We have rented at Burnt Store Marina for the past 5 years and the overall quality of this condo surpasses the others by far. The view is breathtaking in the evenings as the sun sets. The unit is completely furnished and amazingly clean. The owner goes above and beyond to be sure the stay is satisfactory. This is our second year staying in this unit and we will be sure to return in the future.

Two First Timers Spend a Month at Burnt Store Marina

We came to Florida to enjoy the warmth, quiet, and natural beauty surrounding Burnt Store Marina, and were not disappointed. The facilities are carefully maintained which makes it fun to keep up a good excercise routine with many pathways to choose from and an indoor gym as well. We liked the Porta Bella Restaurant at the Marina, but tried a new place to eat each week, mostly in the Matlacha and Pine Island areas. The Fort Myers newspaper on Thursday lists what is going on all the way from Venice to Naples. We went to a quilt show in Cape Coral and an art gallery walk in Punta Gorda which featured really good street music from the Burnt Suga Band. Cape Coral has an excellent farmers' market each Saturday. We have explored many interesting places in this area and I've shared just a few, but I hope you can tell that we truly enjoyed our stay at Burnt Store Marina.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

The condo has an amazing view from both front & back of the condo. You can see the sunset over the water from the back screened porch. The screened porch is a great place to eat your breakfast too. You can here & see the water from the master bedroom...great to put you to sleep. It's very serene. It was very clean & stocked with dishware, utensils, & etc. The pool & hot tub are very close to the condo. The pool & hot tub area also have a clubhouse area to play pool or watch some TV. The condo is in a great & safe subdivision. It's a great place to go for a walk or run anytime of the day/night. The golf course is very nice as well! It's in a great location to go to different islands (Pine Island, Cabage Key, etc) or cities (Fort Myers) by car or by boat (can rent a boat). We took a boat to different islands & to a few different cities. We saw several dolphins & other sea life. The area also has great fishing. There are near by beaches. There are local bars & restaurants (Bert's Bar & Grill on Pine Island, Red's Fresh Seafood House & Tavern on Pine Island, & many more) that are very good & a lot of fun as well!
Owner response:Burnt Store is a great community. Only 40 min from Southwest Regional Airport (Ft Myers) and only 15 min from Charlotte County Airport (Punta Gorda). Charlotte County Airport now has commercial flights with Direct Air and Alleigent Air to name a couple. Quiet community that is close to many different activities. Great weather, fishing and golfing.

Very clean condo on top floor, great pool and exercise facility. Great view over Charlotte Harbor. Wonderful community, very friendly. It seems like you are in a world of it own, yet 10 minutes to great resturants and shopping. We are going to stay again.
Owner response:It is a great community with many things to do. Attracts all ages, but is great for the mid 40's and above. Great golf on the 27 hole exec. course (they are bringing in 9 new greens the summer of 2010.) Best fishing in South Florida, Red's, Snook, Trout, Tarpon and many other species. The fall of the year is great time to come to Florida.

What a great condo!! We really enjoyed the views of the harbor from the 7th floor, the large pool and Jacuzzi area, and (on a rainy night) the movie room area where we could watch the game on the big screen as well as play a game of pool. The walking paths were wonderful, everyone is extremely friendly. For fun activities, we took a boat island hoping and could even see dolphins swimming close by the marina area. We also drove to the beach and enjoyed the unique little shops as well as some great restaurants. The condo was extremely clean and equipped with everything we needed for the week. Would definitely stay there again!!

Very nice stay, clean condo with quality furnishings. Grande Isle is a great place to stay and the unit comes with an Activity Membership for the golf course and the Activity Center, plus discounts for golf, food and pro shop.
