Things to do in Destin:
Empress is located in a great area with a lot of entertainment options. Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nations largest Factory Outlet is located a couple miles away offering 100 stores to find 20%-70% discounts off retail prices.
Also nearby is Destin Commons which offers excellent shopping, restaurants, RAVE motion pictures, kids play area and much more. Baytowne Wharf is also nearby Sandestin on the Bay side. There are excellent restaurants, shopping, marina, and the famous Village Door for those interested in the nightlife!
There are quite a few fun activities in the area for kids and adults alike such as Big Kahuna's Water Park in downtown Destin, as well as the Gulfarium on Okaloosa Island, and The Track in Destin where everyone in the family can enjoy the fun riding go-carts, bumper boats, and the little ones even have their own area of rides, and there's also miniature golf next door to the Track.
Grand Boulevard is yet another great shopping and dining area next to Sandestin where there are restaurants such as Tommy Bahama's, Flemings, P.F. Changs, Mitchells Fish Market, Cantina Laredo, and more. Shopping includes J.Crew, Billabong, Sanctuary, Learning Express, J.Jill, Orvis, to name a few.
