In all honesty, I don't what could be done to improve things...The location is excellent, the three parking spaces are priceless, the TV's were all good and the place was neat and clean...Heck, I'd probably look at staying there if it were just me and another its such a great location!!! Everything is close, the Jolly Trolley picks up and drops off within a block. GREAT VACATION!

Dewey Beach Summer

We had an enjoyable week at the beach staying here. It was an easy walk to the beach, as stated. I would just make sure that you know that Dewey Beach is a big party atmosphere in the summer, and this townhouse is in the midst of that. If you don't mind being surrounded by the partiers, then this will be a good fit.

Owner response:Dewey Beach, which was recently recognized as one of the top four beaches in the country, has many family oriented activities. There's the Children's Movie Nights on the Beach on Mondays, a block away on Dagsworthy St.; the Family Bonfires on Wednesday nights at Dagsworthy; the Summer Children's Theater at the Bay Center in Ruddertowne; the John Waples Memorial Playground on McKinley St.; nature and bird watching at Sunset Park at Dagsworthy St. and the bayside; and Monigle Park at Reed St. and the bay, a very nice spot for a family picnic.

this property is located smack in the middle of dewey beach, just a block from the beach and perfect walking distance to all the bars. the convenience store right downstairs is a great plus. 3 reserved parking spaces is great considering on street parkign can be hard to find. not to mention its a beautiful town house and not just a beach party house. we loved all 3 of the porches! would love to come back again

We stayed at the house for a three day girls' weekend. The house is very clean and comfortable. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get- maybe even a bit better than the pictures! I would highly recommend the house to those looking for a girls' getaway or for families. The bars and restaurants are very close, which was great- very convenient and no worries about driving/parking. The beach was only a block away which was incredible. Even off-season (October) there were plenty of restaurants open and people still on the beach. The owner, Carl, was wonderful to deal with too. He was always accessible which was a comfort to a first-time renter. Thanks Carl! Overall it was a great experience! We had a wonderful weekend and memories we will enjoy forever!

A great home for a vacation

My husband, daugher, son, and dog enjoyed five days in this well-appointed town home. the kitchen had everything you could need. We definitely recommend this and hopefully we can do it again...

We had a great time in this comfy,close to the beach and all other amenities, beach house. It wasa good spot for my college kids and my teenage son, as well. I love waking up and seeing the activity and everyone on their way to the beach, just a block away. We were close to bars, restaurants and a short drive from Rehoboth. The owner, Carl, was more than great ! He was very helpful, attentive and informative. Would hope to stay here again.

Great Vacation Rental

What a great vacation! Plenty of room for a family with 2 college sons and their girlfriends. The place was very clean and roomy. We could walk everywhere since we were close to everything. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

My sons and their friends graduated from high school and were looking to do beach week in Dewey. My son had located a place that was too small and out of the way.So, I picked up the search and was fortunate enough to find this place. The place is huge, the place was clean, and it was just 1 block from the beach. The boys were all happy, and we (as parents ) were happy too. Thanks for everything Carl!!! We will be seeing you again.

We were 2 couples and a small dog, and we stayed over the holiday week. It is a great place to stay- very clean, roomy, super comfortable and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this condo and would stay there again!

My friends and I did girls weekend at this really nice townhouse that Carl owns, and what a great guy he is. We had a great time there and the place couldn't have been at better location. Walking distance to so many places. Very clean with everything you need. It was so cozy, it was like being at home....Thanks Carl

I'm a recent graduate of Loyola who stayed here during our Senior Week. It is in a GREAT location, clean, and has everything you could possibly need. It's a block from the beach and walking distance to some great restaurants. Extremely convenient!! My friends and I had a great time! I would definitely rent again. Carl is great and can answer any question or concerns you have!

My wife and I have stayed at this Ocean Winds condo in Dewey Beach during the week of the Rehoboth Jazz Festival in October for about six years - both with the previous and current owners. Carl, the current owner, is extremely nice to deal with; very accomodating - more like a friend! We have enjoyed the stays tremendously. The condo is nicely furnished, well-maintained, clean, beautiful views, quiet (at that time of year!). One block from the ocean; fishing, swimming, beachcombing. Walking distances to restaurants, nightclubs, shops and attractions in Dewey Beach. Easy driving distance to Rehoboth Beach attractions, shopping malls along Rt 1, Lewes/Cape May Ferry, Indian River Inlet, Ocean City, MD and other popular destinations. We are never lacking for things to do, places to see or days to simply relax. Our highest recommendation is to simply say we've already reserved our week for the Jazz Festival in October 2009.
