We visited the cabin in Pagosa Springs in September 2009 and had a wonderful time. The cabin is clean, cozy and well-appointed. The property is absolutely outstanding. We spent almost every waking minute outside, both on the deck and exploring the grounds. At night, we enjoyed sitting out back and looking at the incredible number of stars. It was so quiet and peaceful: exactly what we needed during our vacation from the city. This property was also convenient in its close proximity to countless trails for hiking and other outdoor activities. We also enjoyed watching and listening to the wild life that abounds in the area. The many local magazines and brochures kept in the cabin were helpful for finding maps and information about local activities to try and areas to visit. This beautiful cabin is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in a setting that feels almost untouched by time. We would definitely recommend it to others and hope to come back ourselves someday.

One of the best family vacations we have had. The cabin is in a beautiful location and very quiet. Mornings were peaceful and cool. We loved seeing the night skies. We forgot how many stars there are when you live in an area of so much light polution. The cabin was a great place to relax, unwind and forget all the craziness of day to day got to work life. Thanks for the refresher.

We absolutely LOVED this house! We really enjoyed the deck where we ate supper quite a bit. There were two buck mule deer who came to visit with us while we were eating one night. My kids love wildlife so that was a big hit! The two bathrooms was a plus for our family, the kitchen/dining/living room area was great. Everything about this home was perfect for our needs. Thank you Ken and Sandy for sharing your home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our vacation.

We had three in the cabin for spring break and had a blast. The acomadations were great, huge kitchen two bath two bed, pull out couch. When you used to sleeping however you fit this place was perfect. we had the best of both worlds spring in the lowlands and snow in the high. Thanks. Cale Young

We had a wonderful time in Pagosa Springs the 2nd week of June. Hiked V-Rock & Turkey Creek trails, explored Coyote Creek behind ranch, horseback ride up the West Fork to Rainbow Hot Springs, another ride on 8-mile Mesa, a little fly-fishing, soaking in the Pagosa Hot Springs, Thursday night rodeo, & other activities. Cabin was a great place to stay! Lots of birds & wildlife, cooked on the gas grill, cozy fireplace, and great views.

We rented this cabin for our hunting trip in October 2008. It was a great place to stay. We had a successful hunt and were able to come into the cabin and build a nice fire to kick back and enjoy. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

I spent four days last summer at the cabin. It has fabulous views from every window. My favorite part was the covered porch. I sat and watched the birds, looked at the glorious mountains, and drank my morning coffee. The two bathrooms and great kitchen are a definite plus. It was far enough away, but not too far, from town that I really felt like I was in the wilderness. I want to go back in the winter so I can use the fantastic fireplace!
