Gulf Front Luxury Condo at Dunes of Seagrove
Year Purchased: 2002
Why the Owner Chose Dunes of Seagrove
With the advantage of having spent considerable time in the Destin area over many years we recognized certain areas and properties that have exceptional advantages. Seagrove and Dunes of Seagrove met these criteria.
Seagrove is one of the “Beaches of South Walton” communities on 30A. 30A has its own personality with an eclectic culture of restaurants, shops, boutiques and art that is inspirational.
Dunes of Seagrove is tucked away directly on the Gulf between Eastern Lake and Deer Lake State Park.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Dunes of Seagrove provides an escape from the crowds, yet it is close enough to a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment options. This unit is perfect for a couples retreat with king beds in both bedrooms and the second bedroom has a private balcony; great for those love-birds to enjoy. With a bunk room it is also great for kids.
There is so much to do on 30A and with Hwy 98 now 4-lane it opens up everything in Destin.
Seaside created New Urbanism, model for towns across America. Centered around town square with outdoor amphitheater: restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and more. Featured in "The Truman Show".
The Red Bar and Picolo’s Restaurant: live Jazz Music and great food. A local favorite, but don’t be surprised to spot celebrities. A funky place where everybody chills. Check out Grayton shops.
Located in Sandestin on the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay features an array of boutiques, eateries, and nightlife. There are frequent outdoor festivals and special events for the entire family.
Grand Boulevard is a distinctive town center offering exclusive shops and great places to dine.
Northwest Florida’s premier outdoor lifestyle center. The 56 acre center is anchored by Bass Pro Shops, Belk and Rave Motion Pictures 14-screen stadium style movie theater.
“World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” - Florida's largest fishing fleet: deep sea, off shore, bottom fishing. HarborWalk Village: great restaurants, nightlife, shopping, fireworks, outdoor festivals.
With more than 40 Water attractions and an Adventure Park, Big Kahuna’s offers something for every member of the family. You can’t do it all in just one day! Great for the kids and the kid in us all.
1 million square feet of shopping and entertainment including the best beach food and music at Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville, Raggae music and Island cousine at Raggae J's Island Grill, live country music all day at Tootsies Orchid Lounge, trivia, food and non-stop sports at Buffalo Wild Wings and much more await you at Pier Park
Owner's Map of Dunes of Seagrove
We Love Seagrove...We are Angie and Don Bennett and currently live north of Atlanta. We look forward to moving to Florida someday, but until then we visit whenever we can. Don lived in the Destin area in 1960 and we both vacationed in the area for many years until our first condo was reserved pre-construction in 1994. Since then our love of the area compelled us to invest in additional properties. Don is very active in the Destin area and is the founder of "Community Association Presidents of the Emerald Coast" (CAPEC), an organization striving to make the Destin area even better for property owners and their guests. Don is also a member of Citizens for Healthy Beaches working to make the world's best beach even better.
