  Our stay at Answer To Prayer in North Topsail Island recently was wonderful. The property is right on the beach and has a beautiful view of the ocean from the kitchen and living area downstairs as well as from the upstairs master bedroom. Everything in the house was well laid out with very good instructions, especially for the TV/AV sound system which is very good. It was nice to have all the things needed in the kitchen to cook meals. While we brought our own large pan with lid we did not need it. The refrigerator was very clean with a great ice machine and lots of room for food. The enclosed garage worked out very nicely since it was windy, and our car stayed very nice and clean throughout. The house is very cheery with nice bright colors throughout, and the furniture was well placed and laid out. We definitely will be going back! Lynn and Cliff Leath

  We are so thankful to find this BEAUTIFUL home for our visit with our daughter who is nearby at Camp Lejuene. The view was spectacular, the home was very clean and we had a wonderful time. Catch the sunrise and early morning coffee on the deck. We also got a great show of Fly Overs by the local base. Lot's of room for everyone and we did not trip over each other. We had 8 staying at the house with us. The owners are simply wonderful people, we are very blessed that we found this house and the owners...It was very much an Answered Prayer for us. We will be coming back....I did not have enough time to do everything we wanted to do.

  Our time at Answer to Prayer was perfect! There were 10 of us there and we had plenty of room to sleep and so much room to relax and enjoy the beach. The house is nice and decorated so beautifully. We cooked the entire time we were there and there where plenty of pots and utensils which made it great for cooking up something good! The best part was the front deck. We spent a lot of time on it cooking, eating, reading, talking, observing the ocean, etc. Also, the beach is literally a few steps away so that's awesome. There isn't much around to get in the way but there are a few grocery stores right down the road which are perfect for getting the essentials. Overall, Answer to Prayer is a great place to go and get away from everything. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a restful and relaxing vacation at the beach and Darlene is so great to work with!

  This will be our 4th year here and I can't say enough good things about this house! If you are looking for a great place to be with your family, look no further! The house is always clean and well appointed and the owners are extremely friendly and have always called to make sure everything was as it should be. My boys don't want to go anywhere else for vactation except here! We usually book 2 weeks as 1 week isn't enough for our family! The best kept secret on the east coast!

  This house is very nice, clean, has a great layout, and best of all, its right on the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay, and will definately be back.

  We had such a wonderful time! The house was clean with plenty of room for 9 of us, the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, there was never a bathroom issue, and having a washer/dryer was so nice. The kids also found a lot of stuff in the garage to play with and will have awesome memories of the beautiful beach (which was never crowded), the dolphins, finding shark teeth and of course the highlight of our vacation...getting to watch the Loggerhead turtle nest hatch! That was an experience of a lifetime! Thank you so much for allowing us to vacation in your house and God bless you. I also appreciate you calling while we were there to make sure everything was Ok and things were the way they should be. We would love to come back again, God willing, so my mom can see it as well when she BEATS the monster of breast cancer she is fighting. I would definitely recommend this property for families with children of any age.

  My family of 7 spent a week on the beach at Topsail Island. This is a very nice place, on the beach and a couple of miles away from all the crowds which tend to gather nearer to the shops in town. We did have a small problem with the stove and washing machine, but the owner had them repaired as quickly as possible, and generously compensated us for the inconvenience. When we arrived, there was absolutely no "supplies" in the house including toilet paper, dish soap, bathroom soap, paper towels, salt or sugar. In fact, they request that nothing be left in the house upon leaving, so be sure that you will no need the bathroom until after you go grocery shopping and get bathroom tissue. We rented linens including towels which worked well. Bring charcoal if you want to use the grill and beach chairs for the beach.

  This was our first beach holiday on the east coast, and it lived up to almost all of our expectations. The house has a wonderful location, right on the beach. We walked to the beach with our tea cups in hand. So nice. The deck was lovely, a few steps from the kitchen. This was my first criteria when booking a house and it was completely answered. My second criteria was the right # of beds and baths, this worked for 7 people, I cannot imagine any more, because of the bathroom situation. You would all have to be family, because 1 of the baths is in the master bedroom. Thirdly, cleanliness, this is where I was a little disappointed. Over all the house was neat and tidy, I felt the bathrooms are showing there age and needed a heavier hand in cleaning them. I donot want to discourage anyone from this home but I do feel that the tubs needed more scrubbing. The owner was wonderful to deal with. She gave us wonderful advise on what to bring and which airports to use as well as restaurant tips. ( bring charcoal for BBQ) My family had a wonderful time on the beach and in the house, we watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics, great TV, by the way. So maybe it is just a mom thing with the tubs, I would recomend this house and the area.

  The home was located on the beach with windows across the whole beach side of the house. View was spectacular. Kitchen was very well equipped. Outdoor shower was a plus on the way back from the beach. Deck was shaded in the late afternoon so we could sit outside without getting more sun. Photos accurately reflect the home. Turtle Rescue was interesting but plan for a long wait in the sun. If you get there about half an hour before they open you can get in pretty quickly. If on time expect to wait an hour or more. We enjoyed meals at Beauchaines, which was pricey but excellent food, and the New York Deli, more reasonably priced and good food. Enjoy watching dolphins, especially when a trawler is going by. Find an abundance of sharks teeth on the beach.

  Our time at the beach was so much fun. The ocean was right at our back door...just down the deck walkway! The beach at Topsail is not crowded, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The house is spacious and comfortable, and the view and sound of the ocean on the back deck was soooooo relaxing.
