This quiet, bright and newly renovated apartment is located at the beginning of the “rue de la Roquette”, a lively street between the place de la Bastille and the Marais.
This apartment of 340 sqft has been entirely renovated in 2008. It has a living room, a modern US kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom.
Fully equipped, the kitchen includes four vitro-ceramic burners, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and washer/dryer.
There are all necessary utensils.
The living room has two large windows overlooking a quiet courtyard. It has TV cable, DVD player,free wifi, an extension table, four chairs, a double sofa bed.
There is one bedroom with French king-size bed (160 x 200 cm) and large wardrobe with a mirror. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, bathroom cabinet and a toilet.
The apartment is situated at 50m from the historical "Place de la Bastille" where you can see the "Genius of the Liberty" and the huge and modern "New Opera". On this place you can find find restaurant, cafés, metro and bus. This area is full of great restaurants. Nearby “Rue de Lappe” is lined with some fun cafés.
From the place de la Bastille you can go, by walk to the “Marais Area” (about 2 mn by foot), the place of the royal residence in the 17th century, by example in the “Place des Vosges” or in the “Ile Saint-Louis”(5 min), take a walk to the “Promenade Plantée” (a lovely rooftop walkway) or to the new Marina, the port de plaisance de l'Arsenal.
You could equally take many Bus (87, 20, 91, 86, 65, 76, 69) or Metro (1,5,8) to get across the capital. Every Thursday and Saturday morning, there is the large outdoor market on Boulevard Richard Lenoir.
