We have now stayed at the Tree House 3 times. We travel with our 2 Boston Terriers and this house is very pet friendly with fenced front and back yards. Donna makes the rental process very easy. The house is well equipped, has a lovely deck off of the second story and is located just a couple of blocks from the beach. It's a great location between Long Beach and Biloxi. The neighborhood is pretty quiet with the exception of the nearby trains. I take earplugs and never hear the trains! The house is also close to grocery stores, an Outlet Mall, Edgewater Mall, Casinos, great restaurants and a about 90 minutes to New Orleans. There is no shortage of things to do! We hope to return in the fall!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We absolutely loved this house! Perfect location and the house is charming. Everything was just as explained in the details. We can't wait to come back in the fall! Btw: the best restaurants are only 1-2 miles away. Go to Big Mikes, Lookout, Half-shell and Chimneys.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We can't say enough good things about this home and our stay. The house had everything we needed, beautiful inside and out, clean very nice furniture and plenty of room for the six adults (50-60 years old). Our two small dogs had a ball in the fenced in yard and the beach being just a block away, was excellent for letting them run and chase the sea birds. The town of Gulport is so beautiful with many nice shops and good places to eat. This home is in a great neighborhood. We will be coming back again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.

Three generations of family met at the Tree House for our annual vacation. The house was perfect - plenty of room to be together, or to find quiet time too! The outside deck was very cosy and had a great view of the ocean. At the beach there was parking for when we had to take all the chairs, umbrellas etc but mostly we walked the short distance. The beach was perfect for children - the water was quite shallow for a long way so the children could play without the adults having to watch their every move. We drove to New Orleans one day (about an hour and half) and another day went on a cajun swamp tour (a great adventure). Ocean Springs is a great little town to visit with cute boutiques and lots of good restaurants. Mostly we cooked at the house but one evening ate at Back Bay in Gulfport which has fabulous seafood. We would definitely recommend it to friends and will probably return there ourselves.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

I drove down from the Memphis area looking for a quiet base from which my dog and I could explore the Mississippi Gulf coast. The home is lovely, as good as advertised. Both Billie and I loved to sit on the front porch and watch the joggers and walkers in the evening. There is so much room, I'd like to come back with some friends, maybe in February for the Gulfport horse show. My favorite bedroom was the master upstairs with access to the terrace, but all of them are large and well-decorated. I also enjoyed having breakfast at the table in the back garden. And I can't forget to mention the downstairs tile double-shower. The home is in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristy stuff in Biloxi and the Casinos, but close to those attractions. I'm so glad you mentioned the Walter Anderson art. I accidentally stumbled upon Shearwater in Ocean Springs and then found the Anderson gallery in the old railroad building. Bought three prints and could have spent more time there, except the dog was in the car and it was hot. I would definitely go back there next time. Took the shrimping boat trip and ate at Shaggy's, and, as mentioned, both welcomed my dog. The shrimp boat captain recommended a seafood store where I bought a pound of fresh-caught cooked shrimp, which I then ate for lunch. Yum.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We love it when our dog guests have as much fun as the owner. The reason we even bought the house was to have the best possible home for our dogs to vacation. They deserve fenced in yards to keep safe while away from home. Finding dog friendly activities is always a plus. We take ours everywhere we can.

Loved this house and it's location! Nice quite neighborhood, but just minutes from any restaurant you could want. Try White Cap Seafood, we loved it. Beach was nearly private, we saw only 3 or 4 people the entire time we were there. The house had plenty of space, big enough for 10 people (6 adults, 4 kids). This home was comfortable and homey, and beautifully decorated. My favorite part of the house had to be the upstairs deck. You could access this from both upstairs bedrooms and also for the steps outside the Florida room. The deck was breezy and shaded by the giant trees, great place to have a cup of coffee or glass of sweet tea. New Orleans is just an hour away and Biloxi is only minutes away, we visited both. Donna was so easy to rent from and she had everything we could need/want ready for us. Thank You for sharing you house with us.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We just spent a week on a Gulfport vacation. The things we liked the most were the Biloxi shrimp boat excursion, food at the Half Shell Oyster House and the buffet at the Island View Casino, but most of all we LOVED the Tree House property. The house has everything you could need. The kitchen is modern and complete. The floor plan is perfect. The back yard is perfect, especially if you have your pet with you. When you let your dog out at night, motion detectors automatically turn the lights on for them. Bring your mosquito repellant to really enjoy all the amenities in the back yard. There are quality TVs everywhere you could want one. Walk to the beach or enjoy a stroll in the lovely neighborhood. Donna is a wonderful owner and always answered my emails in a timely manner.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The Tree House was much more than I had ever anticipated. It was and is amazing. To say that we had a relaxing visit is an understatement. Donna and Keith are the most kind, generous and thoughful home owners one could ever imagine for a vacation rental. Tree House is spacious, impecably decorated, adorned with great art from W. Anderson and virtually every accoutrement needed in the kitchen to make the stay most enjoyable. We loved the daily walks in the neighborhood with Duncan, our Airedale, making and meeting new friends. The entire coast region is 'spot on' in terms of delicious Southern Hospitality. Tree House is perfectly located for proximity to casinos, golf, beach and dining. For a killer golf course, try Grand Bear, a Jack Nicklaus designed course. Actually, it is a rather large collection of sandtraps with a green plopped in the middle of them from time to time. Gulf Hills became a favorite course at Ocean Springs. Thanks to Donna, we went to Ocean Springs three times, trying new restaurants, shopping and golf. Salute' restaurant is close by, pet friendly and not bad, although a bit overhyped. Keith recommended Shaggy's, also pet friendly, which we enjoyed twice. Thanks, Keith. White Cap is a really good seafood restaurant just 2.5 miles from Tree House. Good food, good service and good view. For OUTSTANDING BBQ, you must try Coops Rib Crib. The brisket and pulled pork will make you return again and again. Donna and keith sent us to Brooklyn Pizza which had garlic knots, something I had only had in the Bronx, New York!! A must try. We have many great memories and art gifts to keep us ever mindfull of our trip to the coast and Tree House. The privacy of the place is so inviting. It was a wonderful winter respite, one we will never forget and I'm sure we will be back. Thank you Donna and Keith for making it so special for us!! Steve, Marilyn and Sir Duncan!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home is wonderful, the pictures does not do it justice. It was so relaxing and the view of the beach is so nice. We met with family and friends while we were down and they all loved the place. The home was decorated for Christmas both inside and out when we arrived which made it even more special. I would recommend this home especially for families with children. My grandson can't wait to go back and stay in the tree house again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Pix do not do this house justice. House is much bigger than it appears. Owner's extremely helpful and courteous. Nicely appointed, yet very comfortable and "home like". Close to everything, but far enough away at the same time. We have already tried to rebook and it's booked, don't want to look for another house, but we must. Close to great restaurants in Gulfport and all the events in Biloxi, and Keesler AFB.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners.

This beautifully kept home was more than we could have asked for. Our entire family including 2 doggies thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The front and back yards are fenced making it an easy task to let the dogs out, without worry. The home is 1 block from the main beach street. We drove our truck to the beach each morning to carry all of the items we wanted with us on the beach, making it easy for everyone to walk back and forth during the day. The two upstairs bedrooms are very nice and both open to a beautiful balcony/pation area with very nice views of the gulf. We sat out there each morning and enjoyed the beautiful shaded areas. The queen bedroom is the largest of the two upstairs with a nice bathroom they share. Downstairs there is a fantastic walk in shower next to a double bedroom, also very spacious. This area was so handy as my daughter broke her foot one week before this trip and was very limited in getting around on her crutches. She was thrilled to have the amenities easily accessible. The daybed room was perfect for friends that came in for one night only. With 2 daybeds and 2 trundles they had plenty of room/privacy. The home is located very close to the railroad therefore if you are a light sleeper , bring provisions for that.My husband and I stayed in the upstairs king room and we were not bothered by the trains. The home is very cozy and easy to keep clean. I would bring with me next time, though, a cordless vacuum to make it easier to keep up with the daily dust/sand that comes into the home with the daily traffic. We loved everything about our stay and would return without hesitation. Donna was very nice and informative about her home.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: I took your advice and bought a cordless vacuum.

The home was in an excellent location. The home was very clean. Also the owner was very cooperative with requests that was needed. The neighborhood was very quiet. Everything was perfect except for the beach. We were there to relax on the beach too, since it was not so crowded. I don't know if something was going on around the area because there were dead fish, stingrays, birds all over the beach area.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: I wonder if the emptying of the overflow from the Mississippi river into the Mississippi Sound had something to do with this unusual occurance?

I just returned from a long weekend with family at the tree house and am a bit reluctant to advise just how wonderful the accomodations are as dates appear difficult to secure unless done in advance. The home is beautifully appointed and lovingly maintained. Attention to detail in each and every area had everyone convinced they had the best room - from the two bedrooms upstairs to the day beds in the sun room and the downstairs bedroom - each was special. Everything is in place for a completely relaxing holiday. The wonderful shaded deck offers great views of the beach and gulf and the nicely landscaped backyard is perfect for barbeques, seafood or just relaxing in the sun or in the shaded seating areas. I cannot imagine how this could be improved upon, just terrific in every way.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family (3 Adults and 2 Dogs) stayed at the Gulf Breeze Tree House last week and we are already trying to find time to return. This is a great location. The neighborhood is very peaceful. You can see the beach from the house. The beaches were not overly crowded. The casinos are just a short drive up the road. Lots of local restaurants to enjoy (Burger Burger, Blow Fly Inn, High Cotton and more). The house was spotless and well maintained. Donna was very friendly, responsive and quick to return our deposit. I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I rented the Tree House for my sister's bachelorette party (10 ladies) and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house was easy to find and in a central location to everything. It is beautifully furnished, has tons of room, was very clean and has a spectacular view of the gulf/beach from the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was also very clean and delightful! The only downside about the house was the parking, but it wouldn't stop me from returning again. We started our holiday with candycanes stirrers and hot chocolate awaiting us, compliments of the hosts. The house was also fully decorated for the holidays. Loved the decor, excellent taste. My sister loved the breezeway to the garage so much she wants to add to her house plans. Nice clean house! My family really enjoyed having coffee on the peaceful balcony while gazing at the beach. The beds were so comfortable! It feels like a home instead of a rental. The exterior of the house is so pretty. Nice clean crisp look! I will refer my friends and family members for this property. Just hope it is available when we return!Did you find this review helpful? We were the first guest to stay at the Gulf Breeze Tree House so it's only fitting we write the first review. On a Thursday in October we decided to make a visit to the coast for the weekend. We called a rental realtor and it so happened the Tree House had just been released to rent. There were no pictures on the web yet but she assured us we would be pleased. We arrived after dark and passed the place up because it looked to great to be a rental. It is in a perfect location close to all activities. Having coffee on the deck and looking out at the gulf is a perfect way to start the day. The entire house has been redone and is beautiful. It has plenty of room and privacy for several couples or a family. We loved the Tree House so much we have already booked a longer stay for this October!Did you find this review helpful?
