  The condo was in need of updating. Although the condo is beachside, the beach could barely be seen from the balcony. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the showers had very little water pressure. The last time I took my family to Gulf Shores area, we stayed at Crystal Tower where there was free WiFi, and ample amount of towels and cleaning supplies. We didn't have to wash towels every day. At this condo, there were no condiments left, just even salt and pepper would have been nice not to have to buy. At the end of the day I like to lay in bed and watch tv, and in the bedroom, the tv was so out dated, it would only pick up just a few channels. I was very disappointed to have to purchase a weekly package to get internet, and to have to pay for parking. I was very displeased with the condo, and the entire facility. I do not recommend to stay here, especially if you have children. The next time I take my family to Gulf Shores, I will stay at another facility, more than likely go back to Crystal Tower. I give this a poor rating. Not a great vacation place, unless you are an older couple that doesn't plan on doing anything while you are there. Walking down the hallway is like walking into military baraks, which I spent enough time in. Not very luxurious. Gary French

I represented the the condo as accurately as I could with the pictures of the current decor and especially the view. I never attempted nor did I state that this was a luxurious, newer, high rental high rise. We offer our condo very clean, with a well stocked kitchen but we do not provide condiments, groceries or cleaning supplies. Possibly you booked our condo by mistake with one in another complex. Sugar Beach is a very popular,family friendly complex at reasonable rates with security provided. I do hope on your next trip you find something more to you liking.

  My friends and I loved our stay at this condo. Very clean and maintained grounds, security provided, fully stocked kitchen, and not far at all to walk to the beach. Anything one might need is within easy driving distance. The security guard recommended the restaurant Cottons which we thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to go back next year.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway.

  My family really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. The condo was very nice and clean and we really liked how it was laid out. The building was a little older, but we didn't mind at all. The beach was amazing and having three pools was wonderful! We had one small maintenance issue when we arrived but it was addressed and resolved immediately. I really appreciate the very nice man who came out early Saturday morning to take care of the issue. We love staying in Orange Beach and will definitely consider this condo ago for any upcoming trips!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. It was very comfortable and clean and we were so glad to have the washer and dryer to clean baseball uniforms. Between games we enjoyed the beautiful beach and parsailing.

  My girls and I stayed at this condo and had an absolute wonderful time. The condo was decorated beautiful. We love Sugar Beach condos and their abundance of swimming pools and the Sugar Shack. This is the place to stay if you have small children! You must go across the street and get dinner one night, love their steamed seafood and shrimp potatoes!!!

  We had a wonderful time at this property. Our only complaint was the fact that there were some loud people at the complex. There seemed to be alot of young adults there who were noisy. Down by the pools there was alot of people drinking and getting loud. We had three young children with us so i didnt think drinking alcohol by pool side was right. It wouldnt have bothered us if they werent drunk and cursing. But we had an excellent time and the condo was just what we thought it would be. We loved the complex and the security guards were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Since the complex is geared for families, I brought the issue you had about the people at the pool drinking & cursing to the Manager so they can have security more visible at the pool area.   My family and I truly enjoyed our time spent at Sugar Beach #209. The location was excellent and had all the necessary amenities that we were looking for in our vacation, such as easy beach access, rentable beach loungers with umbrellas, and heated pools. The condos had a GREAT family atmosphere!!!! The Security was well done as well!!! The BEST Shrimp that we had while at the Gulf was from across the Condo......It was excellent!! Not sure of the name, but it was across the road from Sugar Beach! The owner, Kathy, was extremely easy to work with on our vacation, and the condo was very clean and well-maintained!!!!

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation and Change Policy: Cancellations can be made with a 15 days notice prior to arrival for a $30.00 charge. Refund of deposit minus the $30.00 will be made with sufficient notice. Reservations cancelled without adequate notice will result forfeiture of deposit. There are no refunds for early departure.
