Beautiful custom 1900 square foot cabin with loft, just 2 minutes from the heart of Lakewood, WI. Spacious 3 bedroom, 1 bath, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing Northwoods family vacation. The open floor plan with vaulted ceiling extends to a 400 square foot covered deck. Wheeler Lake is a full recreational lake with a public beach located just 500 yards from the driveway. The public boat landing is just across the road. Boating, skiing, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming, and relaxing on the beach are some of the activities that you can enjoy daily. Bass, perch, walleye, northern pike, musky, and pan fish are some of the fish you and your children will catch at the lake. If you have your boat, it can be docked for no charge at the beach, while you bask in the sun or play in the sand.
This four seasons cabin is also great for winter activities. The marked snowmobile trail that runs on the property will lead you to hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Public cross country ski trails, are only a half of a mile down the road. Very close to public hunting land in the Nicolet National Forest. The ATV trail now runs right in front of the cabin(2011).

May 01-Sep 30 .. $175/night (3 night minimum) .. $900/week (6 nights/7 days)
$500 security deposit required. $50-$100 cleaning fee if applicable.
NO Indoor Smoking. $100 cancellation fee of not given 14 days in advance.
Check out no later then 11am day of departure. Check in 3pm on day of arrival.
Pets require a $50/week or $10/night added fee and must be kept in living room.
Please bring your own bath and beach towels, bed linens provided.
Prime time weekly rentals will run Fri-Fri (May 01-Sep 30)

Enjoyed our winter stay at this cabin very much. It was well kept and equipped. The open floor plan worked nicely for our group. The rooms are comfortable and we appreciated having a nice roaring fire in the evenings. Close to trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Plenty of privacy and a nice woodsy feel. Would recommend!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with young children.

This is a nice, very spacious yet cozy cabin. The review and photos were very accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. Could easily accomodate a large group. Very good cross country skiing trails nearby (check out Lakewood Cross Country Ski Club for online maps). Only downside is that the cabin is not all that secluded as there are a number of other houses around.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
