Why the Owner Chose Victoria
We really like this property as it is one of four townhouses in a condominium complex. It is such a great vacation rental as it has it's own entrance so you have complete privacy, yet so much outide room to take advantage of, like a stroll to the front of the building which sits on the Gorge Waterway. A 15 min walk will take you to the Selkirk Waterway terminal to catch the harbour ferry, rent a kayak or just sit around drinking coffee and having lunch in one of the many retuarants. The property is located on Gorge Road in Victoria which is very close to downtown, yet has easy access to many of the local attractions that are outside downtown Victoria such as Butchart Gardens, the Butterfly Gardends, etc.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The best part by far is the 700sq ft private patio. During the August long weekend the Snowbirds fly overtop the townhouse so close your drink will vibrate! You will also enjoy the roomy feel with over 1600sq ft of living space. Essentially, there are 3 bedrooms, but we have made one of the bedrooms into a TV/Computer room and it has a full size Queen Sklar Pepplar pull out sofa bed. The townhouse has never been 'lived in' so there is a very 'new' feel to it especially while cooking up a nice dinner in the brand new appliances and the granite countertops!

A very comfortable townhome in Victoria, BC Date Submitted: January 05, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008 Victoria is a beautiful city, and I, PJ, took my 3 daughters ages 11, 13 and 18 there for a New Years trip. I am the girls father. My favorite place to go in Victoria are: Swans Brew Pub, Royal Canadian Museum, Craig Darroch Castle, Fort Rodd, and Point Ellice house. When we go on trips together, we love renting a house, townhouse or condo because of the ability to easily prepare meals and relax in a living room together. You know: put on the sweats and slippers and turn on a movie, or, play a board game together. This townhouse housed us very comfortably. It was quiet, spacious and clean and appeared to be like new. The kitchen was completly equipped. The living room has leather furniture that was very comfortable. Since we came in the winter, we were, unfortuneately, unable to take advantage of the great looking patio with a view of the water - it sounded like it would be great for a family bar be que. The property is located near shopping, and very close to downtown Victoria. The owner of the property is quite friendly and easy to do business with. The home has great views of the gorge, and a great walk is just 10 minutes away.
