This charming Swiss style chalet is nestled in the Laurentians mountains on a 2 acre hillside lot overlooking Lac Mercier. This 3,500 sq ft chalet is spacious enough for 4-5 couples or 2 families, yet cozy enough for a small group also.
The wood fireplace in the living room is also in sight from the double pedestal pine dining table (seats 10). An entertainment room over the heated double car garage allows guests to watch TV/DVD or enjoy another wood fireplace from the large sectional couch in privacy and out of hearing range of the main living area. The house boasts a fully equipped kitchen with European flair any gourmet would envy.
The private balcony from the master bedroom suite on the upper floor provides the best view of the lake and mountains, especially in winter after the colourful autumn leaves have fallen. In addition, a large jetted bath and custom shower stall allow guests to relax in a spa like setting. The remaining 3 large bedrooms each with a Double or Queen size bed (2 with additional single beds) are located on the lower level with walk out access to a lower level deck and 8 person hot tub nestled among the trees.
Built in recent years with post and beam construction in living room, wood and ceramic tile floors throughout, wood ceilings on main floor, and many upgraded finishing details, this executive quality chalet has all appliances and conveniences you could wish for for a get-away be it golf, skiing, biking or simply relaxation in a tranquil setting. This ski chalet owned by a ski racing family comes equipped with all basic ski tuning equipment (additional available on request).
The chalet is a 2 minute drive to the old village of Tremblant with groceries and shops, and less than 10 minutes to 6 destination golf courses, and 8 minutes to Mont Tremblant ski hill and pedestrian tourist village offering abundant shopping and restaurants. Outdoor activities are limitless – skiing, snowboarding, skating and snowshoeing in winter; road and mountain biking, golf, tennis, hiking, swimming in summer are just a few. Many are accessible without even getting in your car. Daily replenishing of the two feeders in the driveway will ensure continuous visitation of deer in this secluded forest setting.
This is a perfect retreat to enjoy a quiet glass of wine or single malt scotch, on comfy furniture overlooking the mountains....while the kids are being entertained in another section of the house. Why the Owner Chose Mont Tremblant
This is our third Tremblant chalet over a 27 year period. We started with a small place we shared with another couple when we were first married. As kids and dogs arrived we eventually moved to our own chalet. When our boys were racing extensively and one attended a ski academy in Mont-Tremblant, we bought this chalet with the intention of selling our house in the city. Circumstances changed and we ended up maintaining both places. It seems a waste to have it empty so we now offer it for rent when we are not using it.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This chalet is furnished and equipped as well as our home in the city. It offers all the conveniences but in a relaxed and very private environment. We start to relax as we approach the area and once we unload the groceries and store the luggage we light a fire and open the wine...sometimes we don't even make it to the ski hill and are content just to read our books curled up on the sofas. We have rented VRBO homes in several locations and have traveled extensively around the world and have used this knowledge in preparing for your stay. We sincerely hope that we have thought of everything we could to make this a memorable and delightful vacation for you.

We are a family who have raised our three children between Ottawa and Mont-Tremblant. All of our children learned to ski at Mont-Tremblant, and then went on to race extensively and become ski coaches as well. Our sons both skied at a national and international level. We love our chalet as it is a great spot to congregate for family vacations and to catch up with our many friends in the area. We know the area and all it has to offer in all 4 seasons. We pride ourselves on being able to provide personal advice and share our knowledge to help you plan your vacation.

We spent a long weekend here during the ski season. It was a great set up for our group which included three couples, two teenagers and five young children. Very clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you could ask for....we would definitely recommend it!

An absolute dream chalet! Every amenity you can think of and more, beautifully maintained. Owners were very helpful and have taken every consideration when it comes to their renters. Great location 10 minutes from the mountain - would rent again in a heartbeat!

We had the pleasure of spending 7 days over the Christmas holidays in this beautiful chalet. There were 12 of us and it was plenty spacious. Great kitchen, fireplace and hot tub! The owners were extremely accomodating and helpful and made our stay very easy. Beautiful surroundings so close to the hill and very picturesque. The deer were incredible to watch. Everyone in the surrounding villages were extremely friendly and helpful. For our first VRBO experience it was amazing!

What an amazing place. The owners were so accommodating, it was amazing. From the first email to the last phone call everything was as simple as can be. The location was prime. We were about a 10 min drive to the mountain, a 1 min drive from a nice little town and situated on a beautiful plot of land filled with amazing wildlife. Every year my friends and I rent a house for the long weekend, ski, hang out, catch up, etc. This year was officially the best place we have stayed yet. Everything you needed they had. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stacked, the place was spacious, the hottub was big and HOT. I could keep going, but I'll end here. The price is right, rent this place if you can. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. -Adam

This house was perfect and better then the pictures. We had our blended family of 4 adult couples and 2 very active 1 year old grandsons (ski bags act as a wonderful barrier). It really felt like a real home for us and it was easy to relax and enjoy. It is close to the hill and the grocery stores in the area are fabulous. The kitchen was very well equipped and we ended up bringing home raclette cheese and buying a raclette grill. The whole experience couldn't have been better.

What a wonderful spot. We were looking for a place for our "girls week" away and this was absolutely perfect! We were at the chalet in May after the ski season but it is clearly a year round vacation place - close enough to restaurants and shopping, yet with all the amenities when we wanted to play bridge, sit in the hot tub, watch movies (from a great selection) or just curl up by the fireplace with a good book. The kitchen has absolutely everything, so for the gourmet cooks in our group it was amazing and all the little touches were there that made our get-away perfect! Thank you - this was a great discovery and we'll be back for sure.

We stayed at the chalet for four nights in July. In total we had six adults and five kids (between the ages of seven and two). Everyone had a fantastic time! The chalet had everything you would need to feel at home -- to quote my Mum, "Wow, they really have thought of everything!". The location was gorgeous and the size of the chalet was perfect for our group. We are already planning our next trip here and I would highly recommend this chalet to all, winter or summer. We've stayed at other chalets near Tremblant and Mont-Sainte-Anne, and this was definitely the best. Luanne was a pleasure to deal with and was quick to respond by phone or email. A very positive experience all around.

We are a family of five, with kids 9, 11 and 13. This house was terrific – great layout, in pristine condition, yet very comfortable. Each of our kids could have brought a friend and there still would have been too much room. Plenty of space in a beautiful mountain chalet, and with great amenities – from multiple TVs to a wood-burning fireplace to an outdoor hot tub. The house was in a beautiful, private location, but was minutes from the village and a quick and easy drive to Tremblant, a very user-friendly mountain. The owners of the chalet were extremely responsive and helpful, accommodating our last minute scheduling requests, recommending local restaurants, and introducing us to a private ski instructor/babysitter for our kids.Great location and ski mountain, and a beautiful house.

This chalet was/is the best. The owners have thought of evrything that a visitor could possibly need and those forgotten items that you may have forgotten to pack. Razors, toothbrushes etc. The kitchen had every utensil you could possibly think of, some items I have persionally never used. The area was fabulous, the ski-ing was out of this world. The decor of the chalet is A1 and the log fires WOW. Luanne's hospitality was fabulous checking up on arrival and prior to leaving. I can only personally thank you for making my first trip to Canada a truly memorable one.
