A Cozy Riverside Cabin on the Wenatchee River. The Osprey Nest is a rustic cedar sided cabin -- inside it has an airy open plan with high pine ceilings and a wall of windows and glass doors that open onto a deck overlooking the beautiful Wenatchee River. It has two open loft bedrooms accessed by a "ladder" stairway that can be lifted out of the way when not needed – the river side loft has a Queen bed -- the woods side loft has a Queen bed and two twin size fold-out loveseats. The fold out sofa bed in the living room allows the cabin to accommodate up to eight people. The Osprey Nest offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, Jacuzzi jetted bathtub in the bathroom, and a wood stove with glass doors in the living area. It has a TV with cable and DVD/VHS player in the living room armoire. The cabin is equipped with free Wi-Fi internet access.
From Stevens Pass to Wenatchee you will find your favorite activities. Our location in the middle offers access to everything, whether you're golfing, fishing or rafting on the Wenatchee River, hiking in the Alpine Wilderness Area of the Cascades, rock climbing near Leavenworth, or enjoying a scenic wine tour, you are sure to create wonderful memories. You can wind surf or swim in the clear mountain water of the Wenatchee River or Lake Wenatchee. In the summer you'll find fruit stands and orchard tours. In winter enjoy cross country skiing, downhill skiing, take a sleigh ride or head out into the high country on a snowmobile excursion. There is something for the entire family to enjoy at any time of year!

A charming and private cabin on the banks of the Wenatchee River, a perfect private mountain getaway.
The Lodge is also available for rent and can sleep up to 26 people.
The friendly town of Plain has Plain Grocery and Plain Hardware~ a charming store with Lattes as well as home accessories and gifts.
A great 50's theme Diner~ stop in for a meal on your way to or from the cabin!
The Bavarian town of Leavenworth is a beautiful 25 minute drive from the cabin through the Chumstick Valley.
The Wenatchee River has long been regarded as one of the best fly fishing steelhead streams in Washington State, but it has been closed for more than a decade. It is open from Leavenworth down to the confluence of the Columbia River in Wenatchee. We like to refer to this trip as "steelhead fishing in the Alps" due to the amazing mountainous backdrops and the Bavarian feel of the Leavenworth area. Over the Labor Day weekend, my mom and I and the doggies stayed at the Osprey Nest. What a wonderful place! I would do all I could to live there. The water is right there. Saw an osprey, no really, catch a salmon! I've been staying at places around the Plain/Leavenworth area now for about nine years and am so glad I stayed here. Go check it out. You will not be disappointed.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this place for our annual girls weekend with a party of 8. The place is beautiful, very private setting right on the river in the woods. We like to cook and brought along alot of our own kitchen supplies as most places have only the basics, this kitchen is very well stocked. The beds were comfortable, obviously with 8 people we used the pull out beds as well which was fine with us, just keep in mind if you are brininging more than 4 people not everyone will have a "good" bed. Plenty of pillows and blankets were provided. It was about a 25 minute drive to downtown Leavenworth on a windy road, but not a problem while we there since it was summer. The rental property agent did a great job of taking care of everything and in a very timely and accomodating manner. I would definitely recommend this place for either a summer or winter rental, couples, friends or families.
