Everything you need for a getaway. I’ve never rented a house where linens and towels were provided, along with soaps, paper goods, coffee filters, salt and pepper! The house was very clean. The layout of this house is wonderful for 2 couples, there are 2 bedrooms with baths attached which worked so well for us, also a third bedroom with a double bed, not bunks as pictured. There was plenty of room and seating for all, furnishings seemed brand new, definitely not old and dingy. I loved the sun porch with the heater. Everything was in good repair and working fine. It’s good to note that the river is across the little lane in front of the house and the fire pit is there also. There is a beautiful view in the front, little in the back of the house but a deck and the side of the hill, it is very private. It looked possible to swim in the river in front of the house and the tubing possibilities sound fun! We did go hiking in Cacapon State Park, about a half hour away. Stopped at the Panorama Restaurant for lunch before arriving, the service was great and the view was breathtaking. The description fits exactly, with the exception of the bed in the 3rd bedroom. Berkley Springs Cottage Rentals could not have been more accommodating and informative. I would highly recommend this cottage and Berkley Springs Cottage Rentals!Owner response: Heron's Rest is indeed a great location on the Cacapon River. We are always happy to hear that our guests had a great experience in Berkeley Springs from recreation and food to accomodations. We hope to see you again!!
