Tranquility is a spacious, comfortable, fully equipped, well- appointed vacation home tucked amidst a grove of pine trees close to all the amenities of highly desirable Tahoe Donner. Tranquility serves as a perfect “base camp” to explore the amazing year-round outdoor playground of the Sierras. Whatever your recreation of choice - hiking, biking, golf, skiing, swimming, sailing, tennis, horse-back riding, or fitness classes – it’s all right at your doorstep.
We treasure our vacation home and feel blessed to own this mountain retreat! It is a perfect home for a family get-away for those who will respect & treasure it as we do. Our hope is that by renting our home to other families they too will have an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate not only our home but also partake in the abundance of the glorious Sierras.
Tranquility comfortably sleeps ten (10) between an upstairs Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed, a 2nd downstairs Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed, a 3rd downstairs bedroom with a Queen size bed, and a 4th downstairs bedroom with bunk/trundle bed which sleeps four. Each master bedroom has a private full bath and a shared full bath for the 3rd and 4th downstairs bedrooms.
Other home comforts to enjoy include a river rock wood-burning fireplace, vaulted pine-knotted ceilings upstairs, fully equipped open kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in upstairs Master Bathroom, 2-car garage, upstairs outdoor deck – perfect for BBQs or relaxing amongst the pine trees, backyard – great for lunging & other snow-play in the winter, movies, cable TV, board games, books, and yes – even Wi-fi.

Come during the sun-drenched days of summer, or the majestic fresh powder days of winter, or for chilly fall days filled with shimmering Aspens turning colors in the gentle breeze, or in the spring when Crocus and Mules Ears begin to break through the waning winter snow. Winter, spring, summer, or fall all you have to do is call and Tranquility – the state of being tranquil -- free from agitation of mind or spirit – could be yours.

Please be advised that the access road into Tahoe Donner and our property driveway could be considered steep. If you will be renting our home during the snow season (typically Nov 01-May 15) you must bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or always carry chains.
