We had a mini family reunion there recently. It was great! There is so much room for everyone. Upstairs was so much fun, there is a gaming table that has roulette, craps, blackjack and poker. We had a lot of fun playing those. There are also TONS of board games to play from the classic to the new. It was clean, well stocked, and the owner is absolutely the best to work with. We appreciated the great price and the last minute scheduling.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We were here for a week and it was a wonderful house. Very clean, in good condition, and spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to relax. It has a nice fenced yard, so there is no danger of younger children wandering away from the house. The area is quiet - with little to no street traffic. Everything is supplied, with even a few things you might not expect - from beach toys, movies, a lot of games, to kitchen/food items. It was also very handy to have a dishwasher, washer and dryer available. The park and beach access are very close - a couple of minutes to walk, and other activities are a short drive away, such as the aquarium, lighthouse, tidal pools, and the historical downtown area. It's an easy drive to Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, or Tillamook if you want to explore further away. The owners are very responsive and friendly - the rental process was easy and taken care of quickly. Can't say enough good things about this experience!

This was the perfect place for us to stay at when we visited Newport, and we highly recommend it to anyone. It can meet the needs of any type of guest, and it also has many perks for those with children. The house is very spacious, is clean and in great condition, and everything you need is there except for bringing your own food. There are linens, beach towels, sandy toys, movies for all ages, games, books, and all the kitchen equipment needed to cook. I also appreciated that the downstairs bedrooms are set back from the upstairs, so it allows more privacy and quiet. There is an outside deck, and a garage with a full washer and dryer. The location is exactly as listed which is 2 minutes from the beach. You can access it through a wooded path, and then it's a nice, flat beach to run on, collect sea shells, play in the surf, etc. You can also walk about 6 blocks north to a paved path that is a little easier on those who can't climb as well. You can walk to the shops down by the bayfront, or it's a 2 minute car ride. We really enjoyed the bayfront restaurants and shops, plus, we bought some fresh Halibut from Local Ocean down on the bayfront and cooked it back at the house. The aquarium is also only a few minutes ride from the house, and it's definitely worth a visit. Great place to stay!

This was a great house for our family with 2 kids under the age of 3. There is an upstairs playroom with lots of space and kid-friendly carpeting, games and a tv. The bedrooms are nice. It is literally only a 2 minute walk to the beach, and there is lots to do close by. We enjoyed the Newport Bayfront, the Oregon Coast Aquarium and South Beach. Lots of nice touches to the house like the beach chairs, beach toys, kites, tvs in multiple rooms, etc. Kitchen was well-supplied. No complaints! Thanks for a great time!
