Anchor Lodge located on the Southwest cape of Alligator Point, was built in the 1950's to escape from South Georgia to the soothing Gulf breezes. Currently, the fourth-generation of the owners are enjoying family reunions to the Point. The 3 bedroom house is on one level which is ideal for retirees, children, and those who hate stairs. Oak trees line the yard while the terrace with 50% shade allows for some great "therapeutic" time to relax. There are no hotels, bars, and other tourist attractions to disturb you. It's kind of like being in the country at the beach!

Anchor Lodge, Where Family Traditions Are Born...
Year Purchased: 1955
Why the Owner Chose Alligator Point
My parents chose Alligator Point because it was a very small private beach located close to our home.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The small, family oriented beach allows for a beach experience that is unique and will last a lifetime.
Owner's Map of Alligator Point
My name is Lewis Oliver, my parents built Anchor Lodge in 1955 as a summer home to escape from the South Georgia heat. I grew up spending many summer days at Alligator Point with my family and my own children and grandchildren have gotten the chance to experience the same childhood as I did.

You're very own kiahuna on the beach!! If you like looking off your very own private deck to gaze at the oceans crashing waves you'd love this house. This sweet beach home has every thing you need for a lovely trip to the beach, all it needs is you to make for a special trip away from home! You're very own beach home away from home!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
