  The house was perfect for the 7 of us (grandparents, 3 adult children, and 2 grandkids – ages 4 and 6). Grandkids loved the pool. If we had known beforehand how much they would love the pool, we would have set aside one day to recover at the pool from 8 days at the parks. It’s a beautiful house. We can’t recommend this house enough – it’s just great!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cooks house. Took our granddaughters to Disney World and, while they had a good time at DW, they could not wait to get in the pool every day. Would stay there again and would highly recommend.

  The Emerald Palace was a great choice for our family of six. The community has a gated entry and the home has an easy-to-use security system. The kitchen and baths are well-appointed. The home was clean and maintained very well, the pool and hot tub were very welcome after long days on our feet! The home is situated so that there is a good bit of privacy in the pool area. The beds were comfortable, and the home overall felt luxurious. The owners were very easy to work with, returned our security deposit promptly, even sent gifts to the children in our party. It was a very enjoyable experience.

  Our hosts(Debra/David) could not have been more attentive in providing our family with an enjoyable/relaxing vacation during our recent week visit to their beautifully decorated/clean home in emerald island resort..the house was well equipped with everything available from kitchen utensils to DVDs for the children, the only thing missing was the food :) The gas grill and private pool was enjoyed by all after a busy day in the parks...the proximity to the different parks could not of been any better and as an added bonus some of us enjoyed a few days of golfing at some wonderful local courses. If we are fortunate enough to be able to travel to Florida again next year, we would not hesitate in making this OUR home again for our stay.....

  We had a wonderful stay in the house. It was SO clean and well organized. The house is very close to the parks. A quick drive and we were parked and enjoying Disney World. David and Deb are fantastic hosts. They have thought of everything you could need during your visit. We had plenty of space for our five person family to spread out. The pool was great and we used it every evening and one cold morning. The heated pool gave the kids a chance to get out energy (not sure how they had any left) and parents to relax. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close by too. We would have liked to have had one more day just to enjoy the house, pool, and resort amenities. The generous gifts and surprises left for the family were a real treat. I would highly recommend staying off property and in this rental home. It was easy to book the reservation and have any questions answered.

  What a beautiful home to spend a vacation in! We had a wonderful week in Orlando and honestly, this house was our favorite part. Bringing the kids home after a full day at Disney was made pleasant and relaxing by being able to hop into the heated pool and jacuzzi. (It also made it much easier to leave - "hey, you guys ready to go play in the pool?" "YEA!!") The house itself is beautiful and spacious and is perfectly located. I loved being able to look out the patio door to see Florida greenery all around me. Sitting in the jacuzzi made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise...oh, wait!...I was! ;) The owner went out of her way beforehand in sending us all sorts of info and Disney prizes for the kids. She was easy to talk with and was always ready with information that we needed. The house was also well-stocked with kid's movies, books and toys so we had plenty to do when we weren't at Disney or in the pool. Everything was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was also well-stocked (even with a Mickey Mouse cake pan - perfect for my son's ninth birthday!) and we were so sad to leave. Loved, loved, loved this house! I highly recommend this property!

  We stayed in this lovely home with our two teens, two toddlers, and our son and his wife, for a week after our cruise at the end of December, 2012. It was absolutely perfect! On a previous trip to Disneyworld we had stayed at the All Sports Resort, a Disney property. What a difference! This home was no further to drive than the hotel was, but for a small fraction of the price, we had a beautiful four bedroom, three bathroom house, with it's own swimming pool, and every single amenity you could possibly think of. Deb was great to work with- she even sent the kids presents before we came! When we arrived, the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with presents for all of us under the tree. So much space to spread out in was great, with the two little ones, and she had thoughtfully provided a crib, as well as a stroller for us to use- a double stroller, which saved us 31 dollars a day in rental fees. This home is really nicely decorated, with a fully stocked kitchen- even down to a sewing kit, which we took advantage of. There are spices, a great tea selection, and more. I cannot say enough about how thrilled we were with how we were pampered during our stay. I cannot recommend this rental property highly enough. We would love to stay here again!

  This house was perfect for our stay. It is immaculately clean and very well maintained. You can tell the home was well thought out and a lot of care has been put into the design and decor. We always felt safe and secure there - not only is it in a gated community, but it also has an alarm system and safety gate around the pool. The house is also stocked with just about anything you could ever need. It is very close to shopping and all of the theme parks. It was nice to have a short drive back after a long day at the parks. It was so relaxing to enjoy the pool after a long day of walking too! I can't say enough about this home and the owner! Deb is very kind, thoughtful and so helpful! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

  My wife and our two children ages 6 and 9 stayed in this property during our Disney trip. We found our experience to be excellent from our dealing with the owner through our stay. The owner's gifts to the kids was a nice touch. The house is very spacious, clean nicely decorated and full of amenities: the description on the property was very accurate. The house will easily accommodate 8 comfortably. We love the heated pool and the jaccuzzi. There are also great facilities in the club house which is available to residence of this gated community. Our only regret is we were at the Disney theme parks for most of the days and we did not make use of the amenities to their full extent. We found our travels to the Disney theme parks, the nearby outlet mall and restaurants easy to get to from the property but you do need to drive (we heard about a bus service but we did not consider the option seriously enough to explore it). Our only caution for guests who intend to visit the theme parks daily is to set their expectations realistically because this is not a theme park hotel or hotel adjacent to the theme parks (nor did it advertise itself that way) so expect about a 15 minute drive to the gate and the usual event style parking, but generally, we found everything to be hassle free. We would definitely recommend this property to families and elderly folks. Lastly, the staff at the gate is very courtesous also and give you a feeling of confidence about the safety of your stay.
