportunity to come and "stay a spell" at Boden's Bungalow...it's great for a long weekend, a weekly visit or take the whole month to relax. All the comforts of home and more private and cost effective than staying at one of the area hotels!

We absolutely love the area for peace and relaxation. The area people are so nice and caring...give the shirt off their backs if they had to. The deed restricted community is well cared for and hidden away from the main drag! If you want peace and quiet...great place for a honeymoon!
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Sleeping in until 11 am on most mornings and not having to do anything all day if we don't want to. The back deck is wonderful to come home to at night and sit out and enjoy nature. Fireflies, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, wild turkeys, deer, foxes, raccoons to just to name a few of the nature you can see in our beautiful area. The photography opportunities are incredible.
