  I've been vacationing at the Gulf of Mexico for at least one week every summer most every year of my life and I have to tell you that Sterling Shores has become our family favorite! We tried another place last year but the kids (and they're all teens) begged to come back to this condo at Sterling Shores this year. We've already made our reservations and can hardly wait for summer vacation to get here. The view from the room is excellent and access to the beach is very convenient. One of our favorite things about it's location is being able to easily walk to lunch or dinner at the Back Porch! Thank you so much for sharing your vacation property with us!

  This was our fourth stay at Sterling Shores, but our first stay in this particular condo. It was absolutely beautiful and the view from the balcony was amazing. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean and well maintained.It had an "At home" feel to it. We will definately be back next summer. Thank you to the owners for providing and sharing such a wonderful condo!!

Our Sterling Shores 615 is located in the building in the best location to see the pool, but high enough to reduce the noise and it is directly across from the beach side pool so the view of the beach is the best in the building. We welcome you back to Destin and Sterling Shores 615.

  We stayed at Sterling Shores, #615, during spring break 2012. The condo is warm, cozy, and comfortable. We felt very much at home and had anything we possibly needed. We were in close proximity to restaurants and shops. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Even though it is not right on the beach, we could see the dolphins swimming by in the morning. The online pictures of the balcony are a bit deceiving, but in a positive way. The beach is much closer than it looks! It was such a pleasant experience and we would definitely stay again. Kudos to the owners.

Receiving such nice reviews makes all the efforts of keeping a property in great shape worthwhile. You explained beautifully the reasons we purchased at Sterling Shores. By being close to the beach, but across a dead end street with little traffic, makes the rates very reasonable. With two pools it has one of them directly on the beach. While it is actually a 2-bedroom condo it is rented as a 1-bedroom condo because the second bedroom’s closet is in the hall. It also has two baths. Thank you also for already booking for your next year’s Spring Break. That is definite proof you enjoyed your stay in Sterling Shores 615.

  This is our twelth year coming to Destin. We have stayed at Sterling Shores many times and find it to be our favorite place to stay. However our condo this year was a disappointment . First and formost the condo needed a good cleaning.There was a collection of dust on alot of things.The fake greenery had a collection of dust.We have one in our party that has allergies and that was not good for her. Secondly, the condo needs some work. The walls needed painting , the kitchen needs more because we cook alot. The shower in the smaller bath has mold. Correcting these problems would make us consider this condo again because you cannot beat the view from the balcony.

As soon as I received this notice I went directly to the management company that takes care of the cleaning. This has been a record breaking summer rental season for all of Destin. With back to back rentals time only permits departure cleans. The unit is scheduled for a deep-clean which takes care of all the items you mentioned bringing it back to its normal excellent condition. You are correct that you cannot beat the view from the balcony of this condo. Thanks again for your overall high rating of the unit...4 out of 5 stars. We welcome you back! Update: The condo has just been painted throughout and the deep clean has also just been done.

  I was a little concerned about not being 'gulf front' when we booked this condo but was very pleasantly surprised. Amazing view of gulf and pool. Property is a little tricky to figure out at first but is very well kept and a really great location in the heart of Destin. We have been staying on this 'block' for 11 years and will likely book this unit again if we can. Only 'down side' was an obstinate wine opener, a slow moving coffee maker (spoiled by Keurig) and we could have used a little more non stick cookware but a definite thumbs up no matter what. It is a great value and we really enjoyed our stay.
