The 800+ sq/ft Villa-style unit is located on lower level of the main property in the heart of Uptown Sedona. Entrance is on side of Mesquite Drive; family room has double sleeper sofa, desk area and dining. Large separate Master bedroom with a king size bed (deluxe mattress). Nice bath with shower. Full kitchen with gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans. Wake up to the whispering pinon and juniper trees singing melodies filled with birdsong...and enjoy the awe-inspiring starry skies before bedtime. Just bring your toothbrush! Unit has Direct TV with the movie channels and wifi.

Me and my girlfriend took a trip to Sedona and chose to stay at this very lovely and homey apartment! In response to all of the negative reviews, I do not understand where they are even coming from. The owner was very helpful and extremely kind in helping us with anything we needed! And the apartment was a PERFECT romantic Sedona getaway home for two! Very quaint and cozy! Definitely recommend staying here, I know we will again!

I had to respond to the other negitive reviews as this was not our experience! We loved the unit & it was quiet & clean! The location is terrific & the size for the price is great. The unit is very sunny & the carpets & windows were just cleaned before our arrival we were told. We had a family wedding in Tlaqueqaque & we walked everywere! What do people expect it's Sedona & we tought it was a great value. The bed was heavenly too!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I wish that I had seen the previous review before we made arrangements to rent the "Casita" in summer of 2010. We were dismayed to discover that we had rented a daylight basement with an entrance from an underground garage. The photos do not accurately reflect this property ---- especially how dark it is inside.The unit still needs work (e.g. holes in ceiling, paint splatters in shower, a strange stone platform in a corner of the living area, etc) and we echo previous comments about cleanliness and spoiled food. The bed is very good. We experienced quite a bit of noise from the owners home above us. The positives of the unit are the location and price. This experience has taught us to be more critical & questioning when we select a rental in the future ..... and to always check the reviews first.

This “Casita” is within close walking distance to the main downtown, and it was relatively inexpensive for this area. Otherwise my wife and I rate this among the worst VRBO's we have rented (out of about a half dozen total). It is basically a dark basement apartment with a few high windows that were so dirty it blocked most of the sunlight, and a front sliding door looking out to the garage. It was also cluttered with stuff, old food in the refrigerator, and not very clean.

My husband and I visited recently for a cycling trip, we had a great stay! Plenty of room in kitchen for making our own meals. Very quiet and safe neighborhood (no need to lock doors, we left our bikes in the truck overnight, ect.) We walked everywhere we needed to go. Owners were very helpful w/directions, wi-fi info, anything we needed. If we return this is definitely our first choice for accomodations!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

I will start with the positive. The bed was very good and we could walk to most places, the location is very good. On the other hand, this is simply a basement apartment and not a very clean one at that. There was a hole in the ceiling where a vent cover had not been replaced and the apt. was musty and had a disagreeable aroma. Anyone with respiratory problems would find this difficult. I awoke congested and coughing in the morning due to the number of old pillows and a large stuffed dog in the bedroom. We would not return. The old treadmill just inside the front door was odd.
Owner response:Sorry we don't rent to people with pets as people are allergic! The king pillows are brand new just like everything else is in unit including the bed! Our yard is over a half acre & full of Juniper trees & allergies are in Sedona as everything is blooming.The apt. is cleaned before each tentant arrives! This is an older house but thats what gives it it's charm being in Old Town Sedona....

Great comfy bed, nice place! Owners gave us great tips on area activities and we could walk minutes to all major places!! Quiet neighborhood but birds outside window woke us up early every morning. Small bathroom but adequate. We'll be back next year! Thank you!

We stayed @ this vrbo rental in March, some nights the temperature went below freezing there was no central heating. The owner had left a small electric heater which wouldn't heat the air 10 inches from the fire. Luckily we used about 3 quilts on the bed to keep us warm @ night. If you go there in summer be warned; there's no air conditioning. We could hear everything tht went on in the owner's house above us. For heaven's sake get some insulation!
Owner response:I'm so sorry, this was our first down review ever!! Central heat is on in winter and in summer many homes have AC, including ours (in fact it's mid seventies in the unit in summer)! Our weather has been beautiful this month & no temps were ever below freezing even in our dead of winter as we dont get those temps! Sedona is at 4500 feet above sea level and temperatures excursions are the norm. Only wish you would have told us & I could have shown you how to use the additional heater that can toast the unit to the point it get too hot!
