Only 23 miles from world class skiing at Breckenridge ski resort on county maintained roads (4-wheel drive is recommended in the Winter). Enjoy peace and tranquility watching an array of birds and squirrels, and an occasional moose/elk or deer walk by, through two picture windows looking out into the woods, nestled in front of a warm woodstove fire.
Take a stoll on paths through the woods with whimsical features to catch your eye, and enjoy a beautiful sunrise in a clearing that overlooks the valley at the end of the path, where you'll meet 'Ol Narley standing proud and tall.

There's so much to do in the surrounding area! Winter/Summer activities include: Skiing/snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking, sightseeing and exploring, gold panning, rock hounding, fishing, white-water rafting, and boating. There's shopping and dining in Breckenridge, Frisco, Keystone, Alma and Fairplay and other neighboring towns! The 1890's South Park museum in Fairplay is awesome! There are tons of ghost towns and old mines and "shortcuts" over passes to other historical towns to explore.
Enjoy the gorgeous array of wildflowers in the summer, the golden mountainsides of aspen in the fall, and the majestic snowcapped mountains in the winter. We've got it all!!

Breckenride is just over Hoosier Pass where you can shop and dine in the unique surroundings of this Victorian world-class ski resort. Buena Vista is only an hour away with great rafting and snow-mobiling as well. It is a magnificent location.

My husband and I dreamed of owning our own cabin for many years. On a hope and a wish and a prayer, we made our dreams come true! It took us two long years, and a lot of sweat equity to bring our project to completion. But, it was worth the wait!
