The house is listed as having "everything you need", but on arrival you are told this is a "self-service house", you will need to provide garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, coffee filters (most places give you at least enough for your stay or to get you started). There was no salad bowl (or mixing bowl, yet there was a mixer and pancake griddle) and no baking pan. Under the sink were about 10 used sponges, but no clean ones. The dryer is old and takes 2 hours to dry one load, which we did not discover until the morning we were leaving - luckily we started laundry early that day! The rental agreement asks if you would like pool heat (which the owner recommends for Oct-April only - we were visiting in May so used the owner's advice and declined the POOL heat) for $25/night, but what is not communicated is that without pool heat your hot tub will also be cold. The owner did rectify this misunderstanding free of charge and we had a hot hot tub later that day (FYI - you will not get hot water unless you turn on the bubbles). The house instructions state that the house is still considered "clean", even if there are dust bunnies. We found more than dust bunnies. Although the house states no pets, it appeared as if there were balls of dog hair around the floor. There was mold on one of the window sills and long black hairs in one of the bathtubs (none of our guests have black hair!). The blinds would fall off when you open or closed them, most of which were repaired with duct tape. The pool, and especially the hot tub, were dirty, we found old bandaids on the patio and the pool screen was ripped. We removed a pillowcase from one of the pillows and it was excessively stained with sweat - gross! There was a closet full of towels, yet the instruction booklet states you will be charged for "excessive towel usage" - so don't use too many! And don't use the placemats or cloth napkins, as those are only for display purposes. The house did serve it's purpose and gave us a place to stay that was close to the parks (the location is great). The kids didn't care about the dirty pool. And being that the house was not our vacation destination, it was ok. But would l stay here again? No.

Owner response: Every Guest is given the chance to let the management company know of the condition of the house when they arrive and ask for them to clean the house if the floors are dirty or if they find dirty towels, dish or any thing that they will need, such as new sponge for dishes. The pool and spa are maintained by professional pool cleaners and it is cleaned periodically . It is stated in the agreement that the heating of the pool and spa; not hot tub, is an extra expense, since a gas heater has to be turned on. The use of the dryer is there for convenience and not to dry the guest entire laundry, but rather to dry occasional wet clothing or towels. In all we try to accommodate every guest with their requests. This one guest call us complaining that the spa water was not hot, but I reminded her that she did not order the spa to be heated. In any event, I asked the management company to turn it on free of charge. We truly keep up with the house and try very hard to listen to the request of every guest. In return they get a full house with less than a price of a hotel room. JQ

Great Rental For Disney

This place was a great choice to stay. It was our first time using VRBO and it turned out to be a nice experience. Very roomy, clean, and everything you need. Very close to any restaurant and most of all the Disney Parks. Will rent this place in the very near future. The parks are a great place to visit during the Christmas season!! Thanks Johnny!! Bill G

Absolutely Wonderful

Home was clean, and all items discussed were there including a few I didn't think to ask about. It is close to Main Gate Disney - entrance to all parks. Grocery store just around the corner, and shopping within 10 miles. It is the perfect location.

What a wonderful place to stay. There are more than enough good things to say about this house. The parks are extremely accessible. You are no more than 10 miles from everywhere you need to go. This trip we did Discovery Cove, Sea World, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and even downtown Orlando and no trip seemed far. The house resides in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty to do within 5 miles (mini golf, restaurants, shops, etc.) You also do not even need to get on I-4 to go to several of the parks. The game room in the garage was an excellent spot to spend time.The living room area was very spacious and the pool area was incredible. If we had any questions Ralph was always accessible by phone and even showed up to the house once within minutes of a phone call. Not only was Ralph hospitable but the home was extremely clean and the linens well stocked for our stay. I would recommend this home for families, college students, singles, anyone. The house and location provide something to do for all. Thank you Ralph and Quinn Family for a wonderful trip!

Great place for family group!

We stayed here for a little over weeks and we all had a great time! The house is really close to the parks, lots of place to eat close by and big department stores such as target, walmart.... Publix is also really close. The house is very comfortable with a awesome pool in the back where the kids had great time on those days where the adults could need some rest from the parks :) Ralph the manager was extremely helpful and always available when we needed. Everytime we called him he was ready to help us. He is very professional and polite!! Thanks a lot . We've been to Disney about 10 times already and this house I would go back in a heart beat. The only thing we missed was the grill but once we rented two houses in the same community we had the grill on the other one to use. :)

We stayed here for spring break 2012 and we had a wonderful time...the home was awesome and it was worth the money..it is located near tons of shopping and eating and is like 10 minutes from all disney parks....and the fact that it has a private pool and game tables was great.....kids loved every minute. We had a great time at this property! It was perfect for our families - 2 small children, 2 preteen, and 3 adults. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and having a washer/dryer available was a plus for us! We went to Universal and on a Carribean cruise - both were easy to get to from this location.

Poor service

There was no water when some of our group arrived on a Thursday evening. The water wasn't turned on until after 2p.m. Friday afternoon. The ladies had to bring water from the pool just to flush the toilets. The floors were dirty. We would not rent this house again.

Owner response: The water been cut off, was an error on the part of the water company. The water was turned on 5 hours after reporting it to the management company. There was water service when the guest arrived. Guests are encouraged to call the management company if the house is not cleaned properly. The guest decided to take care of the matter themselves. The house has a management company that takes care of the cleaning of the house . Rental agreement clearly specifies that no refund or credit is given for dust found under the beds or dirty floors, instead they should contact management company and they will clean and clear the problem. I gave the guest a free day of spa and pool heat for the trouble.

I highly recommend this place to stay, it is cozy and comfortable and have all you need to make it your home when you are visiting the parks. The owner takes care of every detail and the cleaning company is there to assist you in case you need it. My family and I had a great time there!

Our family has rented this vacation home twice, once in April 2007 and again in July of 2009. The house is in a superb location and close to all the Disney attactions, the main drag and many restaurants. The owners are happy to assist and easy to deal with. The management company was very receptive and also very easy to deal with. The house provided ample space for our family. On the second visit we had two families that shared the house and we still had plenty of room. The outdoor space is wonderful and all the kids really enjoyed the pool. I would rent this vacation home again and again. Thank you Johnny for hosting us TWICE!!

We rented for a family vacation to Disney. The house had everything we needed and more than enough space. The management company was more than helpful with anything we needed. It was a perfect distance from the main strip and Disney. The only small complaint was that the boxsprings were very noisey. But overall loved the place. They were always quick to respond to any questions.

This was a fantastic rental. The home was very spacious and anything you could want was at your fingertips. The pool and hot tub were great especially to help unwind after a busy day at Disney. Disney was a short drive away which was very convinient. The property management company were very helpful and prompt. I would reccommend this property to anyone!

A todos los amigos de habla hispana, que pudieran leer este mensaje, les recomiendo la casa de Johnny. Vista personalmente es mas linda que en las fotos. Pasamos unos dias inolvidables, la casa estaba impecable de limpia y tiene todas los elementos como para sentirse a gusto, en un ambiente confortable. Nada de lo que se ve publicado es falso. Cualquiera que tenga la posibilidad de pasar sus vacaciones en Orlando, se sentira satisfecho en esta hermosa casa, mucho mejor que un hotel y a un costo mucho menor. Tambien es para recomendar al dueño Jhonny, que es muy honesto y amable. Si va a visitar Orlando, no lo dude, este es el lugar para hospedarse.

We had a wonderful time! The home was perfect! Our children & grandchildren joined us and had a great time. The home is clean, spacious, close to Tennis etc. and walking trails...our dog even had a good time! It's proximity to everything was great too!

We have stayed in this home for the past three years for our annual February vacation. We rent the house with my father and find the house to be quite roomy for our family (four adults & two children). The house is always clean and they seem to add something new each year to improve the home. My father has dealt with the owner and found him to be very nice and quick with the refund of the deposit. I have recommended this home to several friends and will continue to do so. We won't ever stay at a cramped hotel again when we can have this beautiful house for less than a hotel room!

Just returned from a week at Johnny's house. It was bigger than I expected. We heated the pool as it got down to 50 degrees at night. The hot tub was a big help after those long days at the parks. You cant beat the price and comfort that Johnny's house will give, it was great. We plan on returning in the near future and will use this house again. My family and I sent two weeks in this house this past June. It was much bigger than we needed for a family of four, but for the low price and the area it's in we took it.The layout of the house is great, the pool/spa area is nice and big too! The Bball court behind the house was perfect, my son and I used it almost everyday. Disney is so close that from the right spot in this neighborhood you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom at night! By the end of our stay this house started to feel like home to us and it was very hard to leave. Johnny is very easy to deal with and always reachable.

We absolutely loved this home! Everything about it was perfect! And at a great cost! We go to Disney every 4 years and usually stay at a hotel outside of Disney and we paid more for a hotel than for a whole home with privacy! Also, Johnny was great with communicating and getting our deposit back. Very close to Disney, like stated, and we've been recommending this home to everyone we know!

We had stayed in Johnny's home in May of 2004.The home was absolutely stunning.We loved the en suite Master bathroom and the house was tastefully decorated.The washer and dryer was a huge help and the kids room very cute.What made this a rental like no other was Johnny himself.Very easy and eager to work with us and quite pleasant.We are hoping to get back there again real soon and This property is the only property we would dream of using.

We recently stayed at Johnny's home and were so thrilled with the experience. When we opted to heat the spa at the last minute, the property management company was kind, attentive, and SUPER fast! The home was meticulously clean, the supplies on hand were thoughtful, and the home was beautiful! We will NEVER stay onsite at Disneyworld again and are telling all our friends about this house. The kids had a blast and we loved the hardwood/tile floors (no questionable stains on hotel carpet here!). The bathrooms were beautiful and spacious, and we LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the highspeeed internet. The info book at the house had great information, and the location was just wonderful! The pool was very private and we had a wonderful time! I highly recommend the home for anyone travelling with a larger family! We travelled with another couple and they had 100% privacy in their suite, as we did in ours - never so much as hearing the kids in the adjoining bedrooms. Our deposit was returned very quickly and we had great communication with the owners as well as the local management company. I highly recommend this property!
