This exotic ocean front home rental is a mixture of Moroccan and Guatamalan design set on the beautiful coast of Baja Mexico just south of Rosarito. Only an hour and a half from San Diego you will be transported into another time and world. Includes three guest cottages and inner courtyard with private pool area.
Watch dolphins from the back terrace. Enjoy sunsets from your own personal palapa. Beach access is only a few steps away. This rural, peaceful setting in a small, gated community is surrounded by the magnificence of the Pacific Ocean. Great for family birthdays, reunions, retreats, or golf excursions.
This hacienda-style home has a main house with master bedroom and a magical interior courtyard encircled by three guest houses with private pool. Some of the guest houses have their own fireplace or kitchenette.

First let me apologize for not having posted a review as soon as we got back, I just realized my error while looking for it! We spent 5 days at your piece of paradise in March of 2011 & had the most amazing time. My husband & I were travelling with our 2 children (ages 11 & 12 at the time) and my elderly parents. The kids loved having their own living space & my parents were super comfortable in their own space that included a kitchenette. We all enjoyed the pool everyday & the hammock out back. Eating our meals under the palapa was such a treat, the kids enjoyed smores at the firepit in the evenings. My mother & I enjoyed our morning coffee out back watching the dolphins, by the end of our trip the whole family was waking up early with us to watch them with us. We walked along the beach and brought home such unique rocks. My husband & I were in the main unit & we slept with our window open enjoying the crashing surf all night long. We also found the bed sooooo comfortable!! We drove to Ensenada and other nearby towns and always felt very safe. I whole heartedly recommend this place, the owners are very accommodating and easy to work with--especially with for our last minute trip. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We can't wait to go back, again I am so sorry for not posting a review for your amazing home as soon as we got home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

the home and gardens are so beautiful! my wife and i love this property so much for our family vacation. we took my 75+ parents with us and they tell us they really enjoy making a cup of coffee and walking 50 feet to the ocean waves. the kids were going from the pool to fishing from shore and back to the pool all day long! we caught 7 fishes total. we would love to stay again at casa del mundo whenever we go to rosarito! on the negative side, i recomended the owner to fix or replaced the doornubs as some were hard to open.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Feliz Navidad! Colder than we expected. We huddled around the fire each evening. We all rested as each of us needed to unwind. Preston (18 months) loved the ocean and the waves and birds. He begged to be outside whenever possible. Books were read and we had so much "down" time with our family. The girls got great massages and the guys headed to the beach!
