The apartment is a beautiful two bedroom on the Upper West Side that is one and a half blocks to Central Park. Because of the substantial trees and other vegetation surrounding your apartment and building, the apartment is very quiet and feels like you are in some secluded place, instead of being within a few minutes from fabulous shopping, major tourist attractions like the Statue of Liberty, The Intrepid Battleship, Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, New Year's Ball, Macy's (and Parade) and on and on.

Both bedrooms have queen beds and there is a sofabed in the living room and futon in the master bedroom. The beautiful living room and master bedroom both have a lovely warming fireplace!!

There is a PRIVATE deck off of the living room and enjoy your private oasis!! (Smoking is allowed on your private deck).

The apartment is on the second floor in the back (VERY QUIET) of a prewar brownstone building in very upscale and safe area. You have your own laundry facilities in your kitchen (a major plus). We provide all bedding and linens.

There is no phone in the apartment, but for a small fee, we will provide you with a NYC cell phone with unlimited local and long distance calls within the U.S. and Canada. Large flat screen LCD television is in living room.

There are at numerous different subways and numerous bus lines within two blocks of your aparment. Upon booking, we will provide you with complimentary orientation materials to help you plan your NYC trip, identifying fun things to see and do as well as help you navigate the City easily. We will also provide you complimentary copies of pertinent subway, bus and Central park maps. This will include directions on getting to and from the local airports and instructions on how to drive in NYC without going insane or getting tickets/towed. There are nearby parking garages/lots that average about $30 per day. In fact, all visitors to our website can download free NYC maps and schedules for all NYC subways and buses (just ask us for our website as VRBO does not allow us to post it here).

For no additional charge, we will arrange for a car service (including a limousine) to meet you, your guests and your luggage at any one of the nearby airports and bring you safely to your front steps. The car services we use typically have a fixed price for each of these New York area airports (including Newark, NJ).

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME WHILE ENJOYING ALL THAT NEW YORK CITY HAS TO OFFER!!
