This Tobin Hill Townhome was built in 2007 and provides modern accommodations in one of San Antonio's charming, revitalized downtown neighborhoods. It is perfect for a romantic getaway, a business trip or a fun filled vacation in the "Alamo City."
Located less than 2 miles from the Alamo and our famous Riverwalk, it is near Methodist Metropolitan Hospital and Trinity University. Tobin Hill Townhome offers a great central location to tour our wonderful city. Sightseeing, dining, shopping and strolling along the Riverwalk are all a short trolley ride away.
The recently expanded Riverwalk, now extends north to the Pearl Brewery. You can access the riverwalk less than 1/2 mile from the townhome and walk/bike or take a river taxi to the center of downtown. This new addition passes the San Antonio Museum of Art. Come see Donald Lipski's F.I.S.H., an art installation featuring 25 glowing sunfish suspended from a bridge over the well known waterway!
Rent a bicycle and tour the Riverwalk and city on wheels! Check the internet for more information on the city's newest attraction for tourists "B Cycles." A fun suggestion - go to the Pearl Brewery Farmer's Market on Saturday morning (9am-1pm) and rent a bike from that location.
Enjoy a choice of many different cuisines in nearby restaurants or if you prefer, cook your own specialty in our fully equipped kitchen.

We have rented several VRBO properties for family vacations and feel it is not only economical but the best way to stay and have fun together. We bought the townhome so others could enjoy our wonderful city in a great "home away from home."
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The Tobin Hill neighborhood is close to downtown San Antonio and the famous Riverwalk with easy access to the airport and other attractions around the city. Visit San Antonio year round and see why it is the #1 tourist city in Texas!
The airport is 7 miles from Tobin Hill Townhome - an easy drive south on U.S. 281.
The trolley stop is about 6 blocks from Tobin Hill Townhome - this trolley will take you to downtown, the Alamo and the Riverwalk which are all less than 2 miles away.
Be sure and take the Riverboat ride - the narrator will tell you about San Antonio and it will give you a good idea of where restaurants are located.
The kids will love the zoo and the train ride through Brackenridge Park. About 3 miles from the townhome.
If you like roller coasters this is the place for you! About 16 miles from the townhome.
Mission San Jose is the largest of the missions and still has an active Catholic church and parish.
Enjoy a taste of Mexico! Restaurants and shopping - there is often a festival happening!
River barges will take you down the riverwalk to the center of downtown San Antonio. Or, you may walk/bike along the picturesque riverwalk on the sidewalks to downtown.

We have been renting properties throughout the world for over 25 years. This property rates probably the highest in quality and value and is definitely unrivalled for the San Antonio downtown area. We researched in depth comparing both private and commercial (Corporate Named) alternatives taking into account cost, location and quality. We were absolutely 100% correct in our choice of this Townhome, proved in no small way by the 1st class service received during our stay from the owners who were attentive to every detail. "Wonderful place to stay! It was nice to have such a pleasant oasis in the heat. We felt at home. We spent our time this week at Gymnastics, Trampoline and Tumbling Nationals but we also hit Six Flags Fiesta and the Riverwalk. We enjoyed coming to an actual home each day and we took advantage of all the accommodations. Thank you!"
