We enjoyed our month stay in Englewood. The area is quiet, but had everything that we enjoy. The golf and beaches were great. The home we stayed in was neat, CLEAN, and very well equipped. I kept thinking I could easily entertain with such a well equipped kitchen. Would reccommed to our family and friends. Alec supplied lots of information concerning the area which we found helpful.

We had a wonderful time away from the winter and missed the snow of the century. At time at this home was very relaxing and the best way to spend the winter. The is convenient to everything in Englewood. We think Englewood is the best kept secret on the FL west coast. Thanks for a wonderful time, hope we can do it again.

12/23/06-1/1/07 We were blessed with the opportunity to take a family vacation (one we had not had in 10+ yrs)and feel doubly blessed that we came across Alec's house to rent! The house was absolutely perfect for us. Everything we needed was right there. The house is charming, decorated in traditional Floridian flair and definitely makes you feel at home. The location in Englewood is perfect for exploring the Southern gulf coast. We traveled up to Sarasota and also down to Ft. Myers, Sanibel and Captiva. These were day trips without too much driving. All in all we were extremely pleased with our stay and we will definitely be back! Thanks Alec!

We thoroughly enjoyed spending the month of April, 2005 in Englewood, Florida. The weather was perfect everyday. We appreciated the convenient location of the house to shopping, beaches, restaurants, etc. The house was clean, well-furnished, comfortable and located in a quiet and safe area. It was a pleasure to have our two schnauzers with us on vacation and Alex was very accomodating as a landlord. He phoned upon our arrival to ensure that everything was satisfactory. Englewood is a beautiful and unspoiled area. It was wonderful to walk on beaches that were natural and not over-developed and commercial. We would love to return to Englewood next year for longer.

Enjoyed our stay at the villa in Englewood. The location is quiet yet near great shoppping and food on route 776. House is very well equipped. We would have no reservations about renting the home again.

We stayed at Alex's rental on Englewood St. and found it wonderfully equiped with all of the comforts of home. Alex was very accomodating and simply a pleasure to deal with. The place was very clean, reasonably priced, in a quiet, safe neighborhood, not far from the beach, and very comfortable. We would highly recommend the home to others who are looking for a simple, clean, quiet and relaxing place to get away.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was so well equipped that every time we reached for something it was already there. It is done in a very charming Florida style and the location is excellent. I really enjoyed meeting Alec and Cheri as well. I grew up in Englewood and there are a lot of wonderful things to do and much rest to be had there.

We were relocating and needed to find a furnished place to rent while we looked at houses to buy in the area. This house suited us perfectly because it was in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to everything, not too expensive, and would accept pets. Everything worked out wonderfully and the owner is so nice to work with, too!

Enjoyed our stay 1-29 Feb. 2004. Safe, quiet residential neighborhhod close to shopping and many activities. Owner has comprehensive book detailing wide variety of activities and personal and previous guest's recommendations.

Alec I would just like to say our family had a great time staying at your place. It was great having the beach so close and dinning and yes my wife liked the shopping close as well. I could not think of a better location to take my wife and kids. Look forward to seeing you next year. P.S. My kids keep asking me when were going to our other house in Florida Thanks again

Very comfortable, well equipped and clean villa. Situated in a quiet residential avenue 5 minutes drive from the lovely Englewood Beach. An excellent location for a family holiday and close to main routes to other wonderful parts of the Gulf Coast. Highly recommended.

We have a lot of fun on the beach. We fished every day and caught a lot of fish. The house is very nice and the neighborhood is close to everything. We come back soon.

We enjoyed our stay. "At home" conveniences were very nice. Quiet neighborhood & close to everything. We recommend "Dino's" Pizza buffet in Sarasota for a family outing to Motre Aquarium, or Jungle Safari. We wqill be back. Loved the beaches. Kids had fun too. "shark teeth galore" Mayaka State Park is also a nice place to visit.

Great house, art, equipment etc. Loved the yard, the laying down palm, oranges. A nice quiet street, and strategically located from Merchant's Crossing, beaches etc. Perfect area for us. See you hopefully next January

What a beautiful home, very well equipped and we have enjoyed your artwork. It was a wonderful winter in a beautiful area. The Norfolk pine in the west yard was our Xmas tree.
