  My family and I recently stayed here for a MUCH needed Thanksgiving getaway. Prior to arrival, Maureen was GREAT!!! She answered ALL our questions and was a joy to communicate with. When we arrived, the cabin was IMMACULATELY clean!!!! It is beautiful and the photos simply don't do it justice. We loved the privacy, but also enjoyed the easy accesibility to local attractions. We will DEFINITELY stay again!!! Thanks SO much for sharing this beautiful place!!!!!

  This cabin was amazing! CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!!! My husband and I went for a long weekend and were so happy with this cabin! It is secluded, the hot tub was amazing, and it had everything we needed! The owner Maureen was great to work with! Talking to her was like talking to family! We will be taking our kids back next year and will get this cabin again! WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST DEAL IN GATLINBURG!!!!!

  This cabin is the perfect location, a scenic drive back in the arts and craft community and minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The area is peaceful and beautiful. The pictures accurately depic the cabin. Avalon Ridge is the cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in (this is my 6th cabin rental.) For a couple looking to get away, relax, and enjoy the fresh mountian air, this is the perfect place for you. The cabin is very secluded. You have complete privacy on the back deck while in the hot tub. The owner Maureen was wonderful to work with. Enjoy and book today! We have already begun to tell our friends and family. You also will not find a better deal!

  We had a wonderful time here with my wife and kids. This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to Gatlinburg but far away enough to stay away from the crowds. We will be going back and staying here next time. Thank You for such a wonderful trip and great memories.

  All I can say about this cabin is that there is no need to ever stay anyplace else!! Owner is wonderful to deal with! Cabin has everything you need and most of what you want! It is spotless and so comfy! The pictures show exactly what is there - all clean, tidy and new. What a find!! We will certainly return! Thanks to Maureen - it was a perfect vacation. Even the rain did not dampen our spirits!

  My boyfriend and I spent a long weekend here and we have been coming to gatlinburg and renting cabins for three years now and this was the best one yet! We will be renting this cozy little cabin again and referring our friends and family. It was perfect had everything we needed and was beyond the cleanest we have stayed in. I've been coming down since I was little but never been thur the arts and crafts community. It was a great new find for me looking at all the crafts and its very pretty in that area. Thanks again we had a wonderful time and will be renting again maybe in a few months :)!! Nicole& Justin

  I looked at many cabins online to stay during the Fall peak season. I also take reviews seriously, & that is the main reason for choosing Avalon Ridge. It is very private, yet only 15 miutes from town. The inside was large and unique...a good mix of a lodge and condo feeling. A very cozy place and it has everything you will need for comfort. Fully stocked kitchen (dishes, pans, cups, coffee maker, utinsils, etc...including a basket of snacks, teas, hot chocolate, & coffee. Maureen is very professional and takes pride in being sure that you are satisfied. The king bed was very comfortable. This place is even nicer than what the pictures portray. We also highly recommend taking a side trip on 321 to Carvers Applehouse Restaurant & Orchards near Cosby. On the way, go into the National Park at the Greenbriar entrance(about 10 min. from the cabin)off of 321. We will stay here again! Why stay in a hotel when you can have this? VERY CLEAN!!!

  When we walked into this cabin, we could immediately see and smell how clean it was. I have never seen such immaculate house keeping, in a hotel, cabin, or anywhere else. When we first arrived, we were disappointed to see that underneath the cabin porch was completely infested with wasps. There were at least 7 huge wasp nests down there. I called Maureen and she had someone come out the very next morning! She was fast and expressed concern about it. We had another "visitor" (a flying squirrel) come in through the chimney and she had someone out IMMEDIATELY to help. Maureen was beyond impressive. When you're staying in the mountains, it's to be expected that you may have a few encounters with animals and we weren't worried about it at all, but she made us a top priority. When we come to Gatlinburg, we wouldn't even CONSIDER staying anywhere else! The cabin is about 15 minutes from downtown and the drive is BEAUTIFUL through the arts and crafts district. We had been to Gatlinburg before and never made it to the arts and crafts district, so we really enjoyed that. You can't go wrong staying in this cabin - it is beautiful! The double sided fireplace was particularly awesome. We will be back!

  The pictures do not do this property justice! It very well could be the best deal in Gatlinburg. The cabin was modern, had comfortable furniture, stocked with every needed amenity, private but close (half mile from the road to Ramsey Cascades) and was IMMACULATE! The Owners could easily charge much more for this property. Do not waste your time looking at other properties as it gets no better than this gem.
