This is a beautiful, brand new home with a private pool, wireless internet, phone, air conditioning, and, most importantly, a very short walk to the beach. It's the perfect spot for the surf family or a group of couples looking to relax. All living quarters are high up on the second floor, making for a cool and breezy environment and a monkey's eye view of the surrounding landscape.
A large and well shaded terrace is the center of attention, offering a wonderfully cool environment throughout the day, and an ideal place to kick back with an Imperial at night. The terrace is furnished with abundant seating around a beautiful guanacaste table, and a double-wide daybed. The terrace has the feel of a treehouse, with a howler monkey corridor running right alongside of it -- at times they are only 10 feet away -- and the newly built pool just below it. The ocean can be seen vaguely through the refuge (enough to check the winds if you're a surfer).
The terrace, kitchen, and living room are all connected in one flowing space. A well-ventilated living room features vaulted, open beam ceilings, and very comfortable, tropical furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked and modern with a gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, ice maker, coffee maker, blender, microwave, and filtered water. Those who like to cook or eat in will be pleasantly surprised. A beautiful hardwood bar connects the kitchen and living room.
All bedrooms contain queen beds, air conditioning, personal closets, and safes. The three queen beds sleep six. Very clean, sleek, and simple.
For those who have never visited the area, Playa Guiones is the jewel of the larger area known as Nosara, a series of oatmeal-sand coves, famous for their idyllic beaches, consistent surf, and astounding biodiversity. The area offers an unrivaled blend of Costa Rican authenticity, modern luxury, and natural beauty. There are several excellent restaurants, an array of shopping, and many adventure-activities on offer nearby.
For those who know the area, Casa Concha is about 450 meters past Harbor Reef (heading away from Cafe de Paris). From the home, it's a very short 150 meter walk to the more relaxed, southern end of the main beach. Shell-hunting, surfing, and lounging are all steps away, as is the Nosara Yoga Institute, a short walk in the other direction. Location is everything, and this house certainly has it. Very short walk to the beach AND the yoga institute.
Minimum stay is 4 nights. Stays longer than one week include maid service. Additionally, we are prepared to offer whatever personalized assisstance or coordination is desired (ex: surfboard rentals, lessons, local tours, catering, etc.)
