Sue and Fred's place in the Bahamas has everything you need to feel like you are at home. But I sure wish I had a backyard like they do. How about waking up and drinking your coffee overlooking the ocean or seeing a beautiful sunset sitting on the back porch with your cocktails in the evening. We really loved this security gated condo with all the amenities you need to be comfortable. The condo is spacious, clean with a wonderful view of the ocean. We felt like we had our own private beach which had a very unique rocky setting directly in the front of the condo and an expansive white sand beach to the right of the condo. Sue and Fred are wonderful to deal with and gave us a lot of information to make the trip more enjoyable. I think it is best to do the car rental thing to be able to shop, dine out or be adventurous and see the island as you please. There are not a lot of shops or restaurants close by so it is best to rent a car. Sue and Fred have put a great list together of fun places to see and good places to eat while on your visit. Be prepared to pay island prices for groceries and beer. We liked Butler's grocery store the best. We really enjoyed grilling out in the evening. Go to the Lucayan Straw Market for some fun shopping. The Gold Beach is outstandingly beautiful and only 40 minutes away from the condo. My family loved our stay at Sue and Fred's condo and would certaily go back again. Thanks Sue and Fred!

Condo was exactly as described. Perfect for the 50th birthday party we planned with 2 other couples. Weather was sunny and 80 degrees. Condo has everything...beach towels, chairs, etc. The only "downfall" is that because the condo is a bit secluded, there is really nothing within walking distance. Rose Mary was wonderful, taking us to grocery, liquor store, etc. But plan accordingly to cut down on wasted trips. Would not rent a car here..drive on left side and roadways are a little crazy. Susan, the owner, is a sweetheart and will answer any questions you have. All in all, a perfect quick long weekend getaway!

The first time I saw the condo I was VERYpleased. It is beautiful and well maintained. The view is incredible and right on the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and the master bedroom and bath are beautiful and the jacuzzi is wonderful.The grounds and the pool are lovely. Fred and Sue are wonderful. They answered all my questions quickly and truthfully. The condo is more than expected! Don't hesitate to rent this unit. Sue and Fred will take care of all the details... all you need is a beach towel! I have rented this condo two times and will come back again and again! Thank you Fred and Sue for a wonderful experience.....

We (two young couples) travelled along U.S. east coast and arrived quite exhausted at our last destination of our journey which was Grand Bahama. First time we entered the condo my friends starrted jumping and screaming because it was so beautiful: so much room for the four of us, nicely furnished, well equipped and maintained and moreover with an astonishing view at the sea! It was the best place for us to relaxe and enjoy the island. We nearly spent all our time either at our beautiful beach, where we were almost always alone, or on our comfortable porch. There are no restaurants or suitable supermarkets in walking distance - however, this was not a bigger problem for us, since we took a taxi to a large supermarket and by the way avoided driving on the left. One day we rented jet skies and had a terrific time! We can strongly recommend that condo for everyone, friends or families, who wants to enjoy a relaxing time in a beautiful surrounding.

I'd like to start off by thanking both Fred and Sue for sharing their beautiful Condo-they've been so helpfull from the beginning to the end of our vacation. This place was so private, the Condo is so spacious and the beach was breathtaking-especailly at low tide, the best part...we had it all to ourselves! If you are looking for a relaxing and peacefull vacation, I would defenitly recommend staying here. We had dinner out on the porch (BBQ) almost every night - very convinient being at ground level was just perfect for us with the kids. Thanks again Fred and Sue. We look forward to coming back soon. Real Paradise!

My family just returned from 9 days on Grand Bahama Island at Port of Call #2. It was perfect for our family of 8. The kitchen is enormous and having a washer & dryer is definitely a plus when you are traveling with four kids. Being in a gated community gave us a feeling of security with the grandkids. The beach was close, the water beautiful and the coral reef within easy swimming was gorgeous. We saw lobster, octopus, spotted eel, starfish and many fish on the reef. We had a boat and enjoyed diving and the most amazing snorkeling I've seen anywhere, but it was great having a reef we could get too right from shore. The best meal we had was at Pisces in Port Lucaya. Breakfast at Le Med was pretty awesome, too. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental. It was clean, well maintained and had lots of extras such as beach towels, chairs & toys. Having a large covered patio with a barbecue grill was a plus, too. Thank you, Fred & Sue, for sharing your vacation home with us!

My husband, mom, daughter and son-in-law spent 5 full days in this delightful, well-appointed condo. The gorgeous weather was only surpassed by the breath-taking views of the navy/seagreen/turquoise waters. The peaceful sandy beach, the friendly people we met, and the spacious condo made for a memorable vacation. This intimate gated community was perfect for reading, relaxing, snorkeling, and grilling on the large beachfront porch. We definitley recommend this unit for those who want to unwind. liz

We met our children and young grandson from different parts of the world at this condo. It was perfect. The beautiful beach was only steps away and had a variety for the snorkeler, the fisherman, the beachcomer and our little. The condo was like going home. It was comfortable, roomy and we had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful in our preparation and Stephanie was very attentive during our stay. The perfect getaway for relaxing and enjoying our family.

Our family visited Freeport for New Years and really enjoyed the location - we were quite impressed with the condo and its accomodations. The placed was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the back deck and the proximity to the beach. It is a great quiet home, located a short drive from all the action - If we ever head back to the Bahamas, we would stay at this condo again!! The owners were very helpful and answered all the question we had prior to arriving.

We were pleased with the spaciousness and complete furnishings and equipment inside, and the great location, view, and beach and pool access outside. We had adequate room for three adult couples, two with babies (cribs were there for both). The kitchen was large and well equipped. Large screen TV's in both the comfortable LR (HD, DVR) and the MBR. Three bedrooms all with en suite baths, though middle BR had no exterior window due to condo being an interior unit. Condo was clean upon arrival and easy to keep tidy. Front porch was a good alternative for eating and relaxing on outdoor furniture while at the condo. Restarants and services (and airport) all about 10-15 minutes away from the safe, quiet, gated community. In all, we recommend other family or coupless consider this property.

We had a wonderful stay at your quiet Bahamas Condo in Port of Call. The condo was a perfect way to enjoy an ocean front view without having to stay at one of the busy, crowded resorts. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch, the beach to walk on and search for shells, and the ocean to snorkel in. The accomodations were just what we were looking for and provided everything we needed - even beach chairs, towels, and the cooler! We loved the fact that we could explore the island during the day, but return home to a safe and quiet place. The condo was clean and comfortable. The owners and some local, friendly, and helpful neighbors offered us good recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores. For any other travels, we really enjoyed the snorkeling Deadman's Reef at Paradise Cove. It is out of town a little ways, but here we saw sharks, large parrot fish, and even an octopus amongst tons of other tropical fish and coral. The local owners of this place are very friendly and there is food available as well as clean restrooms. If we return to Grand Bahama Island, we will definately stay here again and we recommend this place to anyone planning a vacation here. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay forever! Thanks for a great getaway!

This vacation condo is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing quiet retreat. The ground floor unit was just as pictured, well maintained and the view as you open the door was spectacular!! The layout is superb with an open floor plan and comfortable seating for our family of six. The owner was very helpful and promptly answered all my questions before arriving. We spent a lot of time on the patio overlooking the beautiful water and relaxing. The beach was just steps away and a short walk took you to a place to collect conch shells!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return !!
