We had so much fun staying at the log cabin this February. There was 10 of us and my two miniature dachshunds. The log cabin was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We took the kids snowboarding/skiing at Cranmore Mt. in Conway NH which was about an hour away, but a good Mt. for their level of expertise. After our time at Cranmore, we decided to enjoy a meal at Buckey's on Rte.109 about 5 min. from the cabin. The restaurant was a cute place with a pool table in the back and had a lot of options for an enjoyable casual dining experience. The following day we went to the sledding hill which is located across from the clubhouse up the main road of the development. The kids had a blast sledding down this good sized hill, and my sisters and I even took a turn on the sleds we brought. My nephew and sister had shoveled their way to the fire pit in the back yard of the cabin using the kids shovels that were available to use at the cabin (a real shovel or two would have been better to have). It was great to have a nice warm fire pit going for the kids to enjoy some S'mores after sledding. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. Overall, we had a great time staying here and we would definitely rent this log cabin from them again.

perfect for our little ones
This was our second time at the log cabin. We had 6 adults and 5 kids ages 5 and under. Wonderful time - the place is very well equipped, both for kids and adults, and the deck is like a huge playpen. We discovered this year that you could walk right up the hill to the tennis court and playground, via a little path (beware of the blue pony at the playground--Jack was stung twice--he was lucky there is a bee's nest). The fire pit at the house is awesome--great for smores and sparklers. Stars--unbelievable! Of course the beach and fishing are great--so much fun for everyone. Puttputt golf very close, as is Castle in the Clouds(awesome views). Did Storyland one day. There is a great little children's museum in Meredith that we did on a foggy morning. Excellent pizza at Buckey's and great gourmet food at the Woodshed. All in all, we had a blast, Nothing negative to say about the log cabin:) Went to Weirs Beach on the way home--never been there--won't be going back!

This was a wonderful home to spend a glorious week with our family. Amenities were exactly as advertised. Everything was perfect. The area is beautiful. Beach is marvelous. I would recommend this rental to anyone interested in a beautiful, comfortable home in a breathtaking area of New Hampshire. It was perfect! Hope to rent again in the future. I found the home and was nervous about pleasing everyone with my selection, but all adults and children said I scored a winner! Whew! Thank you to the owners and staff.

This is a wondful wood cabin! It was very clean, had plenty of beds (sleeps 10), newer bathrooms, great kitchen to cook in, and a wonderful basement to watch movies on the big screen television and to play darts! This cabin is located walking distance to a very big hill to sled and tube down as well. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

What a gem this place is. We had a pretty good sized group and the place is big enough to make everyone comfortable. I can't wait to rent it again next year. 5 stars for sure!

Family had a wonderful time. House was perfect, although somewhat farther from beach then anticipated. Lot's of things to do in the area. Beach was great for little children (and adults). Todd Wauters was helpful and answered all questions. The log cabin was perfect in accommodating six adults and five grandchildren (all under 4 years old). Hope to return next year!

Comfortable and Spacious Log Cabin Living
Comfortable and Spacious Log Cabin Living
We had such a great experience staying at your cabin. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had all of the necessary kitchen utensils. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, and it was nice to have restaurants, ice cream shops, farm stands, and grocery stores all within a few miles of the house. We enjoyed easy day trips to Castle in the Clouds, Rattlesnake Mountain, and Holderness (to see the Natural Science Center - which was fantastic, and for a boat ride on Squam Lake), and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to unwind, spend time outdoors and enjoy good ice cream!
