Beautiful 1950s vacation house on 5 acres in a quiet and private area, with mountains to the south, bordering the park and long serene vistas to the north. Five minutes from “downtown” Joshua Tree and 8 minutes from the Park’s west entrance.
Tastefully furnished with two bedrooms plus a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Fine linens, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, patio, and screened-in porch.
Walking distance from a wonderful hiking trail on the Parks northernmost border. Enjoy sunrises over 29 Palms and spectacular sunsets over Mount San Gorgonio.
A desert getaway to write that chapter of your book, paint that painting, relax, or hike the trails of the Joshua Tree National Park.

The house and location were perfect. Quiet, secluded, and relaxing! Made great new Joshua Tree memories that complement numerous childhood Joshua Tree memories.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a perfect place to recharge and enjoy Joshua Tree! Photos do not do justice. Short drive to the west park entrance, slightly longer but pleasant drive to north park entrance. The house is very clean, well appointed and comfortable, very cozy in winter and affords beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and wildlife. Kitchen patio is the perfect place to watch the sunrise, but you can catch it though the bedroom windows, too. Compact but plenty of room for two adults and our two young kids. Warm fireplace, cozy bedrooms and roomy screened porch. A minor wi-fi issue was handled immediately and courteously. Owners are responsive throughout the booking process and utterly respect your privacy. Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

From the time we pulled up the driveway, we all knew we wanted to return again in the future. The house is so beautiful and comfortably cozy, with an elegant simplicity. The view was amazing, especially waking up to the rocky hill views from the bedrooms. We had a fabulous 2 days climbing rocks in Joshua Tree National Park, only a short drive from the house. Our 5- and 2-year old boys both loved our stay as well. We hope to get back to this house in the fall. $165/night plus tax for 3 people. $25 for each additional person per night. (2 night minimum) $1059.30/week. Applicable taxes in addition. Summer Discounts. $35 pet fee for well behaved dogs. No unattended pets permitted in the house at any time. 2 nights - $330.00 + tax, 3 nights - $495.00 + tax, etc.
