The Building is reminiscent of eighteenth-century New Orleans architecture, and was built sometime before 1883. The apartment is on the second story and is newly remodeled. The "Kage House" is located at 120 Broadway in the downtown historical district and is less than a minutes walk to Main Street. On Main Street you will find many shops and restaurants, or just enjoy the scenic area as you walkabout.
The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed. The living room has a "Lazy Boy" queen size sleeper sofa with a built in inflatable air mattress.
Enjoy relaxing outside on the deck with a view of the Mississippi River and downtown area.
You will most certainly enjoy your stay here in comfort and with a bit of history to boot.

The Kage House is a very nice accomodations. It is two blocks away from the Mississippi River. It is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the deck and Barbeque very much. We enjoyed the historical sights in the Cape. We will definitely try to stay when back to the area. It would be great for a Romantic Get Away.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Tastefully Decorated and very comfortable - Beautiful view of Mississippi River that makes the price a bargin - Had fun shopping at antique stores and enjoyed unique restaurants within walking distance.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This beautiful home is in the perfect downtown historic Cape location. Many sightseeing adventure and shops to par ooze. The listing description and pictures were right on the money. The owner was honest & friendly. The house was spotless! I would visit again and recommend this property to others wanting a weekend away.
