Why the Owner Chose Prescott Valley

Actually, I have lived in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area for twenty-four years. I continue to work and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

The Unique Benefits at this House

This community is very family friendly and offers numerous activities such as hiking, fishing, biking, boating, hunting, museums, art galleries, horse racing, movies, live entertainment at Tim's Toyota Center, and much more.

A
Tim's Toyota Center

This is a multi-function arena with seating capacity of 6,000. It is home to the Arizona Sundogs hockey team, and hosts musical concerts as well as other forms of live entertainment.

B
Yavapai Regional Medical Center - East Campus

New complete hospital facility and soon will have a modern birthing center.

D
Entertainment District

Movie theater, restaurants, Freedom Station playland and minature golf.

E
Pony Expresso Coffee Shop

Besides the usual coffee, tea and pastries, they serve breakfast and lunch.

F
Old Towne Prescott Valley

Original buildings from the 1960's when Prescott Valley began.

G
Mountain Valley Park

Ballfields, skate park, bicycle park, swimming pool in summer.

Owner's Map of Prescott Valley

When I bought this house I redecorated it to make it more comfortable for me and my family. A couple years later I bought the house next door, completely rebuilt it and moved in. I've kept the original house as a guest house, but last year decided to offer it up for short-term rental. Living next door makes it easier to maintain the rental unit and more convenient for guests. It's almost like having a bed & breakfast inn where I get to meet visitors.....but I don't cook.

We stayed for one week in this lovely home in November 2011. The house was clean, the bed was comfy and the amenities/accommodations were fine and met our needs perfectly! The house is easy to get to and centrally located, close to everything. We even met the owner himself, very personable and friendly. We would DEFINITELY choose to stay here again should the need arise.

Our stay was for one week at Grandpa's Place and it was awsome, we came for a family reunion, half live in Prescott Valley. The backyard was great for all the grandkids to come over and visit and play, the adults played horse shoes. Lots of great meals prepared inside and outside on the Bar B Que. Lots of visiting and photo opts. Wayne is available by phone or right next door, kinda just in the background, not invadeing but available if needed. We recommend Grandpa's Place to any and all, no matter why or when it fits the need. Everything in the house was very accomodating to a couple or a family with or without pets. Thank you Wayne...

This was a great place to stay with our teens. They had nice bedroooms and their own bathroom. The master is roomy with lots of closet space. The house is stocked with good towels and dishes, close to stores and restaurants. We would like to stay there again.

PERFECT FOR THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

Date of Stay: 09/22/10 Review Submitted: 10/15/10

This house is beautifully decorated and has all the necessary amenities needed for short or long stays. We enjoyed a kitchen stocked with every utensil and very comfortable bedrooms. A walk in shower for elderly or disabled was especially appreciated. The owner lives next door and was very helpful but also very invisible unless called on. We were 12 minutes from our convention site and minutes away from shopping centers and your favorite restaurants. The Animal Conservatory Sedona Flagstaff Slide Rock and the Grand Canyon make this vacation spot a memorable one. I hope to go back to Prescott and stay at Grandpa's Place.

The rental property is accurtely descripted and the photos are right on. We loved the swing in back and the overall cleanliness of the place which was well maintained. We loved the fact we could walk to the Pony Express Cafe and Coffee Shop, there food is organic and wonderful tasting. There is alot of shops to visit and a lake you can fish at and a golf course you can't walk it but need a cart. A wonderful place and a nice home, I will recommend this place to everyone.
