Tastefully decorated fairway condominium, updated with HDTV and wireless high-speed internet access, in the lush setting of Monterey Country Club. This centrally located, five-star country club includes 19 tennis courts, 35 pool/spa complexes, two private golf courses, a fitness center, and distinguished dining in an early California-style clubhouse overlooking fairways, lake, and mountains.
A five-minute drive takes you to El Paseo, the "Rodeo Drive" of the desert, for sophisticated shopping. Fine dining and numerous public golf course are minutes away.
Our comfortably-appointed condominium has two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a California king-size bed (72" wide by 84 " long), cable TV, DVD player and its own bathroom; the second bedroom has two twin beds, cable TV, DVD player and bath. All linens, towels (including pool towels), and bedding are provided. Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and other household products are also provided for your use. And there is a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The spacious living/dining room looks out over the golf course and has a vaulted ceiling with fan, leather couches, 37 inch LCD TV with HD reception through the cable box, DVD player, and a dining table that seats six to eight. For Bridge players, there is a folding card table and chairs that can also be set up in the room. The kitchen has a two-oven stove and is well equipped with blender, juicer, coffee makers, electric mixer, and a host of pots, pans, dishes, and glassware. There is also Time Warner Cable High-speed Internet Access (requires an Ethernet port on your computer) and WiFi Wireless capability.
Eat breakfast (with grapefruit fresh picked from our own tree!), barbecue, and just relax in the sun in the private south-facing front patio courtyard! Or, watch the golfers and enjoy the view from the rear patio overlooking the third and fourth holes of the east golf course! Swim in one of the nearby pools or soak in the spa next to the pool! Shop, dine out, and play!
Everything you want to do is close by, yet you will feel far away in this beautiful, tropical setting!

I love the desert and, in particular, Palm Desert and Monterey Country Club. Monterey is so conveniently located to all of the goings on in Palm Desert, LaQuinta, and Palm Springs, while at the same time being a quiet, lushly landscaped vacation paradise. I hope you will visit my condo and enjoy your stay as much as I do when I can get down there.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
My condo is in a very quiet part of Monterey Country Club, back in the northwest corner of the club, away from the traffic noise on Monterey AVenue. The street the condo is on has condos only on one side of the street - the other side is the outside wall of the club that adjoins another country club - so there is not much traffic and plenty of room for parking. The condo is light and bright. Its cathedral ceilings give it a remarkable sense of spaciousness. The front courtyard patio is sunny in the middle of the day and is warm and delightful for eating breakfast or lunch out there. The rear patio facing the golf course is shady but wonderfully comfortable on hotter days. The adjacent golf course is two fairways wide, so you are not looking directly into the condos on the other side of the course; hence, the condo provides alot of privacy. You will enjoy the condo's quiet and private location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is very bright and sunny with 2 patios that allow morning and afternoon sun/shade. Julie has included many extra ammenities which make your stay very comfortable. The location is very private yet close to all the attractions in the Palm Desert area. We highly recommend!!!

We stayed at the condo for a week in early April and we absolutely loved it. It is clean, spacious, fully-equipped, and centrally located to lots of activities in Palm Desert. I esp. liked the court-yard and the many pools at the Country Club!

WE JUST RETURNED FROM UNIT 20724. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. THE VILLA WAS JUST GREAT. WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND PLENTY OF SPACE. JULIE WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH HER INSTRUCTIONS AND INFO ABOUT THE AREA AND RESTAURANTS. THE MONTERY CC IS A BEAUTIFUL OLD CLUB THAT HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF. MY NEICES WEDDING WAS ONE OF THE NICEST WE HAVE EVER ATTENDED. GO YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!

I stayed here in December 2004. The unit is fully equipped, and has very comfortable furnishings, especially the beds. I enjoyed the private patio with morning sun and grapefruit tree. Would definitely recommend this unit.

We come to Palm Desert every winter for a month. This is one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. It is clean and very nicely furnished. The location is great for all of the activities in the Palm Desert area. We like it so well we have already made our reservation for 2005.

We stayed in this condo over New Years 2004. We travel frequently and rent condos almost every place we go. In all of our travels we had never found a condo so well equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, as well as paper products. The directions and information within the condo also made things a little easier to learn how to use electronic equipment (DVD, telephne answering machine) Thanks for making vacation stress free!

We were looking for a place to escape the Winter cold and routine of everyday life. We were granted our wishes plus given more. We slept soundly, soaked up the sun, swam in the pools, attended live theater, took scenic drives, spent time at the Desert Museum (don't miss this, shopped in fabulous stores,and enjoyed delicious food in nearby restaurants. The condo is very comfortable, private and quiet. We came home rested with a desire to return as soon as possible. Highly recommend this condo!
