Pau Hana means "after work" in the Hawaiian language. The house is the perfect spot for after work. Centrally located in downtown Topsail Beach, it has a fabulous view of our beautiful, serene beach and even has privileges to a nearby (2 minute walk) gated community pool where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets over Topsail Sound. Topsail Beach is particularly beautiful in the off-season (November-April) because it is so peaceful and pristine.
Pau Hana really is a special home. It is set back from the main road on a quiet, paved street in a private neighborhood. It offers a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and its lovely sunrises and moonrises. There is a comfy porch swing under the covered deck where you can snuggle up in a quilt and enjoy a cup of hot tea while watching the waves roll in. You'll enjoy the upper deck with its outdoor eating table and lounge chairs for sunning or napping. After your bike ride or walk to nearby Serenity Point beach, you can relax by a soothing fireplace in Pau Hana. Welcome to tranquility!
In addition to its perfect location, Pau Hana includes all the amenities you'll need for a relaxing stay. Our home features a TV in every room, VCR, DVD, wireless high speed internet access, expanded cable, and brand new deck furniture. The dining table seats eight people comfortably and there is a kitchen bar area with three bar chairs.
The house has four bedrooms (Q, Q, 2S, 2 Bunks and Trundle) along with a portacrib. The two queen bedrooms have sliding glass doors that open directly onto the beachside. The bunk room and the twin room are on the streetside of the house.
The living room is decorated Hawaiian style, with soft blues and pastels reminiscent of the tropical climate. Relax at the bar for a snack or cocktail. Pick up a fresh catch and cook it up in Pau Hana's well-stocked kitchen. After dinner, stroll down to the Jolly Roger Fishing Pier or head over to some of Topsail Beach's hidden treasures...The Gift Basket, Island Treasures, Beach Shop Grill or Homeport (karaoke on Friday nights in season!)
The Town of Topsail Beach boasts a friendly, family oriented lifestyle. Pau Hana is located near the center of this quiet beach community located at the southern tip of Topsail Island, where the grass is green and the air is clean.
