Lovely 1930's Knotty Pine ocean view cabin right in the heart of Oceanside. Kid and pet friendly. Located only a few minutes walk to the beach, this cabin comes with a fully supplied kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge. Hear the ocean roar in this very comfortable 800 square foot cabin in front of the wood fireplace. Low off season mid-week rates ( Sunday-thursday nights) are just $110/ night plus fees.

Very kid friendly with games, legos, other toys and beach toys.
Great for a family and sleeps up to 6 people.
Master bedroom has great partial ocean view.
Two small knotty pine bedrooms have a double bed and double sized bunkbed in total.



Unique tree-deck in a Sitka spruce tree with a unobstructed ocean view (use is at renter's risk).
If you want to go boogie boarding in the ocean, we have a large selection of full wetsuits for children, men and women ( ranging from child size 4 to adult XXXL), booties, gloves and boogie boards for use at renter's own risk.
Your well behaved pets are welcome with a small fee.
No smoking.
Kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, toaster, waffle iron, rice cooker and crab pot.
Parking available for 2 vehicles along the street of the cabin. There are several full time residential households directly adjacent, so we ask renters to please be considerate with the level of noise.

  • Oceanside is a quiet town of 300 residents with a restaurant and coffee shop. The Arch Cape rocks off of the beach in Oceanside is a National wildlife preservation site for largest colony of breeding tufted puffins and the largest common murre colony south of Alaska as well as the only northern Oregon pupping site for the threatened Steller Sea Lion. The areas' activities include kayaking, boating, hiking, hang gliding, surf, clamming, crabbing, fishing, tide pools, caves, bay, whale watching, seal watching, big sandy beach. Local points of interest: Tillamook Cheese Factory, golf, Three Capes Scenic Loop, Lighthouse, Tillamook Naval Air Museum, Tillamook Historical Museum and much more.   • We had a fabulous time at the Knotty Pine Cabin. The weather was gorgeous and we spent most of our time at the beach, but the cabin was cozy and comfortable. I imagine it is a great place to stay on stormy winter nights. My son really enjoyed all of the toys, and we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, as we prepared all of our meals there. We'll definitely be back!

  • I've been back to the "rat race" for 3 wks.now and have nearly forgotten my heavenly 5 days at "knotty pine"! I must say that I expected a bit roomier space(even tho I read the dimensions beforehand)but it took only moments to"personalize"the small but cozy cabin and Heaven it was!!! My comments must emphasize how warm and helpful the owners are. It surely makes a difference to me that I am treated well! Can't say enough about the deck...that's where we spent MOST of our time. Thank-you Rory and Lisa, for your hospitality and the gentle roar of ocean waves. One suggestion(for safety)perhaps a rubber mat for the shower. My group found it a bit slippery in there.

  • We had such a marvelous time. This cabin was very cozy and had everything a person needs. The view is fantastic, the master bed was incredibly comfortable, and it's in a quiet neighborhood. We happen to love lots of knotty pine and this cabin has lots of it. There are many wonderful hiking trails within a short distance of the cabin. We happen to be hikers and the weather was fantastic so it was a great time all the way around. Hated to leave! Melinda & Lloyd Brown

  • The cabin was pefect. The beds were very comfortable, and toys were wonderful! Our children had a lot of fun outside in the tree house as well. The beach is a very short walk, as well as dining. The views were stunning and the wood stove was toasty! Our stay couldn't have been better!

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Oceanside & this sweet little cabin! It is well stocked & very “cozy.” You should expect 2 very small rooms & one nice sized. The beds are so comfy! Having wood cut & kindling ready to go was a great added bonus! A TV in the master room would be the icing on the cake!

  • Oceanside is a such a lovely beach to visit and the Knotty Pine beach house was a perfect retreat for my husband and I. We really enjoyed soaking up a few rays of sun and the view of the ocean from the living room and deck. The kitchen was fully equipped with spices, recipe books, and serving ware - we just loved the red dining room table. We would visit this house again in the future, even in the winter to watch a few movies and enjoy the warmth of the woodstove.
