  We took 2 families with young children and had an awesome time! The lake house is wonderful and so are the host Rickey and Frieda. They truly went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. I can't thank them enough and absolutely recommend a visit to the lake. We plan to get back to the lake soon! The view from the deck at sunset is amazing and very relaxing. This is a perfect getaway for anyone. Very clean, very nice and very enjoyable! JJ

  This is my second year staying at this delightful property and it was even better the second time around. Rickey and Freida go above and beyond to ensure that every attention to detail and desire is met. Their property is immaculate and I would rate it as #1 on Lake D'Arbonne (I have personally stayed at 5 other properties). Their lake home is very clean, beaitfully appointed and has all the extras to make your stay GREAT and the lake view is priceless! Our group likes it so much that we are considering adding a fall trip and are ready to book our 2014 spring trip with Rick and Freida. For anyone considering a lakehouse rental, I highly recommend this property...there is absolutely no way that you will be disappointed.

  We enjoyed this home a while ago and I meant to write them a glowing review then, but forgot. The owners were awesome and really took good care of us. There was so much to do and even the 4 yr old twins stayed entertained the whole 2 weeks. Great deck and one thing they don't tell you is that the location of the home is such that you can hear gentle waves all the time. We plan to go back again soon!

  What an extraordinary opportunity we had to stay in Farmerville and experience life in Louisiana. The drive out to the property is beautiful and while expecting something a little more rustic for a "summer house" it was a wonderful surprise to find a beautiful, well appointed home that was spotlessly clean and up to date. Its location right on the shore of the lake makes for lazy days, and evening dinners on the deck. We caught fish in the lake and enjoyed our first ever fish fry. It is in a safe neighbourhood that allows for walking and getting out and enjoying the outdoors. The owners are a lovely couple who make you feel truly welcome. I would not hesitate recommending this vacation property to anyone, young or old.

  Many thanks to the hosts Rickey and Freida for sharing with us this delightful getaway home. Clean, comfortable and southern decor allowed us as guests to appreciate the peacefulness of country living and experience the south in style. Watching the sunsets from the back porch and dock exempliefied relaxation....and of course sipping wine in the hot tub. Everything was exactly as the photographs on their website indicated....the beds were comfortable and allowed for a perfect rest. The golf course personnel and members were inviting and shared with us their knowledge and hospitality of the area - a great deal for golfers as the green fees are cheap and it is just up the street. Once again, thank you and we will be sure to return and bring some of our Canadian friends with us.
