We had such a great experience staying at your cabin. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had all of the necessary kitchen utensils. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, and it was nice to have restaurants, ice cream shops, farm stands, and grocery stores all within a few miles of the house. We enjoyed easy day trips to Castle in the Clouds, Rattlesnake Mountain, and Holderness (to see the Natural Science Center - which was fantastic, and for a boat ride on Squam Lake), and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to unwind, spend time outdoors and enjoy good ice cream!

All the other reviews are true! This property is beautiful (the kitchen really is fantastic to cook in!), the owners are incredibly accommodating, and it is within driving distance of many different things to do. Scenic plane rides, Castle in the Clouds, hiking, swimming, mini golfing, shopping in Meredith, and a visit to Fun Spot arcade in Laconia! We did it all; and that wasn't even the beginning of what is available in this area! Our entire group of 8 would be eager to visit again and stay in this gorgeous property and explore more of what the area has to offer.

The log house is absolutely beautiful, and it is in a great location! The beach is not far away, and the house is very private and quiet. It is beautifully decorated, and everything you need is right there. The beds are really comfortable, and I enjoyed working in the kitchen! (not that I made elaborate meals on vacation, but the kitchen is really nice!) I would sign up for this log house as soon as possible, but leave a week for me, please!!!!! The area is so beautiful, and it is fun to explore the little nearby towns and countryside. (especially on a bicycle!) There are so many vegetable stands, great ice cream places, art galleries, craft shops, farmer's markets--it is one of my favorite vacation destinations!

Cabin and Lake Fever

What a great place to spend vacation with my family. The cabin was awesome. Truly a log cabin but with modern accessories including flat screens!! Plenty of room for 6 of us with room to spare. The beds were comfortable and cozy. We cooked some nights after shopping at nearby seafood and farmers market. The kitchen is fully equipped. The porch was great for early morning and late afternoon reading. The lake is a short drive down the hill. We would take our walks in the morning up and around the hilly roads for exercise. The beach was wonderful. Sandy beaches, soft sand, cool water and fun friendly people. The swimming area is roped off for safety and contains 2 swimming platforms for the kids. My kids 7 and 11 were totally water-logged. The lake is clear and clean. We visited the town of Moultonborough and Wolfeboro. Both are wonderful towns with a wide variety of things to do. We dined in Wolfeboro at the The Garbys Tavern - awesome food and atmosphere. We rented a boat with guide and toured the lake. We ate way too much ice cream. Lots of ice-cream in NH. Castle in the Clouds is a must. Very short drive (2 MILES). We had great lunch at the outdoor restaurant (not badly priced and good food). Great hiking if you r into it and horseback riding. Should not miss this. Overall our stay was 5 - Star. We plan to go back next summer.

We found the Log Cabin to be very clean, comfortable and extremely family oriented. We loved the beach and playgrounds and were able to get cell phone and computer reception at the clubhouse. My son and his family were so impressed by the area that they are looking at property. The web site gives a very accurate portrayal of the house and grounds. We loved it and had a wonderful time! The owner was very friendly and helpful and we loved seeing the family pictures.

My wife and I and four other couples stayed here while attending The Gypsy Tour and Laconia/ Weirs Beach Bike week, and what a wonderful experience. The photos didn't do it justice! It was imacculately clean and the floor plan gave everyone enough space that we weren't bumping into one another or waiting in line for a shower. It was more than we expected. It was close enough to everything and far enough away from civilization that we all slept like babies. The owner supplied us with an extensive listing of everything you could need but never thought to ask for, such as great places to eat, points of interest and hospitals (which came in handy!) The owner contacted us within an hour of our arrival and asked how our trip was?, were the directions sufficient? (and they were) and if we needed anything. It was the consensus of all who stayed that this was the place we want to go to every year. I just can't say enough good things about it. You won't be disappointed.

Our stay in this beautiful log cabin/home was great. We always wanted to live in a home of this style, so trying it out by vacationing in one was perfect. We were not disappointed! In fact we have toyed with the idea of building one ourselves. The cabin/house was immaculate. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who digs the outdoors with all the comforts of home.

Your log cabin was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and clean. Our three kids loved the loft with the log bunk beds and log bed. The covered porch and deck was perfect for cookouts and relaxing. The beach was great for our kids as well, with the playground, swim platforms and fishing. Looking forward to renting again.
