I rented this charming little house for a month while working in the Hartford area. The home is fully equipped and close to everything yet far enough away to escape the masses and enjoy a quiet taste of traditional New England living. The views across the lake are inspiring - you wake up each morning to a beautiful sunrise across the water right out the window. Ducks, geese, and wildlife are in abundance and several historic sites are within walking distance such as Nathan Hale's homestead and cemetery as well as the quaint town of Coventry offering a few shops and some fantastic breakfast places. Lovely experience and would recommend.

We came from all over to celebrate our nephews admission to UCONN, Six people stayed very comfortably and 3 others joined us for dinners. The home was on such a beautiful location lake side we didn't want to leave. The home was immaculate, with lots of linens, towels, dishes. The owner was delightful, and very helpful regarding local activities. Visiting Coventry Museum was a highlight. The photo's were exactly as it was. We heard rowers in the morning, Canada Geese migrating, Saw Great Blue Heron fishing on the shore, and the fall colors were breathtaking. We plan to return for his graduation in 4 years, if not earlier. Thank you for making our reunion so priceless.

My family and I, along with our several small dogs, stayed here twice ths winter, and are hoping to again this spring. The owners were very friendly and accomodating, even with the last minute reservation and late night arrival of our second stay. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, It is homey and impressive all at once, with beautiful views even in the winter, and a fenced in yard. Our second visit was last minute, and the day after a blizzard...but everything was plowed and shoveled before we got there, the owners even shoveled off an area for us to bring the dogs out. We had family members who live in the area over for dinner, and they were all impressed. It was so nice to be able to cook for everyone even being away from home, and the family time in a comfortable, light and warm atmosphere was priceless. We will be checking for availabilities every time we are planning to visit the area. Thank you so much for everything.

We all had an enjoyable time, the cottage was great, with all the comforts of home! The cottage is right on the lake. The owners couldn't have been nicer. We would definatly consider renting again!

This is a very comfortable and charming house. The hosts were very welcoming and understanding. There was even a basket of fruit waiting for us! It felt like my family was invited into someone else's home. Everything was provided even down to spices in the cupboard. Three words to describe our experience; easy, gracious, and wholesome.
