I can't say enough to describe my experience at Azul Profundo. What a lovely place. When we first entered we couldn't believe what was in front of us. I have never seen such a creative way of building a house. All open with the ocean there in front of the living room and the pool. The bedrooms were also incredible with a great view of Los Arcos. But the best was the staff. Roger and Margarita delighted us with their charisma and sense of humor. And the food... OMG the chef is gorgeous, she prepared 2 outstanding meals every day. Combined with Roger's drinks makes the perfect combination. You really want to spend most of your time at the villa during your stay. Everything you need is there... Thanks Simon, we'll be there again soon!

Beautiful Villa, Better than the Pictures, Excellent Service

Villa Azul Profundo is a taste of heaven! Even prettier than the pictures and an amazing place to stay. We've been at some spectacular villas but this was our favorite so far because it was huge, beautiful and clean/new. When you walk in, you look straight out to ocean. The view from every room is magnificent. It is right in front of Los Arcos, the famous landmark of Puerto Vallarta. Food was SO good and beautifully displayed. Helpers went out of their way to take care of us, setting up snorkeling for a GREAT deal and walking us down to the beach (a 5-8 minute walk). On beach there are stalls to shop, small restaurants, boats for touring/snorkeling. Mismaloya is a ways from downtown (Viejo Vallarta). But buses run right in front of villa to downtown and take only about 15 minutes to get there. A special thank you to Roger who was a fabulous host.

We had a WONDERFUL time at Villa Azul Profundo! It was the wedding that we've always dreamed of.  The villa had a perfect layout for our reception and the staff couldn't have been more wonderful.  Roger left no stone unturned and helped make our stay amazingly carefree.  Jorge and Laura were also so helpful to us and our guests. We are already dreaming of coming back, this time to just relax by the pool and sip Pina Coladas...Roger makes the best! Thank you as well for being such a valuable resource to us in planning our trip and wedding. You were such a pleasure to work with. Please give the staff our best...we miss them already.

I use that title because if I really let people know how awesome this place was/is, then too many people might take advantage of it and crowd me out of future stays, haha! I had HUGE expectations for this place, and I was blown away by my experience. The pictures cannot do the place justice, and so immediately you are pleased with choosing this place. Then the unexpected items like the sound of the ocean crashing below and the incredibly personable and helpful staff too things to an ethereal level. Although I am usually excited about all of the new places (compared with those already visited) I would like to travel, I undoubtedly will return to this exact place, and the sentiment was shared amongst all of my friends.

Our experience at this unique villa was one of great memories. The villa itself is set up with beautiful Ocean front views from all rooms. The bedroom suites were equipped with large closets, extra blankets and fresh towels. The large living area, the fully equipped kitchen and dining room are well set up and very comfortable, all very tastefully decorated. The infinity pool was fabulous and we used it everyday. I do recommend that you opt for having it heated as during our stay the sun didn't hit the pool till 1pm. The top deck above the barbeque area was great for sunning as it received the sun around 10 am. The open air concept of the living areas were wonderful, nice fresh ocean air. The villa itself is shaded and the house temp was very comfortable, we did not need the a/c at all during our stay, yet the temp outside ranged from 25 C to 30 C . The location was excellent , a short walk to Mismaloya beach and very accessible to Puerta Vallarta by bus or taxi.&nbs p;The serene beauty and peacefulness of the area was perfect. The sound of the ocean waves crashing on the rocks was very soothing, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend bringing earplugs as the waves can be heard all night long and are quite loud when the ocean is rough, I had no problems with the sound I slept very well but a couple people in our group could not sleep because of it (until they got earplugs). The villa has a menu of specialties for all meals and snacks that Lara will cook which helped us pick what we ate. We discussed with Roger what items we required for drinks, snacks and meals and he and Lara made sure we were fully stocked. They made trips to the grocery store for us every few days to make sure our food was always fresh. During our stay we experienced seeing whales, dolphins, stingrays, lizards, iguana's, pelicans, turkey vulchers, crabs, gechos, numerous other birds, and all kinds of fish all from the patio area overlooking the ocean. It was truly incredible. Last but by far not the least the staff were unbelievable. Roger is truly dedicated to making sure your every need is met. Everyday Roger made sure we had what ever we needed for the day and would go out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. I cannot say enough about Roger as he made our stay truly excellent. I highly recommend staying at Casa Azul Profundo as it was a great vacation in a truly unique peaceful house. Larry Schlosser Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada

Simon, we had an absolutely wonderful, perfect, and joyous time at your home. When we first walked in through the front door, one of the girls said, "This is the lobby, right?" At that point, Roger gave us a tour of the villa - with our jaws dropping with each room we went into and around every corner of the tour. The weather was perfect - it did not rain one drop while we were there. Jorge came by every day to keep the pool in clear, pristine condition. As far as Roger is concerned, I can not speak highly enough of how wonderful he is. That man has the charm, graciousness, and sense of genuine care that one usually only experiences in the world's best hotels or resorts. I must tell you that the two single girls wanted to take him back to the U.S. with them! Hell, I think my wife would if she could get away with it! Chuy was very clear and communicative on what the expenses for the food and beverages were, and she fed us excellent meals and snacks. Margarita was more behind the scenes, so to speak, because she was there to clean up the villa while we were out, but she did an excellent job and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed by any of us. All in all, we all agreed that we had one of the best vacations we ever experienced, and that is saying a lot Attached are some photos I took that you are free to use on your website. Hi Simon, Sorry, I had meant to email you earlier, but still catching up at work from being out that week. Yes, we had a great time in PV. Your villa was amazing. We loved the location, views and homey feel of it. It was even better than advertized on your website. The real treat was the staff though. They could not have been better. Roger is truly amazing and went over and above every day to make sure we were all taken great care of and happy. He is a great asset to your villa. Chuy was also amazing. She is a great cook and made some incredible dishes and could make anything that we requested. We ended up meeting her granddaughter and my girls loved playing with and spending time with her. Jorge and Margarita were also great and by the end of the trip, we felt like the staff was part of our family. I would definitely recommend your place to anyone and have already shared our experience with friends and we look forward to returning again next year. We made it home safely and are now having severe withdrawal from our time in Puerto Vallarta. I can't tell you enough what a wonderful time we had. Everything was perfect! . The house was absolutely beautiful, the view was spectacular and there wasn't a bad seat anywhere. We never got tired of watching the sunset. Margarita and Jorge did an excellent job of making sure the house was tidy and we never had any problems with anything. I think the first night my parents discovered the remote to the A/C in their room wasn't working and the batteries were replaced immediately when we informed Jorge the next day. Margarita always had all rooms tidied up and we loved the little creations she made with our hand towels and kleenex :) She always had fresh beach towels waiting for us every morning. Rodger took such good care of us and answered all of the many questions we had for him. He made delicious drinks for everyone and even made sure that I got to have the non-alcoholic version of what everyone else was drinking. He really went above and beyond and made our stay so wonderful. And of course there is Carlos, the meals were unbelievable!!! We looked forward to every single one and a lot of the time we just let him surprise us with his specialties. We had so many favorites we couldn't pick the best. No one ever got sick and we really appreciated how much care and effort he put into each meal. Even the presentation was beautiful! We really had a wonderful time and fell in love with Puerto Vallarta. My husband and I have always been partial to Cabo San Lucas but now realize we have been missing out on so much. We can't wait to come back and would love to visit during whale season. Again, we had a wonderful time and I can't thank you enough for all your help. You answered my numerous questions and made sure everything was perfect for us. Thank you for making our family vacation so special. We hope to come back very soon only next time we'll have a little one with us! Just wanted to drop you a note to say we had a wonderful time at Azul Profundo. It was more that we expected. Carlos, Margaritta, Roger, Gorge were all just wonderful. The food was fantastic. Carlos is not a cook he is an international chef and a very good one. They were all very personable and friendly. Carlos even taught us how to make flan. His was the best I have ever had. The weather was great and every one of us had a wonderful time. We will highly recommend you and this villa to all our friends. You and your staff made everything come together just perfectly.
