Why the Owner Chose Dewey Beach
We loved seeing the ocean from the living room and master bedroom upstairs as well as the open feeling of the place. It is big enough to enjoy with our children who like to stay as well. The location is wonderful in that everything is within easy walking distance and we could park our car in the carport and not use it at all while we are there. Even the Rehoboth boardwalk is an easy walk on the beach where we enjoy browsing through the alleys with all the unique shops.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
After a walk on the beach in the winter, it is wonderful to enjoy a cozy fire in the fireplace and to just relax or even enjoy the patter of raindrops on a rainy day as the place is a comfortable and inviting spot away from the rest of the world if one chooses. The area has so much to offer for any activity one would like to do. Deep-sea fishing from the Indian River inlet marina or wind-surfing on the bay or just relaxing on a wonderful beach just steps away from our place. Dewey Beach is truly an all-year, unique place unmatched by any other beach resort area.

I grew up on the Jersey Shore and although I was away from the ocean for a number of years, I never forgot the wonders of the beach and its atmosphere. Dewey Beach is a wonderful place and when we saw it, we fell in love with the area. It is unique in that it is not over-commercialized and the town works hard to maintain its unique spirit of a true seashore resort.

In all honesty, I don't what could be done to improve things...The location is excellent, the three parking spaces are priceless, the TV's were all good and the place was neat and clean...Heck, I'd probably look at staying there if it were just me and another its such a great location!!! Everything is close, the Jolly Trolley picks up and drops off within a block. GREAT VACATION!

We had an enjoyable week at the beach staying here. It was an easy walk to the beach, as stated. I would just make sure that you know that Dewey Beach is a big party atmosphere in the summer, and this townhouse is in the midst of that. If you don't mind being surrounded by the partiers, then this will be a good fit.

There's the Children's Movie Nights on the Beach on Mondays, a block away on Dagsworthy St.; the Family Bonfires on Wednesday nights at Dagsworthy; the Summer Children's Theater at the Bay Center in Ruddertowne; the John Waples Memorial Playground on McKinley St.; nature and bird watching at Sunset Park at Dagsworthy St. and the bayside; and Monigle Park at Reed St. and the bay, a very nice spot for a family picnic.

this property is located smack in the middle of dewey beach, just a block from the beach and perfect walking distance to all the bars. the convenience store right downstairs is a great plus. 3 reserved parking spaces is great considering on street parkign can be hard to find. not to mention its a beautiful town house and not just a beach party house. we loved all 3 of the porches! would love to come back again

My husband, daugher, son, and dog enjoyed five days in this well-appointed town home. the kitchen had everything you could need. We definitely recommend this and hopefully we can do it again...

We stayed at the house for a three day girls' weekend. The house is very clean and comfortable. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get- maybe even a bit better than the pictures! I would highly recommend the house to those looking for a girls' getaway or for families. The bars and restaurants are very close, which was great- very convenient and no worries about driving/parking. The beach was only a block away which was incredible. Even off-season (October) there were plenty of restaurants open and people still on the beach. The owner, Carl, was wonderful to deal with too. He was always accessible which was a comfort to a first-time renter. Thanks Carl! Overall it was a great experience! We had a wonderful weekend and memories we will enjoy forever!

We had a great time in this comfy,close to the beach and all other amenities, beach house. It wasa good spot for my college kids and my teenage son, as well. I love waking up and seeing the activity and everyone on their way to the beach, just a block away. We were close to bars, restaurants and a short drive from Rehoboth. The owner, Carl, was more than great ! He was very helpful, attentive and informative. Would hope to stay here again.

What a great vacation! Plenty of room for a family with 2 college sons and their girlfriends. The place was very clean and roomy. We could walk everywhere since we were close to everything. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

My sons and their friends graduated from high school and were looking to do beach week in Dewey. My son had located a place that was too small and out of the way.So, I picked up the search and was fortunate enough to find this place. The place is huge, the place was clean, and it was just 1 block from the beach. The boys were all happy, and we (as parents ) were happy too. Thanks for everything Carl!!! My friends and I did girls weekend at this really nice townhouse that Carl owns, and what a great guy he is. We had a great time there and the place couldn't have been at better location.
