Very clean facilities inside and on grounds. The condo had more pots/ pans/ storage containers than many of the bigger houses we have stayed at. Three pools and kiddie pool were great. Loved the separated kiddie pool. Our owner was very easy to deal with and all went very smoothly. No additional (hidden) fees except for $20 parking pass. Great place.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friends and I loved our stay at this condo. Very clean and maintained grounds, security provided, fully stocked kitchen, and not far at all to walk to the beach. Anything one might need is within easy driving distance. The security guard recommended the restaurant Cottons which we thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to go back next year.

The condo was in need of updating. Although the condo is beachside, the beach could barely be seen from the balcony. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the showers had very little water pressure. The last time I took my family to Gulf Shores area, we stayed at Crystal Tower where there was free WiFi, and ample amount of towels and cleaning supplies. We didn't have to wash towels every day. At this condo, there were no condiments left, just even salt and pepper would have been nice not to have to buy. At the end of the day I like to lay in bed and watch tv, and in the bedroom, the tv was so out dated, it would only pick up just a few channels. I was very disappointed to have to purchase a weekly package to get internet, and to have to pay for parking. I was very displeased with the condo, and the entire facility. I do not recommend to stay here, especially if you have children. The next time I take my family to Gulf Shores, I will stay at another facility, more than likely go back to Crystal Tower. I give this a poor rating. Not a great vacation place, unless you are an older couple that doesn't plan on doing anything while you are there. Walking down the hallway is like walking into military baraks, which I spent enough time in. Not very luxurious. Gary French

Owner response: I truly hate you had such a horrible experience on your vacation. I represented the the condo as accurately as I could with the pictures of the current decor and especially the view. I never attempted nor did I state that this was a luxurious, newer, high rental high rise. We offer our condo very clean, with a well stocked kitchen but we do not provide condiments, groceries or cleaning supplies. Possibly you booked our condo by mistake with one in another complex. Sugar Beach is a very popular,family friendly complex at reasonable rates with security provided. I do hope on your next trip you find something more to you liking.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. The condo was very nice and clean and we really liked how it was laid out. The building was a little older, but we didn't mind at all. The beach was amazing and having three pools was wonderful! We had one small maintenance issue when we arrived but it was addressed and resolved immediately. I really appreciate the very nice man who came out early Saturday morning to take care of the issue. We love staying in Orange Beach and will definitely consider this condo ago for any upcoming trips!

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. It was very comfortable and clean and we were so glad to have the washer and dryer to clean baseball uniforms. Between games we enjoyed the beautiful beach and parsailing.

My girls and I stayed at this condo and had an absolute wonderful time. The condo was decorated beautiful. We love Sugar Beach condos and their abundance of swimming pools and the Sugar Shack. This is the place to stay if you have small children! You must go across the street and get dinner one night, love their steamed seafood and shrimp potatoes!!!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Our only complaint was the fact that there were some loud people at the complex. There seemed to be alot of young adults there who were noisy. Down by the pools there was alot of people drinking and getting loud. We had three young children with us so i didnt think drinking alcohol by pool side was right. It wouldnt have bothered us if they werent drunk and cursing. But we had an excellent time and the condo was just what we thought it would be. We loved the complex and the security guards were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Since the complex is geared for families, I brought the issue you had about the people at the pool drinking & cursing to the Manager so they can have security more visible at the pool area. Condo was nice, the three pools make for plenty of room and no overcrowding . The only complaint of the condo is the master bathroom is so small it's barely enuff room for one person to take a shower . Must be a small person to use the shower . And make sure not I park under the pool on second floor . Overall great 6 day vacation !

My family and I truly enjoyed our time spent at Sugar Beach #209. The location was excellent and had all the necessary amenities that we were looking for in our vacation, such as easy beach access, rentable beach loungers with umbrellas, and heated pools. The condos had a GREAT family atmosphere!!!! The Security was well done as well!!! The BEST Shrimp that we had while at the Gulf was from across the Condo......It was excellent!! Not sure of the name, but it was across the road from Sugar Beach! The owner, Kathy, was extremely easy to work with on our vacation, and the condo was very clean and well-maintained!!!!

We stayed for the second year in a row at this perfect little beach-home-away-from-home. The 1 foot kiddie pool and short walk to the beach is perfect for our 2 yr olds. The condo set up is a great layout as well.

Enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. Acommodations were a bit cramped, but the condo was clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the pools and easy access to the beach. Some of the best March weather we've had for spring break.

We have been coming for 12 years and renting this unit has been the best experiance of any .From the keyless entry and the great decorations we knew we were in for a great stay. The whole complex is cleaned everyday. It was just like the listing showed.Then we found the 6 miles of bike/hike paths was right across the road. So bring the bikes. Be prepaire for live alligators(pet) and bald eagles. Have some seafood cooked right across the road. The heated pool was great all winter. On duty security .There is just to much to like about this unit to mention them all.Location........ But the best part are the owners. Talk to Kathy and you will see.

Long Weekend Stay

This condo was absolutely wonderful. My Mom, Dad, and I stayed a long weekend for the Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores. The condo was exactly as described regarding location, size, appearance, and amenities. The pictures actually do not do it justice..it is adorable! It was very clean and we had everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be staying again. The owner was friendly and prompt with any questions we had. As for restaurants, we mostly ate at the festival but the carry-out restaurant across the street was amazing..very fresh seafood at a good price! We give 5 stars!!!

Great Vacation Spot

Thank you so much for such a down-at-home place to stay for our vacation. Your condo has a well equipped kitchen which I loved. I have stayed at places that had a bare minimum of dishes and kitchen accessories. This kitchen has everything you would need to bake, cook, entertain, and serve meals. We went out to eat at several places as well. We reccomend The Hangout, The Shrimp Basket, Bahama Bob's ( Pangus fish), Hope's Cheesecake, and Bubba's. We enjoyed the sand and surf as well as the swimming pool options. The pictures of this condo are very accurate. The beach has lounges and umbrellas to rent. We always like that. The security staff we very helpful. We liked having keyless entry. (We didn't have to worry about a key getting lost.) I can tell whomever decorated the condo likes art. I appreciated the condos coziness. We felt right at home. We hope to visit again. Our favorite thing is to just enjoy the beach and the ocean. It is so relaxing. We love to visit the fishing pier, shopping at the outlet mall, and eating out. We sure hope to visit again. We will recommend this condo to our friends. Thanks again for a relaxing vacation spot. Sugar Beach Condos

We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Condos. The security was nice and the grounds/pools were very well maintained. The two bedrooms and two baths were very handy and the decor was cute. The balcony offered a side view of the building, but you could see the ocean and the furniture out there was quite comforable. We used the in condo laundry, and the appliances and condo were all clean. It was also handy to have a key code for the door so we did not have to worry about who had the condo keys. We hope to come back next year. Our favorite family restaurant was Sea -N- Suds and we liked their daily brunch also. (Only thing we would add to the condo were towel bars in the bathrooms.) :)

We really enjoyed our vacation here.it was so nice & relaxing to escape everything... It had everything we needed... Sugar beach overall was great, plenty of pools, there's a nice "sugar shack" by the pool... and many other great bonuses! We hope to come back next year!!!

My best friend and I came for a long weekend with our little girls and it was absolutely perfect! There were 3 pools including a kiddie pool for the kids that was great. The condo was very clean and smelled nice. It had everything we needed as we didn't leave the condo very much. I will be coming back in the future for sure! The owner of this property is very easy to work with!

We had a fantastic time at Sugar Beach. The condo had everything we needed. The overall property was clean and maintained well. The heated pool was a big plus. The price was excellent also. The only thing I would recommend is upgrading the tv!

We had a great time ! Many sunny days at the beautiful beach and pools. The description of the location was accurate,very easy to find. The photos were also accurate and the property was clean and very cute! I think you could stay a month and not eat in every restaurant! We enjoyed Lambert's with the throwed rolls,Original Oyster House, Wintzell's Oyster House, and Mikee's. The Shrimp there were $10.50 a pound fixed anyway you like them. We loved the evening sunsets .We enjoyed going to church in Gulf Shores on Easter sunday and felt very welcomed. We would recommed this property to anyone who want to kick back and feel at home awat from home.

My husband and two kids stayed at Sugar Beach Condominiums for a full week. The property is very clean and the condo is just perfect for a family of four. The location is great and the pools were spectacular. We will definitely return!

A great place to spend a week! Our family of six stayed comfortably and had a great spring break. The condo is clean and comfortable and adorably decorated! The bright colors, mirrors and tropical motif add to the ambiance (and made the place feel bigger and brighter than other units in the same complex). We loved being right on the ocean side and the balcony that allowed the early morning sun. The three pools were great and we played tennis almost every day. We will DEFINITELY be returning again!
