Enjoy access to Black Mountain's beautiful, brand new Cheshire Health and Fitness Center with a ($12/day/guest) Guest Pass. The Racquet Club is also available to visitors for additional costs.

This is a perfect escape from the bustle of the suburbs, yet close enough to Asheville's offerings. Our dogs love coming here and walking along the creek as we love sitting off the deck hearing the water. The three different levels is great for family to spread out but still be near one another. Very clean and nicely furnished. Can't wait until we can come again. Thanks again for a wonderful getaway at Black Bear.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

January 2009 - Raleigh, NC "The home was perfect for our family, we were very comfortable here. The kids especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Thank you for being a Pet Friendly destination, it was nice to be able to bring our two dogs with us instead of having to pay someone to care for them.
