  We just returned from our mother/daughter beach trip. Our condo was so nice. The room overlooked the bay. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony and watch the pelicans sitting on the posts in the water, looking for their next snack. The condo was clean, nicely furnished and we had everything we could possibly need. The beds were nice and soft, a must for me. Thank you so much for sharing your unit, we will be back!

  My wife, 16 month old son and my parents returned from a long weekend at the Gulf Shores Surf and Raquet Club. We found the condo to be very nice and accomadated us nicely. Robert was very easy to deal and upon searching vrbo, priceline, hotwire and other websites his prices was the best! I would recommend this condo for anyone wanting a nice place to stay and not break the bank. Matthew

  We love Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club!!! There is so much to do for people of all ages, young and old. The complex is always clean and well kept, and the staff friendly and knowledgable. Robert and Dee's condo is just beautiful; plenty of room and chairs for everyone. There is also a lot of storage areas to shove away all of the luggage and boxes when not needed. We just love the Master bedroom, and having 2 bathrooms made all the difference with 5 of us. The condo was very clean, and the kitchen was set up with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Early morning sitting on the balcony watching the sun rise over the lagoon was a wonderful way to start our days. A big THANK YOU to Robert for answering all of our questions promptly, and working with us to set up this last minute family vacation. We'll definitely be staying there again!!

  The owner of the unit was great and easy to work with. Treated us as if they knew us. The unit was as described and then some. The grounds were great and clean and had a safe feeling about them. Loved the keyless entry to the room. Plan on making this a vacation location and staying in this unit for years to come. We have 2 children, 9 and 13, and they loved the pool and tennis courts. I loved fishing off the docks in the morning and evening. So quite and relaxing that I actually felt like i had a vacation and not just on the run.

  Robert: I tried to leave a review, but I don't know if it went through or not. It kinda looked like my computer stopped working! Anyway, we really enjoyed our time there and the condo was still very nice and well-appointed. The weather didn't cooperate, but a rainy day at the beach is still much better than a sunny day at home! We received the deposit back almost by the time we returned home! Thanks for all you did to ensure that our time in your vacation home was wonderful! Mary and David TGIF...Today God Is First!

  This is a great unit. Very nice and clean. Well organized. We left it, the way, we found it, organized and clean, because it is really a nice place. Owners worked with us above and beyond to insure a good price. It sits on the west side so the intense sun and heat don't bother you in the afternoon, on the balcony overlooking the pool and Lagoon, after long days on the beach. We did have problems with security at the resort. Had a few things vandelized and things taken from vehiles and boat. Reported problems to security and front desk. No reports were filed. I've been staying there for five years. This was the first time we ever had any problems with anything. Owners should beware of who they rent to. There are lots of people who are return renters. Treat them right to keep this place nice and secure. I was very glad to see the same pool man. He is such a friendly and nice guy. Does a wonderful job keeping the pool area clean and organized. Security is new. They should try and keep the same guy there as much as possible. these guys were all unfriendly and disappeared at night. unable to ever find them. Even went as far to hang towels on the rails which is suppose to be a no-no. Never got there attention. Find a new conpany or hire some one on a more permanent basis, who knows the facility. We along with three others lost over $400.00each of stuff out of vehicles and boat vandelism. Security was not doing there jobs.

  We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful, clean condo. My husband and I enjoyed much needed family time with our daughter and my sister. The condo was so quiet and we really enjoyed the pool area. We will certainly visit this condo again!

  We loved the condo! We traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids (1, 3, and 7). The living room furniture and dining table were newer than what we've been used to at GSSR and very comfy. The bedrooms were fairly roomy- we had enough space to set up a pack and play in the 2nd bedroom next to the bed. Plenty of clean linens, towels, and pillows provided. The comforters on the 2 beds were nice and soft- not the scratchy, cheap material you usually find in a condo. Kitchen was very well equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils you could ever need during your beach stay. Owners also stocked all of the essentials I usually have to buy- dish soap and dishwashing detergent, paper towels, etc. Fast wireless service, great A/C. Wonderful view of the lagoon. And as always, the facility itself is great- pool is cleaned daily, great hot tub, easy walk across the road to beach. Only a 5 minute drive to the main part of Gulf Shores and around 15 minutes to the restaurants, etc. in Orange Beach. We really enjoyed eating at the Gulf Shores Steamer in Orange Beach and the usually Lamberts in Foley. Owners were great, e-mailed to let us know that our deposit is on its way back and we just got home yesterday! Overall great experience, I would recommend this condo to anyone and we definitely plan on returning next year.
