Great location. We took the T from the airport and this was very easy to do. We loved how central the apartment was as well as the neighborhood. There were several Boston guidebooks available in the condo, which was great if you didn't already have one. The condo was clean. The owner contacted us upon our arrival to ensure we were all set and noted he was available if needed (we didn't end up contacting him again). We loved the Fenway Park tour even though we aren't huge baseball fans. I wouldn't hesistate to stay here again if I was to return to Boston.

I can't say enough about this 1 br flat in the heart of Bay Bay. Right next to the State House and across from the Boston Commons. It is in a great neighborhood with great restaurants and within walking distance of incredible amenities. And only two blocks from two T stations.

Thank you for a great location to stay while visiting Boston! Very smooth transaction with no problems at all. Roof top deck is beautiful even in March. Loved all the Boston visitor guides and picture books – great to look at. We will definitely be back and look this place up when we come. Thanks again.

We loved our time at 21 Beacon St. The process was very easy right from our first contact with Jonathan. He was quick to reply by email and was very accommodating of any questions. We were given detailed instructions prior to arrival so we knew what to expect. The concierge staff were very friendly and always willing to give advice and have a chat to ensure your stay is successful. It was our "home away from home" and we have no hesitation in recommending this property for a vacation rental.

What a great experience! This was our first time using/living at a VRBO. We will certainly do this again, especially if the apartment is as nice as this one was. We agree with the others -- great location, a "don't want to get out" shower, and really breathtaking 10th floor roofdeck, especially in the evening. We are looking forward to our next visit to 3R,

We really enjoyed the location of this apartment. We were handy to everything. Caught the T from the airport which were very easy. We took the Trolley Bus Tour hop-on hop-off to get our bearings and that worked very well. Walked the Freedom Trail. Got to the ice-hockey game, our first ever. A great experience and of course a good win for the Bruins. Walked very easily to the "Garden". Yes, Whole Foods market is a wonderful place. (Cambridge Street, opposite to Joy Street).

This is the place to be. Very accessible. Beautiful run in the morning through historic neighborhoods and parks. Easy subway access. Short walk from amazing North End food with great bars nearby for a night cap. We had a fantastic tour of MIT. One of the best college tours yet. Spent an entire day at the Museum of Science. Watched a great games between the Bruins and Canucks. Whole Foods market is a great place! Wish we had found the first day. Hope to return!

1/1/12 New Year's Eve -- What a wonderful apartment in a perfect location for First Night celebrations! All of the concierges were very nice and helpful. We walked to Aquarium, North End, Copley Square and we are just a short T ride from MIT and Harvard. Our Xcountry runner found a trail along river, and that kept him happy. Many thanks for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

The apartment is walking distance from two transit lines and has easy access to the airport and the train station. We walked to the Aquarium, North End, Quincy Market, Copley Square and lots of other sites on the Freedom Trail. Easy access on the T to MIT and Harvard. Newly rennovated kitchen and bath are small, but well designed. The building staff is friendly and helpful. A quiet, comfortable apartment in a central location.

Had a wonderful time in Boston in a perfect location for walking and taking the T anywhere. Enjoyed a free concert @ the NEC, Museum of Sciences and the Children Museum. Nice pub close-by. The Myrtle St Playground looked like fun but it was raining by the time Matthew and I discovered it. Look forward to coming back again.

If you're visiting Boston, this is the place to be. The apartment is within walking distance to one of the most beautiful areas of Boston, the Boston Common. Another advantages of staying here is the convenience of being only three minutes away from the subway station, enabling us to visit areas outside of Boston with great ease. It was always lovely to come home to such a comfortable apartment. Although situated in a relatively busy area in Boston, it was not noisy and it was a very safe area to walk around. Thank you for letting us stay here and making the booking of the apartment effortless.

Wonderful time. Excellent food (Grotto, Union Oyster House, Marliave ($1 oysters). Enjoyed the Freedom Trail (walked up to the top of Bunker Hill monument), Museum of Fine Arts (Degas nudes), Science Museum (Pompeii exhibit), hockey game (Boston vs San Jose Sharks), MIT, Harvard and Haymarket (Sat-Sunday). The 7 day Metro pass for $15 dollars was a great deal. The JFK Museum was well worth the time. Shopped for foods at Whole Foods. The little market on the corner below us was great for wine. Took Metro to Quincy - John Adams house - well worth seeing. Really enjoyed the condo. Felt like home. Thanks for everything. Perfect!

Our trip to Boston as we expected: Full of history, great food (Union Oyster House, Gennaro's North Square in the North End and 21st Amendment around the corner). Fantastic Halloween in Salem (went over and back by ferry). I got a little sea sick, so be aware. Could not believe we had some snow when we arrived, but we were lucky that we didn't get much and the temperature went up to the high 40s and low 50s. Condo was great and meet all our needs. We would recommend to everyone.

This apartment was large and airy and in a great location for walking around Boston. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a great shower with plenty of hot water. There were good restaurants nearby and for those who like to cook there is a Wholefoods supermarket with lots of fresh produce about 10 minutes walk away. Jonathan, the owner, dealt promptly with our e-mail queries and the reception staff were helpful about using the laundry. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to our friends. Far better than a hotel!

A very enjoyable week. Location is terrific. Easy access to most sites. We walked lots, to the North End, USS Constitution, Back-Bay, South End and the Theater District. Such close proximity to Washington Street and major shops. Caught a train to Harvard and had a tour of the grounds with one of their witty student tour guides. Also caught a "Green Line" trolly to Museum of Fine Arts and Isabella Stuart Gardiner Museum across the road. We recommend a sunny day for Ms Gardiner's Museum as the lighting is very dim, not helped by a bleak day. The concierges were all most helpful and, our "host" Jonathan did his best to accommodate us. We will certainly recommend to friends who might come this way. Lastly, I would like to recommend Emmett's Pub or the lounge next door (same owner) as a good spot when feet are too sore to get down to Long Wharf or the eateries in Charles Street. Emmett's is just across the road to the left.

My sister and my first trip to Boston and not disappointed. We are glad to be 21 Beacon Street fans. This apartment is perfect! Location, comfort and excellent staff made our "home base" special. Our best little find was a closet single family restaurant in the North End called The Daily Catch. It lacks in looks but makes up in delicious pasta (black) and seafood. Yummy! Boston is amazing and people are so gracious and kind. Histories came alive here and I can't wait to share with my students. Awesome experience. Thank you, Jonathan Cathy, CA

Fenway Park is only a ten minute Subway/walk away, and we found that most of the tourist attractions were a short walk away. We were very comfortable in your rental and would love to come back next year Thanks again.

Jonathan, we enjoyed our stay in Boston so much! We were able to watch a fireworks show from the roof top (MIT turned 150 years old. Neptune Oyster in the North End was delicious -- lobster roll and oysters to remember. Grotto was a surprise, delightful as well. Red Sox won at Fenway. Weather was beautiful, place was comfortable and charming. Beantown proved to be more fun than Manhattan. Thank you.

Enjoyed our two weeks in Boston. 7 day T-pass for $15, a real bargain. The flat was well stocked, comfortable and in an excellent location. Thanks for responding immediately to our queries and your efficiency in responding and handling details of the rental. Avoid Legal Seafoods at Kendall T-stop - mediocre food and lousy service. Italian North End restaurants are far superior.
