Well, I don't know where to start, this was our first time to the island and we were going for a little family time. When we arrived the yard was flooded and mostly unusable, it was rainy season so maybe that could be overlooked until it rained the next day and the whole yard became a lake. After the second day it rained the roof started leaking the front bedrooms had water in them the rest of the week. When we contacted Ryan he told us to us towels to dry it up. At one point it was coming in so hard my entire luggage got wet. The house was so dirty when we arrived we started cleaning the counter tops and washing the dishes and the dish cloth became black, it had not been cleaned well before we got there. The couch was so dirty we only set on it if we covered it first with a sheet. The beach is unusable for the kids because of the sea urchins. The beach chairs are also ready for the trash, completely unusable. The showers where a mess there was no water pressure and I ended up wearing my shoes in the shower. We stayed and tried to make the best of it, but I'm pretty sure that was our last trip to PR.Owner response: Unfortunately, there were terrential rain storms during your stay which caused severe flooding throughout the region, and water problems over the entire island. The house was not dirty. When it rains most of the week, everything can look pretty grim.

From the minute we walked into dogmans backyard out breath was taken away! I can't even put into words how beautiful just the back yard alone is! Waking up in the morning and hearing the waves crashing was truly relaxing. The lay out of the house was perfect for me and all my family. It was so open so we really got to enjoy each others company with out being crammed or hott. Anna and Steve were so attentive to whatever we needed for my rehearsal dinner we had in the back yard. We can't wait to go back to rincon and we will most definitely go back to dogmans! Thank you again Anna and Steve!Owner response: Thank you and Congratulations to you both! Glad you enjoyed your stay at the house. Hope to see you back soon.

WOW! This place is paradise and even more beautiful than the photos. We had a small wedding here at the end of April and this villa was not only an amazing place to get married, house our guests and take breathtaking photos, but top-notch surfing, paddleboarding, and snorkeling directly in front of the villa kept our group happy the entire week. With the gorgeous pool and patio, we hardly needed or wanted to leave the villa, but when we did, the Calypso Cafe was a 5 min walk down the beach and served the best food and Rum Punch we had our entire trip. The rooms were all beautiful and clean, the kitchen was well-stocked and had plenty of space for large home-cooked dinners, and the backyard was impeccably cared for during our stay. The owners even scheduled landscapers to come the morning of the wedding just to touch up the property so it looked its best! The owners, Anna and Steve were both very responsive, flexible and easy-going and I am truly thankful to have found this property. Our guests are still posting pictures and waxing poetically about our stay in Rincon at Villa Por Fin Dogmans and we are already planning a PR 2014 trip!Owner response: We loved having you! Congratulations and may you be blessed with many happy years together!!!. Anna and Steve.

We were a large group of 12 people who descended on the house in early July. Our group comprised 7 adults and 5 children; ranging in ages from 5 to 11. We have traveled around the world as a group, and we found Por fin Dogmans to be everything that was described and more. The pictures don't really do it justice, it's breathtaking. The customer service from start to finish was very good. Anna and her family were responsive to all of our questions and Ryan was available by cell or text at all times. The property was well maintained, the rooms were clean and well provisioned with linens. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a wonderful location with amazing views of the ocean. It's very close to many great small beach restaurants/bars. We did have a power outage one night late at night, and the generator stopped working, which caused one uncomfortable night in the house, but the property owners immediately called someone to fix the generator in the morning and the problem was fixed very quickly. Some of our favorite hangouts were Steps beach, Tamboo, The Rum Shack and The English Rose for breakfast. Again, I would highly recommend this house and property for families, for events for whatever it is you're looking for. I hope we can go back again someday soon.Owner response: Glad you enjoyed Rincon, our little slice of Paridise. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with potential visitors. Hope you can visit again soon David. Anna

This was our second stay in Rincon, both at one of Anna and Steve's properties. The properties (Sandy Beach and Dogmans) are great. I could go on and on but simply the fact that we came back a second time says it all. We brought a group of friends this year so we stayed at the larger house. They have everything you need - the water is great, our kids learned to surf, bars and restaurants nearby, we caught enough fish for two full meals, snorkel right in front of the house, etc etc. If you want to visit Rincon, give Anna and Steve a call....Owner response: Ah! Thank you Jon! Hope to see you back soon. We just loved having you all. Anna

My wife and I shared the villa with our wedding party and cannot say enough positive things about our experience. The property is just breathtaking, and as others have mentioned, photos won't do it justice. Beautiful villa, beautiful property, amazing location, and A+ owners. We had a wedding of 50 and had the ceremony and reception in the grass, overlooking the ocean. There was more than enough space for all our activities, and Steve & Anna were very flexible in allowing us to utilize the grounds. An alter was installed in the yard, lights were hung around the palm trees and flowers, and the kitchen was big enough for the caterer to prepare all the food. The end result was absolutely stunning. After the sun had set into the ocean, we lit sky lanterns on the beach and enjoyed a bonfire. Many commented that it was the most beautiful event that they had ever seen. Yeah I cried. The property is located directly on Dogman's beach, a pristine location for big surf and great snorkeling. Some of our friends staying in other villas complained about traffic/restaurant noises, but this villa is on it's own private road. All we heard was birds and waves crashing. The pool was beautiful and the hot tub was great for hanging out at night. Food in Rincon was an unexpected surprise. For the price and quality of food, we were all very impressed. Highlights included Tamboo, The Black Eagle, and the English Rose for breakfast. I don't think I had a bad meal all week. I would recommend renting a vehicle for Rincon, as the only walkable restaurant/shop was Calypso (which has a nice deck for watching waves and getting a cheap sandwich). To give some perspective, I've lived in Fiji, Costa Rica, Australia, and Miami Beach. I've used homeaway.com many times for vacations, and Rincon and this property are absolute gems. Rincon has some of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen. For the value, I thought this was a steal (especially for a wedding). And as far as the property: the bedrooms, living area, bathrooms and kitchen are all well-maintained and very comfortable. A very special thanks to Steve & Anna, who were gracious in hosting my family & friends. I can't thank you enough for this experience, for always being there to answer questions, help with trip planning, getting us in touch with the right people. Our wedding was one-of-a-kind, and we are forever grateful for that. All the best to you both, and hope you visit you again someday. -JasonOwner response: OMG Jason and Sara...you are supposed to be on your honeymoon!!! Thank you Soooo much for taking the time to review the house! We were so happy to be able to help make your special day a great one. We wish you many many blessed years together. Anna Love you guys! Por Fin Dogman’s is a beautiful slice of paradise in the heart of Puerto Rico’s most enchanting community. We came for sun and surf and to relax and Por Fin Dogman’s made it all possible. The home isn’t just a rental house – it had all we needed and then some. From meals on the gorgeous patio to a kitchen perfect for conversation while cooking, and plenty of bedrooms and baths for a group of any size, it is perfect and among the best I’ve stayed in in the Caribbean. Anna and Steve are wonderful hosts who answer every question but immediately make you relax and enjoy your time in Puerto Rico. Sunsets aren’t like this anywhere else in the world!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Me and my husband have never been to Rin Con and were AMAZED at this fantastic island oasis!! Had everything we dreamed of...perfect beaches....wonderful lodging.......shopping......close little tropical bars....and the friendliest people to rent from. All the amenities imaginable in this beautiful property. Steve and Anna made us feel like we were not newcomers and told us of all the cool places to check out.....the evenings were perfect in the hot tub.....we were able to grill ALL our meals.....and the beach was right outside the property which was really convenient for our children. Supermarket was really close and there were multiple restaurants that were "in walking distance"!! Was just the right size for our expanding family and we felt like we were leaving family at the end of our vacation. DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE. Cant wait to rebook again next year and cant thank Steve and Anna enough for making our vacation a dream come true! Was everything we wanted and exceeded our expectations......BEST VACATION EVER!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house is beatiful! However, the hot water is turned off in all the bathroom sinks. If you rent it during the off-season, be prepared to hear the owners, their dog, and bird outside of the back bedroom windows early every morning. I like to sleep past 7am. If u do also this place isn't for you. Also to make sure you're not loud after 11pm, the jacuzzi is warm bath water that turns off at 11pm. I could go on about the flood that soaked all my stuff, the mice, etc...., but I doubt I need to say anymore!!!Owner response: Jennifer, had you and your friends communicated with Steve and I, all these issues could have been resolved before they became a problem for you. Hot water was NOT turned off in any of the bathrooms as you stated. All bathroom sinks have hot water. There is one extra vanity sink in a bedroom [not in a bathroom] that could not have a hot water connection. We chose to install it anyway. We felt it would be useful for brushing teeth and applying makeup etc. Sorry you didn't agree. Steve is very flexible with the hot tub timer. He spoke to the guys in your group when you arrived and informed them that the hot tub was set to go on at 7, but, if they preferred, he would adjust it to go on whenever they wanted it on. Of course it was "warm bath water" by the time you got in it in the middle of the night...it was set to go on at sunset. All you had to do was tell us. Guests stay up late all the time. It doesn't bother me at all. I just close my windows and turn on the air...which is what you should have done if the normal daytime sounds like birds, dogs, or people bothered you. Had your group reported the broken faucet when it happened instead of just trying to "place it back on" as one of the guys admitted doing, we could have prevented that problem as well. The faucet was just a little over a year old so it was definitely not caused by lack of maintenance. I even gave you $100 to put toward a meal....what more could I do. Things of this sort happen with any home, anywhere. This is one of the reasons we either live at the house or have a property manager on site, which is clearly stated on the listing. Steve and I are very accommodating and love sharing our little piece of paradise. Any complaints, requests, and suggestions from our guests are taken seriously and addressed immediately. Anna Edited 4/12 Miss Dannie, our beautiful Macaw parrot was killed. I am sad to say that the sounds from the bird will no longer be heard. We miss you Miss Dannie! Anna

We stayed at Dogman's Beach on a return trip to Rincon, and enjoyed Rincon even better. The property had everything we wanted to make our week comfortable and enjoyable for our party of 8 adults. Perfect location in itself, and easy proximity to town for food shopping and other destinations. Our group enjoyed daily snorkeling, kayaking and scuba as well as fun dining at the property and in town. Only downside is horrible drive from San Juan airport to Rincon which was a 5 hour nightmare due to multiple accidents, but I'd do it again because once we arrive it's all worth it!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: If you can make a stop in NY, NJ, or Fla., try flying into Aguadilla next time. Continental and Jet Blue, and Spirit. Happy to have you coming back for a longer stay next winter! Have a great summer. Thanks so much for taking the time to write the review! Anna , Steve, Lenny and Miss Dannie.

Anna Thank you so much for the great week in your home! We had an all out blast! Hopefully, we were found to be good guests, too. Everyone fell in love with the place-we are already talking about coming back next year for the “anniversary tour”. Our group ran the gamut from 2-82 years of age and everyone had so much fun!!! Jeff has definite garden envy after seeing your yard. Aside from missing your back yard, we miss the Punta del Mar bakery and Miss Danny the most!!! The Shipwreck turned out to be our favorite place to eat and getting around was super easy once we got the lay of the land. Your son is an absolutely delightful person-he helped us out a ton and we appreciate it so much. Here is our new “family photo”... Thank you again for helping us make great memories! We had a lovely stay at Casa Por Fin. Your property is beautiful, and we even enjoyed our final night in the in-laws' suite, taking full advantage of the porch after the kids went to bed. We loved the attention to detail, from the house tiles to the beautiful landscaping...even the choice of pool lighting at night! It was wonderful to be able to walk to the cantina down the beach for evening cocktails, and explore all of Rincon from this central yet remote location. We highly recommend Organic Surfer Chef Pedro to come to the house one night....he cooked for us after the kids went to bed and we dined on the porch. It was heavenly. Thank you for a lovely vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

I stayed one week in Por Fin Dogmans beginning of Summer 2010 and the house is awesome. it easily fits 16 people and there is a lot of space on the patio and around the garden to enjoy the sun. The Picture really lives up to its promise! One little downside: the house is around 2 hours away from the airport and taxi drivers are unable to find the place. Make sure you group comes together and you know the way.Recommended for: Tourists without a car
Owner response: Glad you all had a good time. I know it is a long trip from San Juan. Some lucky travelers from the east coast, Florida, New Jersey, and New York, have the luxury of flying into Aguadilla. I kind of think the fact that all states don't fly directly to the west coast of Puerto Rico is one of the reasons some call it "The Best Keep Secret" of the Carribean. Because the streets in Rincon, and other small towns in Puerto Rico don't have street signs or numbered addresses like we are used to in the states, taxi drivers who are not familiar with the area may have a hard time finding the house. For this reason PLEASE...ALL GUESTS...BE SURE TO BRING THE DIRECTIONS I GIVE YOU and keep the phone numbers for Ryan or myself on hand so you can call for help if you do not have the directions, or if you get lost along the way. Also, keep in mind that GPS DOES NOT WORK well. Do not depend on GPS alone. Have your directions in hand or call us, we will email them to you. Anna

Por Fin Dogmans was the best spot to have our last hurrah together as a group. We had a total of 9 people with us, 4 couples, and this was the perfect place to relax. The rental house was so comfortable and has so many amenities that I rarely wanted to leave the house. We hung out at the pool all day, read in the hammocks, grilled burgers, watched the sunset on the beach, and then relaxed in the jacuzzi at night. The property is exactly as the pictures show, and perhaps even better in person. The owners have thought of every need you could have: kitchen supplies, pool toys, quite a few tables for a variety of places to eat meals. They even let us borrow a cooler for a day trip that we took. It was definitely a plus having them onsite, for any needs that came up (like running out of gas for the grill and asking advice for daytrips). We didn't feel that we needed to keep the noise down or get to bed at anytime because the owners live on the 2nd floor of the property, we didn't even hear them there. Rincon is definitely the place to be for a no-fuss vacation. We marveled at how affordable everything was. There are so many excellent restaurants to choose from just down the street from the house. We drove to La Parguera to see the mangroves and bioluminescent bay and went horseback riding in Rincon through a trail and along the beach. We are definitely coming back to Rincon and definitely staying at Por Fin Dogmans!Recommended for: Girls getaway

We shared Por Fin Dogmans Beach in April 2010 between my family with 3 kids (9-16) and my brothers family with 2 kids (16-21). The property is beautiful, just like the pictures. There was plenty of space to spread out, and great gathering places to get together. The house and grounds were immaculate. It was a great benefit to have Anna and Steve there to provide us recommendations on everything from dining to surfing lessons. We stayed 5 nights and everyone was disappointed when we had to leave. It is usually not real easy to have such a wide range of ages all keep occupied and interested, but there were no problems here. Playa Maria’s Beach House is a short walk down the beach for morning coffee or happy hour. The pool and hot tub were terrific, hammocks were used often, plants smelled great. THE BEACH IS RIGHT THERE! The sand was great for sand castles. Thanks Anna and Steve for a great vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just returned from a mid March visit. We love Por Fin and Rincon. There are so many places to explore on that side of the Island. We always rent a car, and have gone to the Zip Lines, Salt Flats, Light House, Agricultural Fair, The sunset cruise, The Whale watch and this year we toured the Pan America Games site and experienced the Illuminecent Bay. Each year we horse back ride with Pintos R Us. The Beaches are lovely and so varied. The people are so friendly, the food and water is safe to use. We love Steve and Anna. they truly make the stay wonderful. I lost a diamond ear ring and their gardener found it and they returned it to me !! We used to stay upstairs and found the new renovations to be lovely, very comfortable and as described. Falling asleep each night to the sound of the Ocean which is right in the front yard. Breakfast at the English Rose, a fantastic dinner at the Lazy Parrot, and grilling fresh caught fish right at the Por Fin. Thanks again. See you in 2011 !!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

All eleven of us who visited the property agree- everything exceeded out expectations. We were there for a week to escape the wintery mid-west and could not have been happier with our decision. The pool and pool area were well maintained and comfortable. The hammocks were a popular spot each afternoon for those in need of a nap. Anna and Steve do a wonderful job of making you feel at home! My trip was made even better with an engagment on the beach at sunset! We are currently planning our wedding at the property in October of this year. Everthing was just as the pictures look, in fact, it felt like I was standing in the main backyard photo when I first arrived. The house was very updated and had all the amenities I was looking for. And to make things even better, Anna and Steve were some of the nicest people I've ever met. Even though it seemed like they weren't even there, when I did have questions about where to go or what to do (being my first time on the island) they were there to help. We spent 6 nights at Por Fin Dogmans and it was absolutely fantastic. We had a total of 12 adults and 2 babies and we all fit very comfortably. Anna and Steve had a pack and play for one of the babies as well as a little high chair. All of the bedrooms were air conditioned which was great and very much needed since it was a little too warm to sleep comfortably without it. There are beds enough to accommodate 14 adults in an air conditioned room. There is also a futon in the living area but to my knowledge there is not an air conditioner (just fyi if you're planning for a group larger than 14). The grounds are absolutely beautiful as is the pool and hot tub. They were impeccably clean and continuously maintained while we were there. Like one of the other reviewers pointed out, there is PLENTY of room on the grounds for people to spread out and have some space. At one point, a few of us did yoga on the grass while others were in the pool, some were out on the beach, and still others were either lounging in a hammock or playing catch. We cooked meals almost every night we were there and it worked out great. The only issue we had was with the refrigerator and freezer. They weren't keeping things cold or frozen, but we informed Steve and Anna about it and they said they would have someone out to look at it. Besides that, everything was wonderful. Having access to a washer and dryer was also a huge plus, especially with two babies. All of the spouses/significant others in our family loved it so much that they want to bring THEIR families there. As for our family, I think it's pretty certain we'll be back. Anna and Steve, thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We felt very welcome and we appreciate all that you did to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. You may be hearing from us very soon to book another stay for next year. Good luck with your son's wedding!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thank you all! We just loved having you. Come back soon. PS the refrigerator is now fixed and working well. Thanks for your patience with that issue. Anna and Steve.

My family and I had a wonderful time in the newly renovated Casa Por Fin @ Dogmans. We had 7 adults and 4 kids in the house and we all fit very comfortably (in fact we did not use one of the bedrooms). We spent 5 days at the place and it felt like living in paradise. We just got back home and are terribly missing Casa Por Fin and can't wait to go back there. The description, pictures and reviews do not do justice to the place. You have to go there to experience it. I was just looking at the pictures and videos we took there and though amazing its nothing like actually being there. The pool was a big hit among the kids and the hot tub with the adults. We spent a couple of hours every day in the pool/hot-tub. We also used the grill almost on a daily basis. It was a pleasure being able to use the grill in December (considering we are from a colder place). And regarding sharing the home with Steve and Anna, I'm glad they lived in the house above. We never felt that they were above (since their entrance is from the front and ours from the back) which was awesome. But, when we had a question (for example when my infant daughter fell sick and we had to go to a doctor) it felt great to be able to talk to Anna and get a good doctor recommendation. Thanks Anna and Steve for graciously sharing your home with us. Look forward to being back at some point in the future. -AnandRecommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Beautiful family....great food! Thanks to all of you. It was a pleasure having you at the house. Hope to see you back real soon. Anna Steve Lenny and Miss Dannie.

Our wedding turned out even better than we could have hoped for! Everything went smoothly and the property was perfect and beyond beautiful! EVERYONE (and we had people there from as close as San Juan to as far away as Hawaii) was completely astounded by how beautiful the property, ceremony, and the reception was. Ryan and his fiance were there the whole time making sure that everything ran smoothly. He was so helpful and amazing- we all really appreciated everything that he did for us! The 5 days that we spent there were the most incredible days that we've ever had. All of our friends want to return to beautiful Rincon and we're already talking about coming back to Por Fin in the near future. It was too special for words! THANK YOU SO MUCH, ANNA! Please let Ryan and his fiance know how much we really enjoyed getting to know them and thank them for all of their hard work. My dream wedding came true and we have memories to last us a lifetime! We will be returning to Casa Por Fin- and we can't wait! Thanks again Anna, YvetteOwner response: Congratulations and many blessings for a long and happy life together. Hope to see you back to Rincon soon.

I joined my parents, brother, sister-in-law, nephews & niece for a wonderful Easter week holiday. We rented the entire house which was roomy and easily accommodated the eight of us with room to spare. The amazing & well maintained garden was truly the highlight of this house and looked even better than the pictures. There was plenty of space on the property...either for time alone reading in one the hammocks or for group meals around the pool and on the veranda upstairs. In fact, we loved the property so much we did not explore the area as much as we had planned. We did enjoy a great lunch at Tamboo bar and drinks at Calypso and explored the local beaches which were surprisingly varied. Anna & Steve live on the property but were extremely low key. They kept out of sight but somehow were always there when we needed them. My only suggestion is to update the kitchen equipment...we love to cook and the pots, pans & knives were old & worn. I highly recommend this rental and hope we come back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for your suggestion Ali. I will definitely replace the kitchen utensils when we remodel the place in Sept. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Thanks for taking the time to write. Hope to see you back soon. Anna and Steve

We spent Easter break with our family of five (three teenagers) and my sister-in-law, mother-in-law and father-in-law. The house fit us all very comfortably and we even had an extra bedroom for a guest that visited us for a couple of days. We had breakfast and lunch downstairs and dinners upstairs. The views and breeze upstairs were perfect... that will definitely be missed when Steve and Anna remodel the unit and only rent the lower level. LOVED Rincon, and LOVED Casa Por Fin. The property is amazing— we used it all, the pool, the hot tub, the hammocks, the horseshoes, the open space for throwing a baseball around. My husband and kids enjoyed the great surf right in front of the property and the rest of us enjoyed the swimming area only a very short walk on the beautiful beach. Steve and Anna were very gracious and accommodating. We would all love to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: It was our pleasure having you all here, and we would love to have you back! Don't worry, our apartment, which will soon be part of the new rental, has a great ocean breeze coming in through those double french doors that open onto the patio with the canopy of trees...the one where you had breakfast and lunch. If you want to come up for dinner....the doors are always open!! We loved sharing our little piece of paradise with you. Hope to see you soon. Anna, Steve, Miss Dannie, and Lenny.

My husband and I stayed at the Casa Por Fin Dogmans for a week with friends (9 total). We had the upstairs 4 bedroom portion of the home and one apartment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay for the relaxation in the pool and the beach. However, I was a bit disappointed with a few problems we encountered. The married couples that had the 4 bedroom portion of the house never could get hot water in the bathroom or kitchen. The water had no pressure so it always dribbled out the faucets. We took turns taking showers in the apartment below where the water was hot and the pressure was high. The microwave didn't work in the kitchen, but Anna was nice enough to bring us another one. The gas grill on our patio didn't work, so we used the one on the lower level. The plastic cooking utensils really need to be replaced. One of the chairs in the dining room was broken and the linen closet door was broken off the hinges. While we enjoyed our stay and Steve and Anna were very nice, I felt these were things that should have been taken care of prior to our arrival and the rental portion could use some updates & maintenance.Owner response: Caren and friends, Steve and I are so sorry for the inconvenience we caused you by having to use one shower. We want to thank you for being so patient. We were unable to get a repair man out to evaluate our solar water heater during the Three Kings Holiday, which is just as important as Christmas here in Puerto Rico. We have repalaced the undependable outdated system with an "Insta-Hot" electric heater for the comfort of our guests in the future. Steve and I hope you and your friends will accept our apology and return to Rincon and give us another try. Anna

My husband and I spent a glorious week at Casa Por Fin Dogman's Beach with our entire family - 12 of us in total. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting. There was plenty of room for everyone and we never felt crowded. The house was clean and the property extremely well-kept. The location right on the beach was fabulous - and the pool and jacuzzi only made our stay that much more enjoyable. There was always something for everyone to do - be it small children or the grandparents. My daughter is still talking about Miss Dannie the house parrot - and I wish we were still enjoying sunsets at the outdoor bar. We can't wait to come back to Rincon and stay again at Casa Por Fin! Thanks Anna and Steve...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Can't wait to have you back Gretchen, Roddy and family!! We really enjoyed you all. Thank you for taking the time to write. Kisses from Miss Dannie,&Lenny. Thanks so much. Anna and Steve.

I was fortunate to be a recent guest at Casa Por Fin Dogman's Beach, which my sister rented for family members traveling to Puerto Rico for her son's wedding. Our large group had both the 3-bedroom upstairs and the 2 bedroom downstairs units, which were both well-furnished and comfortable. When we were not out exploring the area, we spent most of our time outside on the terrace overlooking the pool and in the pool. The terrace was fully shaded by a canopy of trees, which was terrific, because the sun was incredibly strong. We also loved taking our drinks out to the seawall at dusk and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Rincon is a laidback place, and dress is definitely casual. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at Tamboo and at the Shipwreak, both of which are about a 5 minute drive away. The Calypso Bar, with great drink specials was just doiwn the road. We also ate meals in, having stocked up at the Sam's Club in Mayaguez. I'd advise anyone to make sure you get plenty of bottled water, as the tap water in Rincon is quite salty (you would nnot want to drink it). Anna and Steve's apartment is on the lower level of Casa Por Fin. They were always willing to answer our questions and to provide recommendations, and are lovely people who did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. I would definitely recommend Casa Por Fin to a large group of family or friends who want to kick back and relax in a beautiful place off the beaten track, but with all the comforts of homeRecommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: It was our pleasure! Hope you can return real soon. Anna Steve, Dannie [the bird] and Lenny .

Dear Anna & Steve, Casa Por Fin was just as described - possibly even better. We rented the villa for our family so that they could enjoy the destination wedding of our daughter. The house was terrific; the grounds were even more amazing than the photo's and descriptions, The wedding was a great success and all of our guests were impressed with the villa and surrounding area. We found a few restaurants that are worth the visit; The English Rose; Mahi Mahi, The Flying Pig and of course The Lazy Parrot. This is a place that we will always remember and would recommend to anyone going to Rincon. Thanks again - Lynne & JerryRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We wish Stacey and Xavier many happy years together! They make a beautiful couple. Thank you for making us part of your special day. Anna Steve Dannie and Lenny. Go Eagles!!
